Delicious coffee, great service, and awesome ambiance. My friend and I have been to this coffee shop a few times and we always decide to dine in. When entering, the staff is nice and accommodating. They have their drinks clearly labeled and during our most recent visit we decided to get a seasonal drink, the S'mores Latte. Ordering was easy and we took our seats in the area they have closer to the back of the store. The tables are large which I always appreciate. The drinks were made in a good amount of time and they looked amazing. One of the staff members had asked if I wanted a lid, which I thought was really nice! The drinks themselves were SO GOOD! The marshmallow made for a super cool "foam" and the drink itself made for a great treat. I never felt rushed during our 30-minute stay. Such a warm welcome by the baristas I ordered a turkey sandwich just missing the breakfast sandwich. Kayla happily let me switch out the bread for an everything bagel. The sandwich was delicious. Bagel was warm and perfectly toasted, contrasting cool veggies, and not overly sauced. Solid medium (just right sized) sandwich. The space is full and comfortably busy during a Monday lunch time. Wished they had more comfortable seating and not metal stools and chairs. Delicious and unique! First off, you would never know this place exists, it's a little bit hidden in a shopping center where Food 4 Less is. I ended up trying a seasonal drink; the Horchata Pumpkin hot latte and it tasted just like a Horchata drink with wonderful pumpkin spices! The cost isn't much different than Starbucks and comes in two sizes (medium and large). I also ended up getting a small danish, which I think I will pass for next time. The danish was placed in a bag and therefore some of the jam sitting on the top was gone on and transferred onto the paper. The overall taste of the danish was a little bland for my liking, but the pastry itself was nice and soft. Overall, I can't wait to come back! Take all my money now! read more

We visit Jesse's grind almost every time we visit the Valley and they never disappoint. We typically order the Dirty Oatchata half sweet and it's the perfect sweetness to espresso ratio. We order online for pickup so our interactions with the staff is pretty minimal but they are nice each time. We haven't tried their food or baked goods as a lot of doesn't look vegan friendly but the coffee is good and that's all we can ask for. Can't wait to visit again soon! read more

Came in here on a whim when driving through the valley. So glad we stopped, this cafe is super cute and has great options! My boyfriend got an Abuelita latte and I got the ham and cheese croissant and an iced cinnamon coconut latte. First came out the croissant, which they toasted for me. It was delicious! Buttery, flakey, and full of ham and melted cheese. It was a really good size too, so we were able to split it. Next, the cinnamon coconut latte came out. This had that cinnamon coconut flavor but without the sickening sweetness that most cafes make their drinks. It was perfect! Last came the abuelita latte. He loved it and described it as a sweet cinnamon flavor. Everything was delicious and we will definitely come again the next time we're in the valley. This is a hidden gem. I'm so glad I found it. It is in the shopping mall with Jon's, right next to Baskin Robbins. I tried ordering a hazelnut latte, and the cashier told me that only the holiday drinks were available for the Yelp event. As I was looking at the menu, the cashier said she would give me my hazelnut latte. She said that she didn't want to give me a drinkni wouldn't enjoy. That was so thoughtful. Their menu may be few, but it is delicious. There is also seating inside. I love how the kitchen is so visible. We can see our drinks being made. They also support local handmade crafters. I love Jesse's! Been coming here for a bit over a year and my go-to order is their Honey Oat Latte (either iced or warm, it's amazing). I've been trying to stay away from refined sugar so this has been a great drink to stay on track without, and I repeat, without sacrificing great flavor! I've never had a bad experience here. All the baristas and staff are lovely. I've been ordering enough that some of the staff knows me by name and that honestly is such a special feeling. The staff cares. They really care. They care about the customer, they care about our experience and they care about their product. It's a tight space so it does get crowded but that's an indicator of success. My wife and I love this coffee shop. Good quality and fun drink options, plus tasty pastries. The only frustration is how long the service takes sometimes. For instance, on Friday we ordered at 6:38am (with a few people ahead) and it took about 20min to get our order (for 2 drinks and a pastry). One of the drinks was black cold brew, while the other was their matcha oatchata (my wife's favorite). It was frustrating seeing someone get their drinks who ordered a few minutes after us (one was an espresso drink with the steamed milk, so similar time/effort as the matcha oatchata) and us continuing to wait about another 5min. My wife has also had an instance where she waited 30min for just a matcha oatchata. We will continue to support Jessie's Grind, as we love the local shop, but it's hard to support during the week when on a time crunch. read more

