I went to Jiffy Lube today and I needed an oil change and a safety sticker. First and foremost, I come to this Jiffy Lube because I enjoy the people here. Some people are more efficient than others, but all around a good ohana. When I pulled up and inquired about a Safety Inspection--the guy replied its gonna take 2 hours!!! I was a bit surprised--he said that their are at least 5 cars that need to be inspected. While I was waiting for my oil change, I approached Issiah who did my inspection last year. I asked him what time he pau hana, he said 3pm. I asked him if he had time to do my inspection before he pau, he said "yah". Now remind you Issiah finishes in an hour... I was very appreciative, because I didn't want to have to go to another place. Effective "YES" also want to say that Issiah is by far a hard worker... Thank you Issiah for your assistance today. Also, Leimomi she is AWESOME!!! I noticed that she is the Assistant Manager, well deserved position. She was very helpful making sure their was enough air in my tires. Another big mahalo to FLO who assisted me at check out. He had great customer service skills, efficient, and polite! These are the main reasons why I go back to Jiffy Lube!!!! Just caught this Jiffy Lube location trying to rip me off. I came in for an oil change and cabin filter replacement. When I dropped off my car, I told the employee I want to see the old cabin filter. After about 90 minutes, they pulled my car out front and notified me the service was complete. I reminded the cashier that I wanted to see the cabin air filter. He went back into the service area and returned about a minute later and said, "you're good". LOL! I replied, "No, I want to SEE the old filter". He went back into the service area, and a couple minutes later two employees entered my vehicle (in front of the shop), and started accessing my cabin air filter. Sure enough, they removed a very dirty, old/original air filter! The cashier tried to lookup my make/model cabin filter, and identified it as containing the numbers 11222. I notified him that was the engine air filter part, as I had just recently replaced it myself and recognized the part number. After about 10 minutes, the two employees returned to my car and struggled to install an incorrect cabin filter that was clearly too big compared to the old one. They called someone who wasn't currently at the shop, and about 15 minutes later the arriving employee had what appeared to be the correct filter. While the employees are friendly, they're very dishonest and sloppy. I will never be returning to this Jiffy Lube. I'm skeptical if they even changed my oil and oil filter, as a new sticker was not placed on my windshield. read more

Customer service was alright, said it was going to take 2 hours to flush all fluids vacuum my car and restore my headlights so me and my fiancé went to eat.. they called us back in 45 minutes and said the car was done.. paid $800 for everything that they done they even gave a list of what they did.. took the car back home and something told me to check under the hood.. FAKAZ drain my coolant system, my windshield water but I didn't have no coolant inside my container, no water in my windshield container, my break fluid was the still the same as is normally its full to the max. my power steering fluid was also the same as is... they said they was going change ALL fluids and max it to the limit.. Only thing looks good is my oil change and transmission change.. everything I'm missing all my other fluids.. I been going here for years now and only now they fuck up... just a tip for you all who's reading my comment.. just be sure to check under your hood before you leave the spot if they telling you that they going change all your fluids.. read more

If I was able to give them no stars, I certainly would. We took our 2008 Chrysler Sebring here on 8/29 to have the breaks inspected. They have been super squeaky and worried my husband. With our three kids in tow, my husband and I waited patiently for almost two hours for them to complete the inspection. They quoted us $780- almost half of that was for labor alone. They told us that the break pads were done to almost nothing. While we were willing to pay it, we wanted a second opinion. Thank goodness we did. We took it to Lex Brodie's the very next morning and were told that the breaks were fine. Less than 50% worn down and that squeaky noise just happens sometimes. The folks over at Jiffy Lube are absolutely disgusting. I can only imagine how many other young families they've taken advantage of. I've come here twice before for oil changes and I can no longer trust these crooks with that. DO NOT GO HERE, I've warned you. read more

