Hidden gem alert!!!! If you're looking for a mom and pop spot this is it. I wanted breakfast but didn't want to wake up early. After a search on Yelp I found this spot. What drew me to them was the liver and it being 10mins away from my house. They are across from Pearl Ridge Mall. When you enter the center parking lot drive around to the back of the plaza. It is located on the second floor. You can also take the stairs or the elevator after you park if you don't go around. There is plenty parking. The windows were tinted. Which keeps the soon out and allowed for a more intimate setting. The waiter was very nice. We were greeted upon entry. You sit wherever you want. We ordered the Chicken n Waffles, side of two egg scramble with cheese, side of bacon, liver with double rice gravy, bacon on side, lumpia and corn beef hash. The waiter checked on us just enough. We picked up a take out order from here for the prime rib loco moco with fried rice. The rice itself was super flavorful and had adobo in it, which was a nice surprise. I thought the prime rib would be the star of the show, but honestly it was super tough and extremely salty. Ate here for lunch with some girl friends! Staff were kind and attentive. The seating is spacious and comfortable and parking was fair. I was interested to see a new restaurant and one that has a lot of Filipino influence. The menu is fairly extensive but the waitress recommended the Jessica moco as it's the best seller. Personally the moco was tasty but on the saltier side for my liking. I thought the burger patty was a little overcooked and corned beef hash patty was the real winner. And I would never have found this place if it wasn't for the Food Fiend YouTube Chanel. She's great at reviews. Well what can I say, it's Filipino food with a modern twist. The familiar flavors are there meaning delicious. I went on a late afternoon and it was crowded. I ordered takeout but it took awhile for my food to show up. I can understand it was busy. My takeout order was pretty heavy and I know why. These plates were packed. Good food all around. Overall four stars. The food was delicious. Messicas I would like to start by acknowledging that Jessica's is going through some major growing pains and it's showing. Out of kindness, I will be deleting my review after one week just because I want to give them time to get it together. The most glaring problem was that there was jessica-ple (just a couple) of items actually available to choose from. The frustrating part was getting our menus, having a lot of time to decide what we wanted, ordering/getting our drinks, and THEN being told our first, second, and third choice was not available. As we saw group after group walk out without ordering, we ended up staying and eating due to sheer awkwardness. Although they didn't eat anything, those who left had a lot of their time wasted, which ironically will be the thing that leaves a bad taste in their mouth. Jessica's would benefit from letting their patrons know what is and is not available immediately when handing out the menus. That way, people can immediately decide whether or not to eat there. Also, I could feel how uncomfortable the waitstaff was when taking orders. I was under the impression that they also didn't know what was and wasn't available. It was like watching the captains go down with the ship while I watched others evacuate in lifeboats while I felt too uncomfortable to go towards a lifeboat myself. But like I said, I feel like this is a lesson in not enough supply and too much demand. I just hope that after this debacle, there will be enough demand to keep up with the future supply. I came in on a weekday with my coworkers to try the Breakfast options. The restaurant has a decent amount of seating and it wasn't busy so we were seated right away. Ambiance feels local and homey. The service wasn't too bad, but it was slow due to the fact that there was only one person doing everything. I felt so bad, but she did apologize and explained that her workers called out so it was only her waiting the tables and cooking. It's a local/Filipino cuisine. I ordered the Jessica Moco w/ Fried Rice ($30) and the Macadamia Nut Pancakes ($23) to share. It was decently sized, but I thought it was still a little pricey considering other restaurants have something similar but a couple dollars cheaper. However, it was pretty delicious. My favorite were the pancakes, although the sauce was a little too thick. I think it'd be great if it was smoother and thinner so it can soak into the pancakes better. The Jessica Moco was very savory and I actually think it's better with plain white rice because the meat is on the saltier side. Overall, I'd come back to try the other items. We were looking at a place to have breakfast and stumbled upon this place on yelp and decided to try it. It's on the second floor a couple doors down where Makino Chaya used to be. Their menu