I had my safety check done here a few months back. And surprisingly, the wait time was pretty good for a Saturday morning as a walk in. Less than a half hr I'd say. So after they had finished the job, it wasn't until I got home that I had noticed a bubble on my safety check sticker. Apparently these people don't take off the old sticker. And the new sticker's been gradually bubbling, starting to peel from the corner. Sad to say, there service was a disappointment. read more

They are straight up group off guys, 30min oil change you get a quick vacuum, wiped down exterior windows, fluid checks n of coarse fresh oil n filter, sold for me. I had my transmission oil changed here, also brought my own oil of choice. It was fast, it took about 20 minutes max from waiting in line to driving out. They also gave me a lowered price since I brought my own oil. Staff were really friendly, while I was standing by waiting with the rest of the crew we were just chillin talking about cars. The price for the type of service I was getting on my car was a bit steep in my opinion. Surprisingly my dealership service shop charges less than what these guys charge. On the other hand, they were crazy fast. One of if not the fastest oil changes I've gotten. 20 minutes tops, and I was out of there. So I'll start by saying that they did take my car and have my car in and out quickly. HOWEVER, I went in because I needed an oil change and my tire pressure light had come on. I let the woman know this and she said that they would fill the tires. She then proceeded to go through a long list of things that I "needed" to have done (e.g. $49.99 to change my cabin air filter). My quote ended up being $193. Umm, no. I asked her to remove everything besides the oil change and tire rotation. Fast forward to when I'm being rung up: the guy lets me use my $10 off coupon, and tells me all of the things that they did for my car (top offs, vacuuming, filling tires etc.), and he proceeded to tell me that the tire rotation was not done because my tires were good. So I asked if my tires were good why my tire pressure light was on. He said it was probably the spare. He told me they filled my tires all to 32 PSI. He walks me to my car, the tire pressure light is still on. I'm stressing out, thinking that I need to go to the dealership to check the spare. However, I get home and check my tires, and they are ALL at 20 PSI. I filled them up myself and like magic the tire pressure light went off. I don't know if they let air out of my tires, or if they had already been like that, but either way, they told me that they had filled my tires when they definitely had NOT. Makes me wonder what else they skipped out on? I liked the Jiffy Lube on Punchbowl better. read more

Went to get an oil change at jiffy lube in town. On the way home, had a low oil light pop up then a low oil pressure alarm. Had to do emergency stop at jiffy lube pearl kai and though they were closed, a few of the workers were out back talking. They immediately opened the shop back up and trouble shot the problem. Guys were really helpful, personable, and apologetic. Thank you so much Nathan, Marc, Stan, and the rest of the crew for taking care of us! After my ordeal at Midas yesterday, I took my car here and in addition to the safety check, decided to do the oil as well. I asked how long it would take for both of those things when I dropped it off and she said 30. I was out the door in 21 minutes! April 2, 2014 I went to this Jiffy Lube to have my car serviced about 11:30 a.m that included an oil change and safety check. I was told they were busy but it should be done in about an hour. Two hours later, they finally finished my car, not one word prior that it would take longer or an apology. When my name was finally called the guy behind the counter said thank you for being patience, I told him not really. That was when he got an attitude and told me I was lucky they passed my car's safety inspection. Then continued to berate me about my tires. Was nearby and needed my safety check done. Didn't look busy so I went in. Said they only do safety checks by appointment only and their next opening wasn't for three more days! They were so slow when I went in that at least a couple of their employees were standing around, playing on their cell phones and smoking!!! Thanks for the eye-opener. Then they failed my car because they don't know wtf they r doing and said my reverse lights don't work. When they do. Just have to have the key on. I wouldn't recommend going there. The last time I had gone to Jiffy Lube was YEARS ago, not long after they had first opened, and my experience at that time was rather unpleasant. This time, however, was the complete opposite! I was greeted warmly by the assistant manager and I explained what I needed done to my car: an oil change. He took my information and even went so far as to show me my air filter, which was still clean, and my air conditioner filter, which was almost black and needed to be replaced. I decided to have that replaced, as well. He said my car would be ready in about a half hour, so I told him that I'd be back after getting a snack. True to his word, when I came back a half hour later, my car was outside and ready to go! The friendly young lady who checked me out told me everything that had been done as she gave me my total. I was pleasantly surprised that my car interior had even been vacuumed! And to make this an even greater experience, I had $10.00 off the total because of my Yelp check-in coupon! Yay! read more

Until recently I have had good service here. This last time however the person changing the oil spilled oil all over my engine. Then parked it with oil dripping into a puddle underneath thinking I would just drive away? Also, never cleaned the windows or vacuumed even though it was checked as completed on the paperwork? I spent a good hour in the sun of the parking lot trying to clean all the oil of the engine. I will not go there again. read more

