2nd time's the charm - knowing where and what to expect, plus having reservations, AND such nice and friendly staff and quick service made this a great experience. I'd even have to admit that the food was delicious, and everyone enjoyed their food. Kudos to our hostess for helping the table next to us get more comfortable by asking if we could give some space - always willing to help out when we can!! Greeted with a friendly smile by the owner, seated quickly. She let us know right away the prime rib just got out of the oven & suggested the Prime rib loco moco. Seafood crab eggs Benedict was made up with a crab patty and nice pieces of shrimp. Jessica was thoughtful enough to ask how I'd like my eggs poached (soft, medium or hard). Most places don't ask. Husband had the prime rib loco moco, medium rare. Nice, juicy & thick slab of meat over rice. I upgraded my rice to the adobo fried rice. Chunks of pork adobo, super flavorful. We first came to Jessica's when they opened almost a year ago. At that time there were some inconsistencies with pricing and portion size depending on what was ordered. The Business Manager (Jessica) explained they were still working on the menu and thanked me for my thoughts. Today, we had some time and decided to try them out again after seeing a really positive review on YouTube. We are so glad we went back because we loved the service, the food came out super quick, and our coffee cup was never empty. Needless to say, what we ordered was delicious and plentiful. We got the Jessica's Moco and an custom omelette with hash browns. Both were delicious and the portion sizes were good. The Omelette was delicious and the hype surrounding the "Moco" is well deserved - rich gravy covered the burger patty (and brisket corned beef hash, usually) and rice topped with perfectly cooked over easy eggs. I asked for the brisket hash to be served separately so I could taste it fully. The quality of the food was awesome and we didnt mind paying today's prices for this fabulous meal. The food and service was great! My husband had the Lechon Kawali Dinner and I had the Roast Pork Moco with fried rice. The Lechon Kawali dinner plate portion was good enough to leave my husband quite full. The Roast Pork Moco portion let me have left-overs for breakfast the next day. For dessert we shared the Croissant Bread Pudding Alamode. Both of our entrees were delicious, and the dessert was awesome. The server was friendly and the restaurant felt clean and the atmosphere was pleasant, we were able to have a quiet conversation. I think the only other comment I have is that it was a bit pricey, for the two entrees, dessert and soft drink it was ~$90... I and my husband always have breakfast outside after his chiropractic appointment. But not many restaurants our neighborhood. I looked for the place on Yelp and hit here! Located at Westridge SC across Kaonohi St. from Pearlridge Center on SECOND FLOOR! At first I though same level of 7-Eleven and park front of the place where has restaurant sign but looked like "do they open?!",,, looked up their sign again and saw "2nd floor up the ramp" below the name. lol! Oh, the place used to be my favorite Pho restaurant "Pho My Lien" that closed during the COVID. We got inside and reminds me former restaurant but their interior was modern chic. There are bench seat tables right and light, and high chair tables in the middle. We ordered coffee and I chose Yuan's Omelette(Spinach, Mushroom, Onion, Mozarella, Bacon with Hollandaise sauce) with hash brown and my husband picked Meat Eater Omelette(vienna, portuguese, spam, bacon) with adobo fried rice. Our coffee came shortly and our food also not long wait. Anyway, their menu is All Day Breakfast and Anytime Lunch & Dinner! Their service is very nice. I grabbed takeout from Jessica's Kitchen and got the Local Omelette. It was pretty good. The mix of Spam and Portuguese sausage hit the spot. The eggs were a little watery but was mostly because of it being in the takeout box for a few minutes. Pickup was super easy too. Jessica's Kitchen is the newest westridge joint, with a clean interior, spacious seating, and plenty of parking. We stopped in with friends for brunch on a Saturday, around 10am - we were seated at a high top right away, but the restaurant filled up promptly after that. Service was good; the waitresses were friendly, patient, and accommodating. They checked on us multiple times while we waited for our friends, and took our order quickly once they had arrived. Despite a miscommunication about the two kinds of fried rice, they took their time to understand our requests. Prime Rib? On a loco