Jeweler's workbench-Nashua NH Horrible experience!! I went there to have my 18K earring post fixed. The color of the earring became dull,looks like some of the gold were chipped. It doesn't match the other earring anymore. The owner was rude and ignored my complaints when confronted. He just want to take your money.No customer service at all. This was reported to the Mall manager who was also useless. If you want your jewelry fix, go somewhere else. See other customet's reviews about this place. I am FUMMING as I write this. This was a simple repair that I had my husband go do and it took a wild turn. The worker, Paul, should absolutely be fired. He completely broke my husbands watch when all that needed to be done was fix a crystal. When my husband complained, he ACCUSED my husband of trying to scam him which is a joke. My husband did not once ask for a refund, all he tried to do was tell Paul how he could provide better service in the future. Then Paul, who obviously can't take constructive feedback, said that he had my husband on camera from six months ago? OK why don't you pull that up because we have not ONCE been to your store. This was absolutely outrages, this jewelers workbench is shady and, as you can see from these other reviews, it is NOT the place to go for repairs. read more

The worker at the store at the Pheasant Lane Mall was extremely unhelpful. He sold me the wrong size batteries and would not let me return them. I went looking for a batteries for some stopwatches I use in my science classroom. I showed him the battery, and he sold me 8 batteries that he said would fit. They did not work. The battery fit into the space, but was too thin, so the stopwatch would not turn on and work. When I tried to return the seven that were still in their package, he would not do a return. I was forced to spend $70.00 on an item I do not need or want. Since it was his fault that I bought the wrong size items, it seems pretty poor customer service to not take them back and give me a refund. If I could give a zero star I would do so. read more

I've used this location a number of times; mostly for batteries for watches. I need a spring pin for one of my watches and visited on Saturday. After trying quite a few different pins, I was told that they didn't have the right size and would have to come back on Monday or Tuesday after they go a shipment. I went back Wednesday night. They had the pin and when I reached for my wallet to pay, I was told "no charge". When I asked "are you sure", he said "it's because you had to come back". Talk about caring for the customer. I will always use this place, as long as they're in the mall. read more

My ring wasn't done as said by the gentleman who checked it in. I left and 10 minutes later he called me to tell me that it was ready. I was almost home but turned around to get it. He did a great job. I even had him polish my wedding band. I would have my jewelry done there again. Next time I will be sure it is done before picking it up. Happy with the results read more

I had a horrible experience last Saturday 6/24/17 with the sales person (an older White male) working the kiosk around 11am. I was recommended by a shop assistant at Macy's to get my watch adjusted at this kiosk (they couldn't service my watch at Macy's as it was a gift and was not purchased at Macy's). This was a brand new expensive watch that I wanted adjusted so I could finally wear it. I go to the kiosk and immediately regret dropping my watch there when I see the Kay jewelers right across from it but I said hey what's the worse that can happen. I come back 20 mins later as advised and hand over my ticket, and at first the sales person gives me someone else's watch and I pointed it out to him then he double checks and gives me mine and informs me he couldn't take all the links out because someone else mysteriously stripped the pins. This was a brand new watch I told him, and he was the first person to work on it. The watch was so brand new it still had the plastic film on the front and back of the case. He hands me the 4 links he took out even though I asked for 6 and when I asked him to remove the other links he said he wouldn't work on it, it's stripped and no one should work on it. Then I point out the scratch on the watch that I noticed on the back and he tells me "honey you would make worse scratches than that as time goes by", which is true, but there is a difference in you scratching up your possession and paying someone else to not handle it with care. I started to make a scene but thought better of it. I paid, went to Kay jewelers and got them to fix what he messed up for the same cost. They could only take one additional link out because the man at the kiosk had stripped one of the pins too much and it was too hard for them to work on it. $30 later I am left with an expensive watch that does not fit. Don't drop your watch or jewelry at this kiosk just go to Kay's. It's the same cost and they treat your possessions with way more care. read more

Extremely disappointed in the service we received today. My husband brought 4 watches in have the batteries replaced. An older gentleman man took the watches and said to come back in 20 minutes. My husband returned to get the watches and the gentleman gave back 3 watches and slid one off to the side and said he didn't know how to set it. My husband thought the man was acting strangely and looked at the watch. There is a clear crack in the back of the watch where the digital display was. I say was because the lower digital part of the watch no longer works. My husband asked what happened and the man claimed he didn't do it and tried to go brush off my husband and go wait on another customer. My husband tried to speak to the gentleman about what can be done but he kept denying he broke it. We just paid and left at that point. The watch was not broken when it was handed over for a new battery. I have attempted to speak to a manager but no one answers the phone when I call. read more

After writing the above review to the "Simon Mall", I received a call from Ben Smith, the owner of the Jeweler's Workbench. He was genuinely concerned about the situation and assured me that he would address the situation with the gentleman that I dealt with , who happens to be the manager of his business. I truly understand that anyone can have a bad day and I am more than willing to give them another try. I also received a call from the manager who I dealt with on that day with an apology. I feel that they have gone above and beyond to try to rectify the situation and I certainly accept the apology. I will return with the watch this week and I was assured there would be no charge for the repair. I am not looking for anymore than that and I thank them for their concern. read more

The employee working today was beyond rude, Security even had to tell him to stop swearing to two mall shoppers. A friend went to get his watch after he had a battery put in for $15.00 so in the hustle and bustle of Christmas Shopping he did not realize the Mall closed at 11:00, when he went to get his watch, he noticed he had just shut the case light and said I'm just in time. The guy told him he was closed and come back tomorrow to pick up his watch. My friend said, just give me my watch. A Mall shopper heard his rudeness, and said It's Christmas give the gentlemen his watch. He said mind your F------business, you fat b-----. The Mall Security even knew he was there before it should have closed, He continued to use extreme profanity, even when the Security personnel asked him to watch his filthy mouth. We asked to have the Nashua, N.H Police come, and the employee was aware they were coming, so supposedly he called " THE OWNER" and he told him not to give him his watch. He then left before the Police could intervene, so we will go tomorrow to get the watch. We are going to call the Mall Manager and reiterate this "TRUE SCENE" during Christmas at "THE JEWELERS WORK BENCH". Whatever you do do not ever buy anything, or have anything done from the "HOT HEAD" they have working there. Buy your jewelry anywhere but there. We are going to do everything we can to have them thrown out of the "Mall", or at least get rid of a "TICKING TIME BOMB". NEVER BUY A THING OR HAVE YOUR JEWELRY WORKED ON BY THE $8.00 an hour Moron. A name he actually called my friend. The incident was the employee's show of his Christmas Spirit. We even asked him \to accept cash and give us the watch. I brought my watch here to have the battery replaced. While replacing the battery the associate knocked the face numbers off, essentially breaking the watch. When I confronted the associate he stated that he could not have done it, and that I must have given it to him broken. He then stated he could fix it for an extra 20$. I loved this place prior to the incident, but now I will never go there again. read more
