I have golden brown hair and this is dark brown
    Alexis B.

There was a dark brown hair in my good and when I called to tell them I'm coming back and want a refund she said OK. I get there and she proceeds to tell me her manager said they can't do refunds and want to take my name and number. I told her to call her manager and he said the higher ups don't allow them to give refunds and asked for my number again. How can you run a business and not give refunds. I cannot find a number for corporate and had to send an email. It's bad enough there was a hair in my food and now I can't get my money back. Never eat there again!

Sorry that is NOT extra meat.

Massive improvement to this location! Abby made a perfect sandwich tonight. Everything was well balanced. You know what I mean...the meat was spread out well not clumped in the middle. Super good job.

This place is always busy, both inside and with takeout orders, so I definitely recommend ordering ahead if you're in a hurry. That said, they are consummate professionals at what they do, and even if you walk in, the wait is never painful. My advice: check out the menu while you're in line and be ready to order when you get to the register. They're busy, and nobody wants to be the indecisive person holding up the line! Their daily specials are incredible, but be aware that if you want a special from a different day, it's not happening. Also, get there early if you want the special, because they can and do sell out -- which honestly just proves how good they are. Everything here is done right. The menu items are thoughtfully put together, balanced, and full of flavor. Portions are generous without being ridiculous, prices are very fair, and honestly, I think they may even be low compared to the value you get. The staff is always helpful, and the girl at the counter has been there as long as I've been going -- I believe she's family -- which says a lot about the heart behind this place. Don't skip the market, either. They carry some of the best Italian ingredients, and it adds even more to the experience. Saverino's is by far the best sandwich spot in Redlands, and I'd go out on a limb and put them in the top five on the West Coast. Family-run, local, consistent, and absolutely top notch. This place is a winner and deserves a try. Just one warning: THEY ARE ADDICTIVE!

The cuts of meat are perfect, and the bread is delicious -- a little on the harder side, but very good. The staff is quick, helpful, and efficient. Parking can be a little tricky during lunchtime, but it's still easy enough to access. There's some seating both inside and outside, though the place isn't very big. I usually get my order to go.

The Reuben and potato salad combo was especially hearty and satisfying, with rich, savory flavors that felt very true to a classic deli experience. The Hungarian sausage had a great depth of flavor, savory and well-seasoned without tipping into being overly salty. The cherry strudel was a standout to end the meal, filled generously with cherries and syrup, wrapped in a flaky pastry that balanced sweetness and texture really well. The beer tied everything together nicely, cold and refreshing, and exactly what you'd want with this kind of meal. I still prefer Busy Bees in San Pedro, but this was a nice alternative within the IE area. Price: George's Market falls into a casual, reasonable deli pricing tier. Sandwiches like the Reuben and similar deli items are generally in the mid‑teens range, while sausage plates and hot meals can push closer to around $15-20 depending on what you get. Beer and imported items vary, but overall you can expect to spend about $15-25 per person for a solid, filling meal. Given the quality, portion sizes, and specialty nature of the food, the pricing feels fair. Ambiance: The space is part cozy German market, part deli counter, with a warm, wood-heavy interior that feels inviting and a bit nostalgic. There's both indoor seating and an outdoor area, giving flexibility depending on the weather or how busy it is. Beyond the dining area, the market itself sells a wide range of German groceries and specialty products, which adds to the charm and makes it feel like more of an experience than just a quick meal. Service: Service was good and impressively efficient given how busy it gets. There was a noticeable line when we went (especially on a weekend lunch time), but things moved steadily and the staff kept everything organized without feeling rushed or chaotic. Friendly and straightforward overall. Parking: Parking is one of the easier parts of the visit. It's located in a plaza with a large shared lot, so there's plenty of space and no real hassle finding a spot, even during peak hours.

The woman who answered simply said, "Hello," without identifying the store or giving any kind of professional greeting. Yes, of course I know where I'm calling, but as a business, you should still state the name of the establishment when answering the phone. It's basic phone etiquette and professionalism. After I asked my question, I was placed on hold and left there for over three minutes with no update or acknowledgment. It likely would have been even longer had I not finally hung up. I attempted to call back afterward, and no one answered. The staff answering the phones could definitely benefit from proper customer service and phone etiquette training. A simple professional greeting, clear communication, and checking back with a customer who is on hold can make a huge difference. The menu was so vast that we had difficulty choosing what we wanted to eat. I've already determined that I will go back with my husband to try more items! But for today, I ordered the mushroom Swiss Panini, and she ordered the Caprese on a ciabatta bun. We chose these sandwiches already knowing that we would swap a half to be able to try both! The only reason it caught my eye was because our tax preparer was just down the street. It was obviously well loved by the locals after reading their great reviews and seeing a full parking lot. And this was on a Wednesday. We only had time for a quick bite, ordering nothing out of the ordinary. A quickie breakfast of sausage, scrambled eggs, and pancake, were all we had, but everything was nicely done. The pancake was big, light and airy, served with a carafe of warm syrup and a huge scoop of butter. The scrambled eggs were moist and fluffy, the sausage was basically a Farmer John sausage patty that was properly warmed but not overcooked, and very good tasting. My only criticism was the coffee being too thin for my liking, but keeping our coffee mugs filled was something they definitely did well! The service was wonderful. They knew we were in a rush, and handled us with TLC the entire 35 minutes we had. This little family-owned shop is one of those hidden gems where the food is just as impressive as the people behind it. The Asian Chicken Sandwich is still! The chicken is flavorful, the vegetables are fresh and crispy, and that sauce brings everything together perfectly. And if you like a little kick, ADD THE JALAPEÑOS! That extra heat takes this sandwich to another level. Then there's the Pastrami Sandwich... WOW. The pastrami is amazing, and they don't play around with portions. You get a sandwich that actually feels like a meal--not one of those sad little subs where you're wondering where the meat went. The portion sizes are just right, the ingredients are fresh, and the prices are really reasonable for what you get. But what makes Super Subs even better is the family behind it. They're military veterans who genuinely give back and care about their community. You can feel that hometown pride and hospitality the moment you walk in. This isn't some giant chain where you're just another order number--it feels personal.