moco? Sign me right up. Sounds like a deal for $26 right? My partner wanted something light, so she opted for the veggie omelette with toast. ($19) Gonna be real here - the food was very OK. The prices they are charging are pretty high, even in this economy. The prime rib loco moco had two lovely sunny eggs, gravy, and rice, alongside a very thin cut of prime rib that was quite overcooked. I guess I should have expected that for $26. The slice had been seared on all sides and had a grainy texture to it. I get that it's hard to have a fresh roast on hand daily, but this preparation just isn't what I was expecting. I would much rather pay more for a nicer preparation, or less for a traditional loco moco. On top of that, Hawaii diners are usually known for their stand-out gravy flavors, which I sadly cannot say for this one. The omelette was large, but heavy on the bell pepper, and again, nothing to write home about. $19 is steep for this one. Fountain drinks for $5 is pretty rough too, with my cup of coffee coming in at $4.50. It's hot and did the job, with free refills, but wow. Fruit juices? Also $5, without the free refills. In the end, we simply felt that the cost didn't justify the experience. It's a great location with wonderful people, but nothing differentiated it from the nearby competition, especially for the prices they're asking. While I cannot personally recommend it, I'm glad to read so many other satisfied reviews and hope they continue to thrive. read more

After a few days of cruise ship food, we were looking for a local spot for breakfast before we returned home and this was perfect! I had adobo rice and poached eggs that were perfect together. Also, try the sweet bread French toast. I wish we could have visited again to try some of the other options, because everything looked amazing and it was clear watching the waitresses and customers that many of the customers are regulars. Only recommendation if you're from out of town, it's located on the second level and around back of a shopping center, and Uber/Lyft had a hard time finding it. hot and new in Aiea! they are located across the mall on the second floor on the back - where tony romas used to be? kinda area. Wanted to check it out and see if it was worth the hype since there was a lot of good reviews so far. I was in the neighborhood so i wanted to stop by. The restaurant itself was not busy at all. i was the only one there. maybe i was too early? it was about 5:30 P.M. I ordered the prime rib loco moco for $27. Done medium (but was more on the rare side) with over easy egg. I got mash potato instead of rice because i dont really eat rice to begin with. The prime rib was pretty average and you could kinda tell that its probably not the best/softest cut of meat that they used. The mash potato was also boxed ones and it could use less water in it for more texture and a little bit of salt for taste. Overall - this place is pretty average for the price. service was pretty friendly, but i was also the only one there. SHe offered water while i waited, but i waited outside since i had my pupper with me so she brought it out when it was ready. read more

Sunday May 18, 2025 First time, coming here. The former location of Asian Grill in the Westridge Shopping Center upper level to the right of Jackson-Hewitt Tax. We got here at 7:30 pm late dinner and they close at 9:00pm. Plenty parking as most places close at 9:00pm in this shopping center. We were seated right away. We knew what we wanted the Ribeye or the Prime Rib. Sad to say, Jessica the owner let us know those are the 2 things they ran out of. Oh, wells. No early bird, so no worm today. lol. We ordered the Traditional Benedict $18 and add Adobo Fried Rice for an extra $5 more. Jessica's Bento $28 and add Adobo Fried Rice for an extra $5 more. Service is friendly and fast. Food came out shortly after. It was good. Not Ribeye or Prime Rib. lol. But, good. Ambiance is bright inside, casual and comfortable. We told Jessica that we will try to be back earlier next time to try the Ribeye and Prime Rib. The best would be to go during breakfast! While having dinner with friends. There was a mention of a new restaurant in The WestRidge Shopping center. Tried them out today and was disappointed. They are located in the former Asian Grill on the second floor of Westridge SC. We got there at 10:30 a.m.. Besides my wife and I there were two customers seated. To start the server was pleasant and my wife ask the server if she worked at the old restaurant. She said yes. Well my wife ordered pancakes and I ordered the Fish and Chips. An order of their Trio appetizer to share. The pancakes