Arrived at location to facilitate an inspection as required by UBER. This location was one of many listed on the UBER app as free. Asked attendant if he performed UBER imspections and he replied yes. Presented him with the form and instructed. At no time was it mentioned that there was a cost associated with the imspection. Upon completion, we were presented with a bill for $79.98 (2×$39.99). We indicated to him that there should be no cost. He indicated that Uber would reimburse us for the charged. Reached out to Uber and they indicated that they would not. This establishment failed to inform us that there would be a charge which would have allowed us to seek services from another location. Very poor communication on their part. read more

I feel compelled to write my first Yelp review in over two years after my visit to this Jiffy Lube location this evening. I arrived at 6:34pm and was greeted by Brian. Brian was extremely pleasant and greeted my girlfriend and I warmly. I asked him if it was too late for a quick oil change and he said they were open until 7:00pm and they would be able to provide service for me. My girlfriend and I exited my car when another employee (didn't catch his name) approached us and said they wouldn't be able to service my car because he had "a lot of processing to do" prior to leaving foe the evening. I'm assuming this employee was the Lead/Supervisor. He then said they reopen at 8:00am the next day and to come back then. Unfortunately, I work the next day and it's the holiday season so I needed to squeeze in this oil change whenever I could fit it in. I find it completely unacceptable that they refused to provide service nearly 30 minutes before the location closed. This was simply a situation where the Lead/Supervisor didn't want to work and was bring lazy (could there be any other reason why I was denied service?). This was the first time I visited this location. I normally go to the Lincoln/Sunkist location in East Anaheim where they have always provided outstanding service and they always place an emphasis on providing excellent customer service. I highly recommend bringing your cars to that location as opposed to this one. I work in the service industry and I can't imagine ever denying service to a customer over 20 minutes before closing time. This is something that needs to be looked into and the behavior should definitely be corrected. read more

My car was already up for maintenance and been going to many Jiffy Lube locations where the service has been impeccable thus far but this is the 1st time at this location. It wasn't a busy day which was perfect so I was immediately taken in. They were cordial by greeting me at my car and were openly honest that they were unable to take card due to their service being down but advised another close location that can assist to ensure I was taken care of. Luckily there was an ATM very close by so I figured to save myself the trip and just withdraw then stay at the same location. John was the gentleman who assisted me and provided a thorough update on what my car needed. He was able to let me know about my battery issues which I wasn't aware of and advised what I should do. He was honest and not pushy on what should be done while I was here which I appreciated. He still offered a discount due to the inconvenience of not being able to take card which I humbly appreciate. Would absolutely recommend for your car to get maintenance here! read more

I went in for a simple oil change and there was nothing jiffy about it. They checked in two young female customers at least 15 minutes after I had been checked in. They completed the other customers oil changes and sent them on their way. I was still waiting. When I inquired as to when my car would be ready, I was told they were a little backed up. That was a lie because when I arrived I was second in line. I was there almost two hours. They also punctured a hole in my windshield washing reservoir which resulted in a repair bill of over $300.00 from my mechanic. This was absolutely the worst service I have ever received at a Jiffy Lube! read more

Warning. Scammers. Came here because I bought their Groupon. When I go there they wouldn't take it. Nor would they let me pay the difference for what they quoted me. Then after waiting, they told me that the price would be $50 more than what they quoted. So the end price was $150 more than what I originally thought I'd pay and about double what I usually pay at Valvoline. UPDATE: and their comment to me below makes no attempt to deal with the main issue, which is that they use Groupon to lure you in and then refuse to let you use it. Then you have to go through a difficult process with Groupon where you may or may not get your money back. I'll be contacting corporate for both companies. These sorts of deceptive practices can NOT be allowed to fester! Expect better from a national brand like Jiffy Lube! read more

