Disappointed. I placed a phone order, my wife ordered the managers special I ordered the regular meatball sub. I got home ready to eat and my "hot" sub was ice cold, and the cheese was not melted. Luckily I was home so I microwaved it for a couple of minutes and was able to eat it. Will come back again but will check my order before leaving. read more

I called Jersey Mikes on Friday for 2 catering boxes knowing it was a long shot they could do it since I needed it in 1 hour! I was amazed when the gal that answered the phone said no problem we can make it happen. This was actually the second sandwich place I had called and the prior had turned away my business since I didn't call 24 hours in advance. They were polite and had my order ready when I arrived a short hour later to pick up. What amazed me more was that the store was packed when I got there! They not only took care of my last minute huge order but did so while taking care of a store full of hungry customers. I will use Jersey Mikes for all my catering needs in the future! So I'm seeing some non five star comments and most have nothing to do with the delicious food. I love the yucaipa location. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. Yes the price is a little more but worth it for the quality and amount of toppings you get. I usually get the number 7 and my 4 year old gets a turkey. Even she can finish her meal. We got the Manager's Special which is two giant subs, 4 soft drinks and 4 bags of chips for $24.99. When they say giant they mean GIANT. Maybe twice as wide as a subway footling and longer as well. It was very good. But what was even better was the service. All of the employees were soooo friendly and helpful. I tipped and I never tip at a walk-up restaurant. The service was just that great. I had only been to this establishment twice. The second time was last week. I will not return. My experience was that I had phoned in an order, a grilled pastrami with NO thousand island due to an allergy. I proceeded 30 miles to work and some hours later went to eat my sandwich. I am glad I looked prior to taking a bite! It had thousand island dressing in it!! I called and was told that the kid who took my order was new. Not a good excuse for me. I was refunded my money. I typically stroll in on a Friday night and am promptly greeted by the friendly and attentive staff. Many of them remember my order and immediately begin cutting into the freshly baked bread. I usually get the number 9 which contains two types of mouthwatering meats and one delicious cheese, all of which are sliced in front of me. After this, they move to toothsome vegetables, which are the best I've had a sandwich shop. I always top off my subs mikes way which includes the delights of onions, oil, and vinegar. In the end my subs are always of the highest quality and I am happy they are so close to home. :) read more

Worst Jersey Mike's location anywhere, consistently. I'd rather drive extra 15 miles to go to Redlands then deal with these incompetent, lazy , rude , mentally challenged individuals. Why do they sandwiches suck at this one locay as well? Filthy and scary how unsanitary this place is, the cooler door for meat was broken for months and all they had was cardboard covering it, with some rancid looking meat in the display case, they constantly get orders wrong and don't know what sandwiches come with what and Rin out of bacon , bread etc..My son just wanted a BLT which inhave ordered with no trouble at several other locations, but not here . They told me that they can't do that they have a sandwich like it but comes with chicken, i said ok fine I'll pay for that one but just leave the chicken off, i was told sorry we can't do that , i was dumbfounded and asked for the manager, and too my surprise she reiterated the same ignorance and told me sorry my son can't have the sandwich he wants. Well needless to say that was final straw i will not return to this location no matter how convenient i will drive extra 15 miles to have sandwich that tastes the quality anjersey Mike's sandwich should not taste bad like old expired meat that hasn't been stored at correct temperature. I'm giving three stars because I really like eating Jersey Mike's, however, this was my first time at this location. I ordered two Giant Subs and they were very sloppily made. The sandwich was falling apart and she still rolled it into the paper without even fixing it. She put the darkest bacon it ever seen on our sandwiches and didn't even spread it out evenly. I just felt like she didn't really put much effort into making or sandwiches. For sandwich that's pretty pricey, which I usually feel is worth it, I don't feel that she made it worth it. It's really sad for me to have to write a review like this about a place that I really enjoy but it looks like in the future I'm going to have to go out of my way to go to a different Jersey Mike's because the last thing I want is to come home and have to put my sandwich back together because it wasn't made with much effort. So tonight I went here to get dinner for my family, and while in line two