This place has terrible service! They tell you to change your air filter because it's dirty so you tell them to go ahead and change it. You pay and when you go home and check, they didn't change anything and you still have your old air filter. I Will go somewhere else next time! read more

If I could give 0 stars that's what it would be, this place has unacceptable customer service. The receptionist was very rude & when I asked about pricing she said to a fellow employee "they don't know if they get enough money." Money wasn't a problem but the person I spoke with on the phone told me it would be about $50 and after driving all the way from Waianae they said after tax about $155. First of all, when I called to request for an appointment to get a safety check, the person that I spoke to said that I don't need an appointment and I could just walk in. WRONG. I took this morning off specifically to take care of this. When I arrived, the person at the counter said that safety checks are "By appointment only", and it didn't matter anyway because the inspector is out sick. The one star is because the receptionist at least recommended another place. I figured that I might as well get my oil change since I'm there. Pulled up to the service station and waited for about 10 minutes. The other cars that arrived there about the same time were assisted almost immediately. Not sure if the other stations weren't staffed or if I needed to wait a little longer to be helped or even greeted but didn't stick around to find out. I already had a bad first impression. Word of advice: Make an appointment but also make a backup plan if in case the safety inspector calls in sick. read more

I like to wait until the last minute to get an oil change, it's just something I hate doing (just like pumping gas) So I called around and everyone for some reason was booked up for a weds so I found this place gave them a call to see how the wait was and was told it was not long at all. So I high tailed it down there to try to beat a morning crowd. Got there pulled right up to the door that says oil change they took my information and I went and sit in the waiting area. Literally like 10 mins later they were done. It was just that fast. Now when I had given them my information they quoted me a price and I am assuming they go by of course make and model of the car or truck you have and it tells them what type of oil how much oil etc. So I was quoted 83 bucks for an oil change. First off I have never paid so much for an oil change in my life but then again I have never owned a camaro until now either. So it does require the more costly oil. After they gave the keys to the front desk she called me to the front and told me how much it was. It was way off the mark from the 83 dollars in which I was quoted! I ended up paying 122 (because they do military discounts of 7 dollars) for an oil change! Not sure if this is the norm for oil changes and camaros ( I may need to call around and plan better next time) but there was a little bit of shock to say the least. But other than the costly oil change service was great in and out in a flash. read more

Don't let the bad reviews scare you. I've been here a few times to get an oil change for my husband's truck and they've always been great. Maybe we've been lucky. They have always been fast and their customer service, awesome. I'll start bringing my car there for oil changes too. Yes, traffic sometimes blows in the area, but we have to support the businesses who have no choice in the matter. Anyway, there are lots to do in the area, if the wait is long. I could've gone to any of the other places from Kapolei to Aiea, but I drove down to this particular establishment because of their excellent service. An added benefit is the air conditioned wait room with complimentary coffee, tea, and water with a tv. When they go over the service and the checklist, the vacuuming, window cleaning, topped fluids and such are always a nice surprise. I always never expect it because, let's be real here, I went in for an oil change... those are complimentary! Nice touch, Jiffy Lube! read more

I have been here three times and the lady that works there is really rude. She's always yelling at the customers and is really unprofessional. My friends called in before and talked to her and she made it really hard for them. I also paid for a new filter and right after the "new installments" I checked and it looked like it has been used. It was dirty with grass in it. The only thing that was good from my last visit was that the manager (Roland) helped us out because she couldn't. Never going back there again though. I went to Jiffy Lube today and I needed an oil change and a safety sticker. First and foremost, I come to this Jiffy Lube because I enjoy the people here. Some people are more efficient than others, but all around a good ohana. When I pulled up and inquired about a Safety Inspection--the guy replied its gonna take 2 hours!!! I was a bit surprised--he said that their are at least 5 cars that need to be inspected. While I was waiting for my oil change, I approached Issiah who did my inspection last year. I asked him what time he pau hana, he said 3pm. I asked him if he had time to do my inspection before he pau, he said "yah". Now remind you Issiah finishes in an hour... I was very appreciative, because I didn't want to have to go to another place. Effective "YES" also want to say that Issiah is by far a hard worker... Thank you Issiah for your assistance today. Also, Leimomi she is AWESOME!!! I noticed that she is the Assistant Manager, well deserved position. She was very helpful making sure their was enough air in my tires. Another big mahalo to FLO who assisted me at check out. He had great customer service skills, efficient, and polite! These are the main reasons why I go back to Jiffy Lube!!!!