is pretty extensive and everything sounded good but I went with the lechon kawali and upgraded to the adobo fried rice. My Husband ordered the tuna melt with waffle fries. The lechon kawali was topped with onion and tomatoes and it was accompanies with a soy/vinegar sauce. The lechon kawali was really crispy and tastey even without the sauce. The adobo fried rice was really good too. Not salty. My Husband really liked his tuna melt. I can tell he enjoys his food by his initial reaction of, "oh wow this is good." The service is awesome. Jessica's is kinda new to the scene. Across from Pearl ridge center 2nd floor above 711, Kehaus kitchen and Kim Chee restaurant. Very clean and friendly staff. Been there twice so far and enjoyed it both times. On both occasions I went at about 4pm and the place was empty. I guess not too many people know about this place. Hidden at the mall across Macy's (on the old Kam Drive In side) where 7-11 & Kim Chee 7 is- you will find Jessica's on the 2nd floor. This is the first time we tried the restaurant. Parking lot available. Restaurant with good temperature. Clean, with booth or table seating. Breakfast is served all day. We had the French toast. So good, soft but crisp edgings... fresh made Adobo fried rice with bangus. Fish is not too fishy or salty or vinegary- perfect. I like the sauce in the side with the fresh tomato and onions atop the fish. The fried rice with chunks of adobo. Sisig came on a sizzling platter with the egg to cook at the table. Good flavor. Lechon Kawali!! Good taste with sauce in the side. Means it's not soggy. Fresh tomato & onions. The pork is soft - moist and yet crispy - good size portions. (Some places they over cook and the pork is dry or hard). You can pay at the table- QR code. I paid and apparently there is a delay for them receiving the payment. They stopped me on the way out and said from across the restaurant "wait the payment did not come through". I walked back and showed her my electronic receipt for completed payment. We came on a weekday during lunch, and it was already pretty busy. It looks like the owner runs the front of house, which gives it a personal touch. The food here is good and the service is EXCELLENT! So why the three stars right? The wait time was so long that I can't explain how relieved I was that it was just my husband and I. I kept thinking, thank God we don't have small children or a large party how would we keep them occupied for 45 min? Luckily my husband and I have different schedules so we got to catch up but even he started complaining at the 28 min mark and we had another 15 min to go. When our food finally arrived it was hot, fresh and delicious. He loved the flavor of his garlic chicken and we would definitely return as long as we didn't have anywhere to be. Great new asian fusion joint in Aiea! Located on the upper level of where you find Kim Chee 7 restaurant. Jessica's is nicely clean and well lit with a good amount of seating. Lot's of booths and they can accommodate big parties. Food here is great! It was our first time here and wont be our last. You cant go wrong with the filipino dishes. Nice portioned! The pork sisig came out sizzling and tasted amazing! Lechon Kawali was sooo good! Pork was nice and tender and the vinegar sauce is a plus! I had the meatloaf, which I posted! Do not come here on a weekend without making a reservation online: they seat both reservations and walk ins and the wait can be very long. We were waiting almost an hour before getting a table, while several parties with reservations were seated. Not the best experience. Good was good, albeit I do not think it deserves 5 stars, this is not a fine dining restaurant. But overall quality is good an portions are sizable. Service is good and attentive. Great service, very friendly and quick. Owner Jessica was the sweetest and great at training her newer servers. Asked a couple times if I wanted refills which was great. It is pricey but yummy, !! I had the traditional eggs Benedict but changed the Canadian bacon out for normal bacon. The hollandaise sauce was so good and creamy and they had the right amount on them!!! Vibe was ok, sat closer to the bar section and you can just hear a bit of chaos. Understandable since they just opened, I got the Jessica moco and for almost $35 bucks for burnt meat and salty gravy was definitely not worth it. I took off the burnt meat and put it on the side of my plate and ik the waiter seen it and said nothing. My other half had their fresh corn beef brisket, $21 bucks first look at it and we're both like WTF! The portion was small, literally you can get half the price at Koa pancake and his corn beef was burnt!! We were pretty much over it, just ate the food cause we hate wasting food even though it wasn't up to par. But I wouldn't recommend here until they fix their portions and talk with their cook about burning food! read more