were ok, it didn't go on her to buy again list. Waiting for the rest of our meal the server came to inform me that they were out of Mahi Mahi to make the Fish and Chips. She said they could do if with Salmon. I declined and changed my order to Lechon Kawali. My wife was almost finished her meal when my lunch arrived. Still no appetizer yet, so I began to eat the Lechon. The pork had a good crisp ,but overall dry. Almost finished with my meal the the appetizer came out. The dish comes with calimari, Shanghai rolls and fried chicken. Celebrated 40+ years with some of my dearest friends at Jessica's Kitchen last night. We had a group of 18 people and Jessica and her staff were awesome. The restaurant is so cute, very welcoming, spacious, even the area that we were sitting was spacious. Service was above and beyond awesome. The food....I don't know where to begin! This was only the second time I came, very impressed! The food was soooo delicious. There is so much to choose from for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Prime rib, breaded pork chops, ribeye, bento, and so much more. There are so many choices. My friends were very impressed with the quality and quantity of food. The taste.... DELICIOUS!!!! Great quality yummy food and friendly service. I went for nice reviews and they were right. Breakfast. I had the prime rib loco moco over fried rice and it was perfect! Eggs were just the way I like them. The meat was tender and cooked just perfect. Rice a bit salty but I like it that way. And the coffee was really good - just regular coffee but good! A friend had Mahi Mahi - the plate looked bland with little color (might throw on some orange slices or something to ale t prettier) but the taste was really good! Went there on a Saturday morning, around 7:30. There was only one deuce already there. Kinda spooky when a restaurant has been open for half an hour and is empty. But the server was attentive and friendly. I had been craving for adobo so it was an easy choice for me to order the adobo omelette. Being a less adventurous eater, my companion ordered French toast with Portuguese sausage. It took a while (even the couple before us had a long wait. But then when the food came I received a humongous portion. I think twice the size of what I would have gotten at Thelma's. Partner liked the coffee and he usually has to ask for extra cream but the server had brought lots of containers of cream saving him the trouble of asking for more. The fried rice adobo had lots of meat in it (and it was lean, not fatty gristled pieces). Took home half of it. The restaurant is clean (partner said the bathroom was very clean). The booths were large and comfortable. When we left the (deuce had already left) so there was only a four top in the restaurant. This place deserves more patrons. There was a wait across the street at Anna Millers. This place is clean, has tasty food with large portions. read more

Food was good. I had a side of fried chicken which I thought was super crispy with great flavor! Just thought $5 price was a bit much. I also had the adobo fried rice with lechon kawali & over medium eggs. Eggs & kawali were cooked perfectly. The adobo fried rice was alright. For an upcharge of another $5, I thought there could've been more adobo. It was mostly rice. My lunch meal turned out to be $28+tax. Saw this place on YouTube (Felix and Amanda's page). The Wife and I gave it a try today...about 10 mins ago. Took one bite of my fried rice and it tasted spoiled. Took a smell of it and it absolutely smelled spoiled. EVERYONE in Hawaii knows what spoiled rice smells like! Everyone has opened that rice pot and asked, "I wundah if dis buggah still good!" Called the Server over and she smelled it...told me they just made it today. Took the plate to the kitchen where a dishwasher and two cooks smelled it. Both cooks admitted it smelled spoiled...dishwasher never responded. One cook got an earful from the Server who I'm sure was embarrassed. A tall male entered the kitchen and tried to get me to leave. He admitted he's one of the Owners. He never wanted to smell the dish...never apologized...never stopped all service...never went to the dining room to ask patrons to stop eating while they check food quality...never. All he kept telling me was..."that's enough...you need to leave." He at least told me to have a nice day while I was walking out.... I don't mean to demean small locally owned businesses...I wish them all success! My concern is...there was a table who left just as we sat...they were four elderly Asians...Japanese...I'm not sure...probably in their 70s...what happens if they got