first off wheels I wanted were the TE37 sonic 15x7 4x100 in bronze. Rims showed in stock so ordered and paid for. After which a week later I received an email informing me that they actually didn't have them in stock and would probably be a 6 month wait for the ones that I wanted. Then after checking i was informed they only had them left in black shadow and they were almost out. 2nd I was informed they were an additional $40 and once they received my additional payment it would be processed. a week later I finally get shipping. Arrive and packaging was a little suspect and light on protective material for rims that cost $2600+ tax and shipping. Rim color looks good but noticed no center caps so called them up and they informed me I should of read the description because scroll to the bottom and it says no center caps which i asked why didn't they inform me since I had to make a quick decision and didn't get to read the description. Whicy I responded to why the first set showed them in the pics when they don't include them. they then informed me they would be glad to order them for me at almost $100 a piece and wasnt even offered any discount considering the absolute terrible experience I had. First off i order my part, then get a email they dont actually have it and it will take 4 to 6 weeks to even get to them. Well the 6th week rolls around, I unfortunately have something come up and need to cancel. Mind you they still dont have the part, But proceed to tell me it will be a 8 percent cancelation on a part they still dont have. Also apparently it takes a week to as they said "do the paper work to cancel the order "which is the weirdest and most sketchy thing ive heard of most places cancel same day not a week. Purchased a spoon carbon fiber wing for a Honda EG recieved the package a few months later with scotch tape holding together a mangled box. opening The box the same tape was mummy wrapping the bubble wrap with non spoon tape. Once I took said part out it was broken on one corner white paint and scratch marks all over the perimeter of the part. the holes where the screws go was scratched all over. I requested a refund as The part was not brand new.! They immediately blamed ups. I stated that the tape on the outside was the same as the inside around the bubble wrap which came like that from California.. I had to file a cllaim with my credit card company to get my money back and thats when they reached back to me to refund my money entirely. I paid over $230 for shipping now they are saying that the shipping is $85 dollars when it comes to refunding the shipping. I stated that I paid $230 and even went back to their page as to order again and the checkout came out to over $230 dollars. Sent them the sscreenshot Of the shipping and never recieved my refund. I have dozens of photos of the item that they know they shipped out. still have to fight to get my shipping money back! And on top of that I paid the additional $85 "protection delivery" plan that also wasn't refunded. went ver and ordered directly from spoon with cheaper part delivery and brand new. Later in the afternoon after no response I called back to ask if it was ready and was told there was an issue and would be a few days so I told them I wanted to cancel the order and would like a email confirmation of the cancellation. They said it would be next week before they can confirm the cancellation. Told them I just wanted an email confirmation by end of day that my order is cancelled, understanding the refund takes longer. I made a purchase for about $700 and thats enough to start their game with you. Here is the scam they run: First they will make it look cheaper on the website than anywhere else. Then you go to check out and shipping is more expensive than if it weight 10x as much and was going 10x as far. So, now you're paying about $200 in shipping for some bushings and axles. Then, they delay the shipping for at least a week before they call you on the phone(so there is no record of it) to tell you that there was a typo in your address and that they need you to rebuy it in order to avoid the 20%(or according to other reviews here whichever amount they feel like that day) restocking fee. So they want you to know that your money will be withheld for 15 days and you need to pay double your order price. Or you can cancel and give them the free money fee they need to get free money. So you complain in an email and they write back don't worry sir we will waive the fee. Then you say ok well I don't have the money to buy again until the refund comes in but thank you for giving me all my money back. At which point they immediately flip the script and inform you the restocking fee is indeed their free money. I made sure they knew that my plans to spend thousands in their online store will be canceled if they take my money in this way. They insulted me calling it speculation and that this go around they will indeed be taking free money for me to ever think of placing that order in the first place and not giving me anything in return even though it's 2 weeks later from placing my original order. Now, I just have to wait a month to get my money back and that's only after they dip in to take their free portion of it. Like what? I just wanted to buy some parts from you guys, then after that buy some more but ok? Take the $140 you don't deserve and avoid the hundreds maybe thousands in profits you could have had from me by the end of the year and get another person in the world refusing to do business with you and making sure the story is shared at any opportunity. read more