This is one of those special times a place deserves more than the five stars allowed. We wanted to check out a local coffee house so we came in and they had a pretty extensive coffee menu. We stood looking at the menu forever. Everyone was so nice there they didn't make us feel rushed at all. They let us take our time to see what we wanted to order. When we ordered the cashier was so nice and so was everybody else working there? Everyone greeted us with a smile. We ordered an Americano and a mazapan latte both hot. We also ordered two bacon egg and cheese breakfast bagels. I know this sounds basic however this was a delicious bacon, egg, and cheese bagel. They use nice smoky bacon and are generous with it (you can also add extra) it really hit the spot. My husband really liked this place because everywhere we go. He gets a lukewarm coffee. His coffee (Americano) lasted him so long because the coffee actually came out hot, which is what he loves and he looks for in a good coffee. Now for the best part of this whole experience. I mentioned I ordered a mazapan latte. it was the most unique thing on the menu and I had to have it. It did not disappoint. This took me back to my childhood summers spent in Ensenada when we would go to the grocery store to fill our condo with food for the week and we each got to pick a candy. I picked that mazapan every time, by far the queen of all Mexican candies.. The latte really captured the flavor, especially with the little pieces of peanut in the latte. I'm currently on a coffee flight binge and was so excited to find another coffee shop that offered them. The aesthetics.. This place is pretty big it has a homey feel to it with tons of plants which is nice. This is Latin owned and I loved the quotes they had on the walls. The service.. The service was pretty cordial and quick. They brought out the coffee flights to our table. The menu is cool they have good options like mazapan and honey lavender. I love how they incorporate Latin flavors into their menu, they also serve breakfast before a certain time. My boyfriend got the dirty horchata but forgot to ask for oatmilk it still tasted pretty flavorful and good. The coffee flight itself is the most expensive one I have seen so far priced at $20 and I have been to over 6 coffee shops that offer flights. I got honey lavender, mazapan, abuelita, and cafe de olla Out of all of them I liked the honey lavender although it was super sweet. The mazapan was okay, the abuelita tasted weird it didn't remind me of the chocolate abuelita, and the cafe de olla didn't taste like it. I know different places make their cafe de olla different but this one tasted burnt. Overall thoughts.. It's a cute shop but the coffee wasn't too special in my opinion. read more

I ended up stopping by this place after it came up as recommended to me. I got a basic iced vanilla oatmilk latte with their breakfast bagel and was not disappointed. The cashier/barista who took my order was very patient with me as I placed my order and seemed really happy to be there, which is very important in my opinion. They had a good amount of tables available when I went, so I ate there so that I could get a good experience. It's an open kitchen concept which I found pretty cool. Plus most of the customers there were working on their laptops or studying, so it wasn't too loud. I will definitely be back to try some more items from their menu. read more

Anyways coffee is great, service is good, and vibes are intriguing (sometimes mellow/calm or upbeat/chatter everywhere). The environment is fun and warm. The only negative thing I have to say is don't waste food please. One time the server made a mistake, and cooked the wrong sandwich. I was looking for a coffee spot near by, this is the kind of place I have been looking for!! Not only is this a Latina owned place but the coffee my freaking God! So delicious, I want everyone to know lol. The barista that took my order was super sweet and I liked that when I asked what she recommended she was able to describe the drink so on point!