This Jiffy Lube just tried to scam me. Pure extortion. They just tried to extort a brake replacement by falsely failing me on my safety inspection. I called their bluff and they changed their story. Went for lunch after leaving my car for an oil change and safety inspection. 30 minutes later, Dude calls me to tell me to call him. I walk over and he tells me that oil change is done. But he had to fail me on the safety inspection on account of my brakes being too worn to pass me. That's the only thing that I failed on, so as soon as I correct the problem, I'll pass the inspection. He brought me to my car and pointed at the metal on the brake disk through the wheel well. Told me brakes were at 2mm thickness and pointed at the scrapes on the disk. Emphasized strongly that I needed the brakes fixed to pass the inspection. He was "kind enough" to give me an estimate. with parts and 3 hours labor (at 110 bucks an hour for labor), it was 900 bucks. I balked. He tried to push it hard. Said I failed the inspection because of it. I asked if the car was driveable and he said yes. So, I said, no thanks. I'll just pay for the oil change, the failed inspection, and be on my way. He said okay. 10 minutes later while I was paying, he came in and whispered that he went ahead and passed me on the inspection, but that I should get my brakes replaced soon. He said it in such a way like he was doing me a favor. Two weeks later, I'm getting my brakes checked out by a real mechanic, who says 1) you can't measure the thickness just by looking through the wheelwell (you have to take the tires off), 2) the brakes are both at 4mm and 5mm, both 50% and 60% thickness remaining, 3) don't need to get brakes replaced for a while, 4) there was no reason to fail me on the inspection based on these brakes, and 5) with zero squealing and only 36,000 miles, my brakes do NOT need immediate fix. Yeah, Jiffy Lube tried to extort a $900 brake replacement out of me by threatening to fail me on the inspection. read more

My oil light came on telling me it was time to change my oil. So I decided to take it to a known brand, IE Jiffy Lube. The night before I drove there, my tire pressure indicator had come on telling me that one of my tires was below the required 35 psi. It also read all four tire pressures so I knew what they were before my service. Part of the "signature service" you receive at Jiffy Lube includes a tire pressure check and refilling. My receipt says they did that when I paid for my service. However, my tire pressure readings were exactly the same when I started my Jeep as they were when I arrived there. Also... my change oil light is still on so I have to wonder about that too. I filled my tires at a gas station and the indicator lights went out so I know they didn't perform the full service they advertise. I'm going to take my Jeep to a dealer to see about the oil. I would not recommend this franchise location for service. read more

Most definitely will come back here ! Service was great , didn't know which oil to choose cause u know most girls like me don't know crap about a car lol but the gentlemen helped me with that. Went in the waiting room for them to finish my oil change and it was done in 10min! I think it's because multiple guys work on your car all at once, exactly how it should be everywhere else. Sears I had to wait almost 1 hour and a half for them to finish and at tony Honda they were gonna charge me $60-$70 on my brand new car so didn't make sense. Glad my boyfriend recommended me to go here since he had a great experience as well. Everyone is friendly and the price was affordable with the $10off coupon I was able to use. I normally go to Tony Honda for my oil changes because hmmm we'll that's the first place I went to when I moved to Hawaii and considering I own a Honda Pilot that would make sense right?!? Well my husband normally makes my appointments for me so I had no idea Tony Honda requires you to schedule an appointment one week out. In desperate need of an oil change I found these guys and I have to say that they are AMAZING! First of all you do not need an appointment, secondly it's super easy to check in with them, you just drive up to the service station and they do everything else for you and thirdly they are quick and efficient. There was quite a few people in front of me but considering I didn't have an appointment and I just made a "random" stop waiting 40mins was not bad at all!! I wait longer then that for my "scheduled" appointments with Honda anyways. Not only where they quick, friendly and efficient but they vacuumed my vehicle and wiped down my windows, talk about GREAT service!! I think I found myself a new spot for oil changes, they are a lot closer to me then where I use to go! read more