workers in the back started yelling at each other, a male and a female employee... Another employee went back to try and diffuse the situation and the male employee starting yelling at her using profanity. It was a very uncomfortable situation. This is my last time going to this jersey mike's location. I go to the one in Redlands often and they are sweet, helpful, and smart people. I wish I could say the same about the ones here. I feel like the people who work here obviously didn't need to pass any IQ test to get hired. Not that they could pass one anyway. I ordered 40 dollars worth of food. They made my sandwiches. I was ready to pay but they wouldn't let me. They don't take 50 dollar bills even though the change difference would be minuscule. They told me to check next door. I was refused. They laughed. They told me to check across the street. Again, I was refused. I came back to them to tell them no one would break my bill. They shrugged and were totally happy about letting this customer go. They ignored us as we walked out. We went to the mechanic shop across the way and waited for ten minutes to be denied. The food wasn't for us. It was for my family. If it was my food, I would've just let it go the first time I was refused but it was for my grandparents, great aunt, and little brother. It's more unfortunate for them than me. Our car was parked in front of jersey mike's so when we walked back to our car, one of the women came out to tell us a customer had change for us. Fantastic! 20 minutes too late! Our sandwiches were soggy and inedible by then. Besides, I knew this meant the women were talking about us while we were gone. That's bad business. I don't remember what the women looked like besides the fact that one of them had a satanic illuminati triangle tattoo with a sunflower in it. This is the people Yucaipa is giving jobs too. I'm giving 2 stars because i came in the other night and they were out of bread. When i came in the guy offered to make any sandwich into a wrap or salad and gave me 3 cards and told me they were for a free drink and chips and wrote "1$ off" also, which was very nice. So today i went in to use them and the girl rung us up for 2 combos and only gave us the 1$ off. While we were eating we were wondering why our bill was so high and checked the receipt and discovered she didn't give us the chips and drinks for free. We went up to tell them and they argued with us and said no it was only for the 1$ off and that it was only on those chip and drink cards cuz they ran out of the others. Incorrect. The man told me verbally it was for free chips and drinks plus the 1$off. They argued but ended up refunding anyways. I don't appreciate the hassle and the arguing. First it was the not having any bread ok whatever i appreciated the kind gesture with the cards, then when i go to use them it's an even bigger hassle? and we're argued with?? Look, if it was only for the 1$ off i wouldn't have tried to get more for free that wasn't promised, but it was, that's what i was told and instead I'm made to look like I'm just trying to get a unwarranted freebie. The night crew here is awesome! Brodie and Nessa, two night crew employees, are so professional yet so down to earth and amazing. It's always a good feeling when you walk into an establishment and feel right at home. They have fun, treat you like you matter, and you will be more than satisfied with your sandwich and experience. Also, a crew is only as good as their leader. Night shift manager Mckenna is also a joy and delight to be around. She's everything you would want be as a manager and she's the manager that you would personally want to work for. This crew is the best. Hands down! This is by far the worst Jersey Mike's I have ever been to. My family visited this establishment on 09/09/2018 and this is not the first time we have had a terrible experience. To start off they were out of pickles which made my daughter very sad as that's all she gets on her sandwich. But oh well no big deal, she would survive. Then when we went to check out we grabbed the cookie to go with the kids meal and proceeded to check out. Justine was our server and told us AFTER ringing everything up and telling us our total that she up charged us for the kids meal because we grabbed the bigger one and that she charged us for chips AND the cookie for the kids meal. To which I told her then I didn't want the Cookie and she decided it was a good time to give me an attitude. So I told her that we would just wait for her to grab the kids Cookie. She then came back and told us they were out of those also. But instead of fixing our bill she just said "oh well" and left it at that, so we were charged extra for the chips added to the meal and left with a sour taste in our mouth for the customer service. When I asked her name she refused to tell me and the manager on duty said she didn't have to let me know. Every single time we come here, which is quite often, we are treated horribly and will never be back. We will also be telling all of our friends of this experience and not give Jersey Mike's our business! read more