Got there at 3:25 on Sunday (they close at 4pm) and they didn't want to take my car for a regular/synthetic oil change. I thought their oil changes take 15-20 minutes, you would think 35 minutes before close is more than enough time. Guess they didn't want my business. Saw them turn away another car right after me. So I came in for an oil change the other day and little did I know that jiffy lube cleans headlights, not only did Omar explain to me how they get cleaned and how much of a difference it could make he also offered a warranty on the job. I've only taken my car to this Jiffy lube a couple times but man oh man do they know how to treat a customer. Excellent customer service from the moment you park your car until you get back on the road with your ride. John has helped me out twice now and he knows his stuff. They let me know it was a 2 hour wait for an oil change, which is fine I came at a busy time. To my surprise it was done in an hour! Cesar, the manager, was extremely nice and had amazing customer service. He made sure I was aware of the price prior to the oil change. He even called me to let me know my car was almost done. This is a great jiffy lube. They have excellent service and a great team. The waiting area has coffee, water, and some magazines, however my wait has never exceeded 20 minutes for an oil change (drop-in). No appointment needed. They also vacuumed and wiped my windows. Every other Jiffy Lube I have gone to has been pleasant and extremely helpful. This location however, has ruined their second chance. I was so disappointingly upset the first time, and now a second time. The guy that communicated with me this second time seemed careless at one point, by placing my car keys on the windshield before he even pulled my car up to the actual work station. As a result of him bringing up entirely new issues regarding my car, I felt pressured into buying the cheapest thing he offered. They did not top off all of the fluids they listed on my receipt, but claimed they did; and moreover, they claimed I declined to lubricate the chassis. Read your receipts people, and make sure they list everything appropriately. It felt as though they figured I was a careless driver who was not familiar with anything regarding the basics of a car. Oh also, my car started smelling weird by the end of the day. I'm not sure what they did, but now I will have to make an appointment with my personal mechanic in order to get a diagnostic. read more

Groupon seems to be the issue here. I had a Groupon for a synthetic blend oil change - I got there just after noon, and I told him immediately that I had a Groupon- wow. All of a sudden I was blown off -I was told their "voucher reader" was down - come back tomorrow! Really? I promptly drove to the other location on Lincoln - and he keyed in the Groupon voucher (which of course worked flawlessly!). First thought- I like Jiffy Lube Next thought - Ball Rd wouldn't make as much on a Groupon so - instead of manually keying in the voucher? Nope - it was just too much work. So Lincoln Ave got the biz. Final thoughts? Groupon - and their merchants - really need to treat Groupon users with the same courtesy given "tariff" customers. Second final thought - The Ball Rd location needs to regain their customer service mojo - it's harming the brand, you know? Third final thought - look, I'll go to Jiffy Lube again, due to years of goodwill that was earned. But damn - get your stuff together, Jiffy Lube- at all locations, please. read more

The worst... this time supposedly the threading in my oil pan broke and now I'm stuck here having to replace it.... nice way to force me into buying a new one when I've only had my oil changed here and clearly you stripped the threading because this shouldn't need to be replaced except from careless oil changes and tightening too tight or using wrong size socket! Now going on 2 hours of waiting when I came for a simple oils change... and out an extra $50! It's always an issues at this place... only return because it's nearby but I'll drive a hundred miles to never deal with them again! Arrived Saturday 11-9-19 Assistant manager gave terrible service and attitude thru entire process, so bad I refused service I spoke with tony the manager and requested a district manager call because tony clearly supported his assistant managers behavior. Omar was money!!! Only 18 yet professional and ice water in his veins Kid was very respectful, humble and hungry. Hungry not just for customer service but customer satisfaction. Only critique i have was he forgot the oil change mileage reminder but i had to rush bc of a dinner i had to make it to, my fault, not his Had my transmission pan done at the La Habra Jiffy and was good at showing me why my oil was so low, engine pan is leaking. But showed me the work done by La Habra and poor job on the siliconed around my "new" transmission gasket, c'mon La Habra! If I could this place wouldnt even recieve 1 star. This by far was my worst expierence ever at a jiffy lube. They are franchises so dont expect if you have a problem to get any kind of resolution. I took my car in for a simple oil change what turned into them trying to upsale (typical) which turned into when I wanted my refund them messing with me. One employee used the f word the others laughed and told me I didnt know what I was talking about. It kept going and eventually I was in tears. Nothing changed until my husband had to get involved.