Went to get an oil change yesterday, it took about 10 minutes, they told me what was done with my car (change oil, vacuum floors, checked my fluid levels) when I got into my car the floors were not at all vacuumed.... It didn't bother me at first so I and left, when I got home I checked my fluids which were not full like they told me. So overall I am Very disappointed in the service I received, I always come here for my oil change and After this I don't even know if my oil was even changed correctly. I will not be coming back. If I could I would give this business zero stars. read more

I went to Jiffy Lube Pearlridge to change my headlight bulb. I previously had a bulb changed at Goodyear Gemini and it cost me over $80. I called Sears Auto and they also charge around $80/bulb ($60 labor + $15 bulb). After complaining to my friend about the cost, he told me he went to Jiffy Lube to change his bulb and it only cost him $12. I called Jiffy Lube and they don't charge for labor--it cost $8-ish for the bulb (the price depends on the type of bulb). I was skeptical to go to Jiffy Lube because I have had multiple bad experiences at another JL location over 10 years ago. But after getting a good review from my friend and the significant cost saving, I took my car into Jiffy Lube. Since I also decided to change the oil, the service technician asked if I wanted my cabin air filter changed since it was past their recommended mileage change. I agreed to have it changed only if he thought it was necessary. Apparently my air filter didn't need changing. I'm glad that they did not change/charge me for service(s) that wasn't warranted. Once everything was done, they walked me to my car (it was vacuumed and the exterior windows were cleaned). I am glad I decided to give Jiffy Lube another chance. They have significantly improved on their service from the last time I went. I will definitely be back. read more

I have been going to this Jiffy Lube for a few years, it's fast and convenient and usually my service is complete before my pedicure is finished. This last time was not so great. Same friendly and fast service but I was asked if I wanted a tire rotation and I said why not, I'm due for one. When I got the car back my car was pulling really bad on the right. The next day I went back and said that my after they rotated my tires my alignment was off. The attendant went inside to talk to someone and said, yea, the rotation of the tires probably caused the alignment problem but "they don't do that here" and I would have to take my car someplace else. What?!?!? You offer to rotate tires but you don't balance them out? I don't understand. So now I have to take more time out of work to take my car in someplace else, spend more money, to get my cars alignment fixed. It was just fine before and I'd never get my tires rotated if I knew they weren't going to balance them after. That makes no sense, a bad alignment is worse on your car then tires needing rotated. I really do like the convenience of this place but sadly I don't think I'll go back again, if I do I'll stick to the basic oil change and filters. read more

Just brought in my company vehicle which is a 2013 Ford Escape. It required an oil change along with replacing the cabin air filter. Red flag popped in my head when one of the workers started asking if this car even had a cabin air filter. So as they were driving my company vehicle into the Bay Area there was a guy in the front directing the driver, who was vaping. Once the car was parked the guy in the front popped the hood then continued VAPING . When all was said and done the vehicle was completed. I went in and the first thing they told me was that they DID NOT replace the cabin air filter because they didn't have the tools. First of all it is a 2013 vehicle. There is no way they did not run into another 2013 Ford Escape and not knowing that there is a special tool that they would need to change out the cabin air filter for future cars like this. C'mon, I understand if it's a 2017 or even a 2016 but that had 3 years of getting this tool that they did not have. I went on to You Tube and checked to see how difficult it was and what type of tools I needed to change it myself. In the video it took that person no longer than 5 minutes using only a star shaped tork screwdriver (which by the way I have). THATS IT!!! Guess I'm going to have to take 5 minutes of my time to change it out myself thanks to the guys at Jiffy Lube. Oh yeah the 1 Star is only because they were honest in telling me that they didn't change the Air filter. read more

I made a yelp account just because this jiffy lube was so terrible. Charged me $50 for a safety check because they put new windshield wipers on as a mandatory part of passing my safety check. My wipers worked perfectly fine two days ago. And I still failed my safety check because my low tire pressure light was on. Did they try to fill up my tires, no. I went to Nissan and they did my safety check for $20 and it passed, they said low tire pressure only fails you if there is a flat tire. When I called jiffy lube about getting my money back the manager treated me like I was too stupid to understand why they failed me and repeatedly said, "you don't understand any of this, so I can't help you!" I will never return to a jiffy lube for ANY services thanks to this experience. read more