sick? They don't recover like us younger folks. The lack of accountability, lack of immediate action to verify food quality, the unapologetic nature of the Owner...as if I were the problem...just be careful everyone! First time visiting Jessica's in Aiea and we absolutely loved it. We ordered the Jessica Moco -- and wow! It comes with both a hamburger patty and a homemade corned beef hash patty, and it was seriously delicious. The corned beef hash especially tasted fresh and homemade (because it is), and the whole plate was hearty and flavorful. Service was also excellent. She was working it and moving throughout the restaurant. She was great. The place was clean and spacious. On to the food. After looking over the menu there was a lot that looked so ono and of course, we were all hungry. So, we start with appetizers, and they were out of a few things which is fine. We got to order onion rings and ahi poke. When it was served the onion rings was burnt. Our server did notice and opted to bring us new batch. The ahi poke.... you could tell it was NOT MP (market price) fish as listed. Perfectly cut cubes with a gritty texture and taste like the smell of fishy fish. You know this is not fresh. We did enjoy the fried chicken, the pork chops, cheeseburger and the kid chicken strips w/ fries. The 3 of us overed the Sizzling ribeye.... we were quite disappointed when it came out not sizzling on the pan. It looked as though it was maybe boiled and fried maybe? or Put in the oven then transferred on to the plate? It was gray in color and not the oily au jus juices that oozes out when you order this type of meat. My overall experience, the service was great. Jessica was on top of her service, the food not so much. But maybe in time, with more help the quality will improve. I'll wait a few more months and come back to try again. read more

Decided to try out this new establishment. Read some of the already posted reviews and we are always looking for new places to eat. Knowing they just opened a month prior, we were opened minded to try something new Located above Kim chee 7. Lots of parking. Nice decor, clean. Just a FYI...they have hanging lights that hang pretty low, I saw several customers bend down to avoid hitting their heads when walking from the front to the counter. We went for breakfast. Immediately we were greeted by the friendly owner. We ordered waffles and she let us know right away that they only had 1 waffle maker so it might take awhile which we were fine with waiting. We ordered the waffle combo, an order of Belgian waffle and a side of longganisa sausage. The Belgian waffle didn't look like or taste any different than the regular waffle. All our waffles were soggy. I believe it is because since they only had 1 waffle maker, it sat as they made each one...which were chalked this up to learning curves of opening a new restraunt. Everything else's tasted okay. As we ate our breakfast, we talked about how good the dinner and lunch menu looked and possibly coming back soon. Then our bill came $8 for 4 pieces (2 sausage cut in half) of longganisa. Coffee was $4.50. It was a little pricey compared to other places in the area. It started getting crowded as we were leaving and it was still only the owner seating, taking orders, see serving and cashing out. We were craving Filipino food and saw Jessica's Kitchen was new so decided to check it out. We arrived around 10am and were greeted as we walked in and got seated right away. The restaurant was open, bright, and clean. Our orders: Yuan's omelette, tocino and eggs with fried rice, side order lechon kawali. Everything was what we were craving for! Delicious! Especially the Lechon Kawali. The Tocino was nice and sweet. Service was amazing, we always got checked on and our waters kept getting filled. This place is not permanently closed. Edit submitted today. I went here this morning and the macadamia nut pancakes did not disappoint. Haupia syrup on top of 3 stacks of fluffy pancakes. The only thing I would change is if you are going to charge $23.00 for that please add a small container of haupia syrup to add underneath. Either that or add it to each layer. Service was excellent and prompt. My boyfriend had the fried rice, spam, Portuguese sausage, and over easy eggs. He said it was a good portion of food and delicious. His sister had the potato omelet and liked what she ordered. Again portions are good and we shared the pancakes between the 3 of us. Finally, I had traditional eggs Benedict and was happy with that. My boyfriend said the pineapple juice was great! Coffee not so much, but tasted like regular diner coffee if you're into that.
