My thoughts on Jersey Mike's is that it's so-so. They have a pretty decent selection of sandwiches with lots of different kinds of meat but Ardmore any vegetarian options. The veggie option is basically a cheese, lettuce, and tomato sandwich. The staff at this location were friendly, but did not really listen to the order so I had to keep repeating over and over. In general, I don't like how the chain has a acronym or initials for their sandwiches and that the staff tell customers the acronym and don't explain what they are talking about. I got a coupon from my daughter's friend from school. Buy one get one free regular sandwich. Great deal!! The only thing was that I had to drive out to this location in Whittier. The moment I stepped in, I was immediately greeted and was offered assistance. I had a few questions regarding other sandwiches than my go to Club Sandwich. I didn't get his name but he was very helpful and took the time to offer suggestions and shared what others order often. I've never had someone from other locations take the time to explain things and even offered a discount to try different sandwiches next time. I love coming to this Jersey Mike's. Usually the staff is very friendly but today when I went in, I encountered a girl who was very rude to me. Came here on a Saturday evening. Not busy at all. The place is clean overall. We we're welcomed upon entering. I ordered the #13 Italian sub. The reason why I gave this place four stars is because the girl who started to help us was only capable to prep the bread for the sub. The girl who took care of the meat prep was busy talking to someone who is inquiring about working there. Second reason, it took a couple minutes to process the coupon. After this Jersey Mike's opened, I wanted to try it because it is so close to my work. I ordered the Club Sub by recommendation from the worker. I was pleasantly surprised because it was really good! The meats and cheese tasted fresh and they are carved to order. The mini size was perfect for me. The workers were all very nice and helped me order as it was my first time. I got the sandwich Mike's way and I recommend that you eat it fast because there is a lot of vinegar and oil, so your sandwich will get soggy. Sandwiches are bomb! But I wouldn't recommend coming for dinner unless you want to wait over 25 for a sandwich. The night crew is very slow, do not work hard at all, and lack communication . This is a decent place for a good sub. They are efficient in preparing your order as you wait. I prefer it to other sub shops (franchises) in town. We get the biggest sandwich and split it to share. They customize it for us. He likes onions. I like peppericinis. So they'll do half and half and I really like that. We really like the sandwich we get. I think I'll ask for "light" on the vinegar and oil next time. They go heavy on the oil. The sandwich tastes fresh. We have only tried the #2 Jersey Shore's Favorite so far, a cold sub. The food is as reliable as any other Jersey Mike's Sub location you will go to. I will stop by here every so often. However, I find myself often not being ecstatic with the service or that I constantly need to remind them what I do or do not want in my sandwich.