My wife and I went to this JiffyLube for a safety inspection on both of our vehicles. Based off of Hawaii having different vehicle laws than that of the mainland we were prepared to make the necessary changes to be in compliance. We were told that our window tint was too dark. Ok not a problem, but then they hand wrote that there was an issue with some running lights that had burned out and needed to be replaced. One issue that I have with this is I saw that there were codes in their system that indicated why the vehicle had failed the inspection rather than just the registration. The failed tint code was there, the failed registration code was there, but there was nothing there for running lights that they claimed also caused my vehicle to fail. At first this is not a be deal so we go to get our vehicles in compliance. Now I was told that rear window was too dark by 3%. We took both of our cars to a tint shop and advised my rear window was fine. The tint installer had me take a photo of the tint meter that read I was 4% under and advised could change it but did not want to take money out of my pocket. I took my vehicle back to JiffyLube after fixing the remainder of the issues to pass my inspection. Now to safety inspector tells me my rear window tint is now 8% too dark. This is where my issue comes into place. My car was taken to a professional tint shop and the rear window tint had not been touched. All of a sudden my rear window tint is +5% darker than what is was 4 days ago. My wife was also told that if she brought her plates back to JiffyLube they would be able to put her vehicle license plate bracket on for her, but mysteriously now they tell her she needs to plate license plate on first before they issue a sticker. She gets blank stares from the workers who blatantly told her they could put the plate bracket on for her. Telling us that they could provide a service and then not sticking by their word cause us to waste a lot of time in the morning that we really do not have. I hope that this place can provide better equipment/training for tint reading as to not have a customer waste their time and money, to input a complete list of fail codes so that it doesn't look like they are nickel and dime people, and also to stick by their word for services they say they can offer. The only reason I give this place any stars is because of the awesome lady who had checked us in. read more

this place receives a single star from me, this place used to be great... fast in and out service when a young asian guy who used to manage this place, now you're waiting for days...workers playing around and management on their phones and joking around with the workers. i arrived and was not greeted politely, instead they pointed fingers rudely to me as if i was dumb as i didn't know which bay to go into. all i wanted was a safety inspection but they decided to bring me my air filter, my a/c filter, and told me my oil was low. how did they check my oil when my car was running? i thought to myself that's not how you check oil and first off i was only here for an inspection. i watched the workers prance and frolic around my car making it seem as if they were inspecting it, but really wasn't. there was no hot water and coffee was burnt smelly. i didn't replace the air filter or anything else because i wanted only a safety check, but i did ask if they could set my tires, but the girl at the register with the blonde hair said it only comes with an oil change. i figured if they supposedly checked my oil and filters they would be able to check my tires. so i said that's OK, i will be going elsewhere for that as i said to myself I'm definitely not coming back. after waiting an hour for my safety check i was called to the register to pay, as i approached the girl at the register, she said 15.39 and your car never passed, come back in 30 days with defects corrected. so i asked whats wrong, she said you have a light out. so i said can you replace it, she said no we don't have the light in stock. i wished i was told earlier cause here i am thinking i was good but now i have to go replace a light that they don't have in stock, yet they have my air filters in stock. as i left i realized that this place needed more workers and there was no management on the floor supervising their activities. there was only 4 people in the bay area and the rest were under the tent and by the tree smoking. there was absolutely no customer service at this service center and did not feel special or wanted at all. it seemed to me as if they were only to raise my bill and make me wait. i never came back with the defect corrected as i went to Firestone, waited 1 hr again for the safety check and they called me and asked if i wanted my light replaced and they had the part in stock and they even checked my tires! sometimes its worth the wait to try someplace else that has better customer service. read more