They accept my return request, my payment for shipping, and the product. They then proceed to tell me the part was missing pieces and damaged. I couldn't drive with them or even put them on so there is no way I could have used them. I've been trying to get my money back for 3 months with no luck so far. Came here the other day cause I was recommended by tire central. I was coming in for wheel locks for my wheels. As soon as I approach the front, I was already given attitude by the worker there. I thought he just had a certain tone to begin with. He informed me that I wasn't able to buy anything on site. Only online and for curbside. Which I completely understand. Just to let you know, I wasn't really familiar with how they did their business or that they even had a website. I didn't even know JHPUSA existed. But if there's one thing they should work on, it is definitely customer service. Because when I asked the same worker where I could find the wheel locks on the website, he said to me "well obviously it would be under wheels". With a very unpleasant attitude and tone that just made me want to leave and take my business somewhere else. It will definitely be my first and last there. read more

Terrible customer service. They do not care about the customer at all and will charge you extra any way they can. You need to be on your toes here because they throw on random charges and extras everywhere thinking you won't notice. They also have a return policy that is made up on the spot. Depending who you deal with you may end up paying as much as 20-30% restocking fee to do a return. It is variable based on how they feel, seriously. I've been told I would only be charged 5% restocking in the past and it was not true in the end. They also are barely able to speak English it seems because you need to ask your question 5 different ways until they finally understand it and can give you an answer. They weren't easy to deal with. their customer service was substandard to say the least. After going round and round about the product number they finally shipped the product but it was the wrong item. After calling over and over and it just got exhausting so I just cancelled the order. I spent $742.20 but when I got my refund it was minus $134.64. Wanting me to wait the entire FedEx damaged item process. (One that could take up to a month) While the entire time my car sits on jackstands needing these coilovers to drive. I literally stood there one time waiting to get helped without any acknowledgment. However there have been times where I have spoken to them about my build and the pros and cons of a particular part. I understand that the majority of their business is handled online, however it wouldn't kill to have a bit of a better walk in customer service is all. If you need a part chances are they have it, I have been in a situation where I needed a Type R throttle cable OEM and they had It in stock to my surprise. What a joke, my 18yo son ordered a shifter boot for his 2000 si, after he ordered it a couple days later he told me it was like $24 so I asked him about shipping he said it was $28 to ship, as it was too late to cancel and hadn't arrived yet he waited. We are in the Bay Area so only north in CA, after it arrived I called JHPUSA to see if they could help on a rufund of part of the shipping as it came in a USPS envelope that was only 6"×10" and should have only cost around $4-$5 at most he said we should have negotiated the shipping when he ordered and nothing they could do. I was expecting to see JHPUSA.com "THE STORE!"; miles of Rota stacked canyons, with a racing bucket seat Ikea styled showroom, coilover suspension fastened neatly but with a JDM slant to every wall in sight, and Race Queens waving chequered flags at every checkstand! It could have been wonderful! ---What I got was a small office with 3-4 guys sitting at cubicals with a couple small glass showcases with some DOHC VC's and a few towhooks inside. Anyway,yeah all the good stuff is in the back warehouse outta sight but if you know what your looking for its just like ordering a pizza. Share some small talk and give one of the dudes your info to be stored in the customer database while one of the other dudes retrieves your item. Its that easy, before you know it youre back in the DD and on the way to the garage to install your new squash airfreshener into the race machine, or somthing like that. Now, what really prompted me to review this fine establishment was my second visit. I stopped in to quickly grab somthing for my car and be off, only to find the store was closed due to inventory. Kinda weird since it was during normal business hours but that didnt stop one of the employees from taking a time out and asking how he could help. Some places would have simply asked me to return at a later date (maybe that nicely) but not here. Even after he (sorry I didnt get his name) learned I just needed a cheap (~ $20) but essential for my day part, the service remained friendly.