I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the service we received at your restaurant today. We chose this establishment expecting a pleasant dining experience, but unfortunately, our visit was very disappointing. We arrived at approximately 11:30 am, got greeted by the hostess upon arrival, told us there will be a 15 minute wait, which was fine. We got seated then we we waited another 15 minutes to finally be greeted by a waitress. We sat at a table where your staff walked back and forth so I don't know how they could not acknowledge us. After getting our drinks the waitress took our orders. My husband asked the waitress to have HIS meal to be in a take out container. He finds it easier to take home for whatever he can't finish eating. WELL, we ended up waiting for our meals for ONE HOUR, the waitress didn't acknowledge us and did not inform us at to why it was taking long. When the meals FINALLY came, all three of our meals were packed in take out containers! The waitress asked if my daughter and I wanted it served on a plate, we said no and we'll just take and leave. She then insisted we just stay seated and have our meals. We said no and just bring the tab and left. Very bad service and NO TIP given. I don't think we will return to eat here. Located on the upper level of the Westridge complex, go up the ramp to the back of the building and park for free! Inside, Jessica's Kitchen was clean, spacious, and bright! On July 2, my husband and I had to find a good reason to come back to this awesome restaurant since my sons, my husband, and I were just there on June 28 and loved their delicious and very generous portions of dishes. So on July 2, we celebrated my husband's arrival date to Hawaii from the Philippines in 2013. We tried their other yummy local dishes - Spam Eggs with Adobo Fried Rice and my favorite Fresh Corned Beef & Cabbage - As usual, service was excellent - I got very excited when Genie (the awesome server) mentioned that the restaurant is moving to Kapolei in September to a much bigger place and that there will be indoor and outdoor seating and will eventually have a band playing while customers are enjoying their meal. To be honest - I didn't realize the fried rice cost more because I probably wouldn't have upgraded. This would've been a huge mistake - the fried rice was so yummy! Had a hit of the prime rib seasoning and lots of other goodies inside. The prime rib was thinly sliced and perfect for a breakfast meal. Had the gravy on the side to fully appreciate the savory goodness and it didn't disappoint. We also had the Mac nut pancakes with haupia syrup. Hubby and I planned a brunch date. Wonderful for a change since we didn't have son for the day and took a break from we're making and cooking breakfast on weekdays. I'm thrilled this is one place I'm able to eat adobo fried rice without feeling lethargic. Lol! Hubby had two bites and I consumed the rest of Macadamia Nuts Pancakes with Haupia Sauce. Two one inch high, fluffy pancakes which also tasted delicious plain, covered generously in Haupia sauce and topped with macadamia nuts. Heavenly! Maple syrup not necessary. I was very hungry! This location is either cursed, or Jessica's is just that bad. Unfortunately first time experience last night is a sign of it's downfall. Layout of restaurant is just weird, with hodge podge of mis-sized furniture. Bar area looked like only storage. Only 2 servers for entire restaurant, which of course made service challening. Had two young braddah staffs just standing and sitting around. Wifey counted like 7 parties come in, then dig out after a little bit. When we ordered, it was like they were out of 70% of items, - thanks servers for telling us what was out after the fact of us trying to order it.- Seriously how can you not have chicken or Mac salad!!! Excellent customer service! The lady that took our order was really nice and attentive; she offered to get me water and refill my coffee through our time there. I ordered the corned beef has with scrambled eggs and brown rice. The plate came with one scoop of rice, one corned beef hash patty and eggs. The rice was cooked perfectly! Not mushy and not too hard. The eggs were the consistency of egg beaters and were not seasoned at all. I'm sure this is done to meet everyone's dietary needs.. they had seasonings at the table. The corned beef hash had a weird starchy taste to it; I didn't really enjoy it. My husband ordered the garlic fried chicken with fried rice and Mac salad. The chicken was fried perfectly and the garlic sauce was absolutely delicious! He also enjoyed the Mac salad. His only complaint was his choice of the fried rice instead of plain white rice. I will advise that you double check your receipt because our total came out to $80 and when I questioned my husband why it was so high, he realized we were charged for 5 cups of coffee on top of our food and his soda; I only had one cup and didn't even finish it.
