The mechanics at this particular Jackie Jiffy Lube are Ace mechanics. The most polite, conscientious people that you will find in the automotive repair business. I went down the street to the competition and they wanted me to wait for an hour and a half because nobody wanted to work there. There was the same number of people at the Jiffy Lube as there was down the street and the Jiffy Lube guys had me on the lift before I could open Facebook. They got me in and out of there in 15 minutes and that was no easy task since my car has skid plate that is rather difficult to remove and replace. I'll be back! read more

DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS LOCATION! I've been a loyal Jiffy Lube customer for years, this was my first time coming to this location and I will never go back because of the manager, Brodi. I went to get an oil change, there were 3 cars in front of me waiting but we had already driven there so decided it was worth waiting. The manager, Brodi, came out and asked what year the car was, we told him a 2020 and he said, "Ok good, we have your filter, if it was a 2021 then we wouldn't have had your filter". We ended waited for 90 minutes just to get into the bay, and we saw another gentleman on a phone and couldn't figure out what the hold up was. Turns out, they didn't have my filter and he was calling around trying to find one nearby. I appreciate his help but if the manager had just told us that originally then we wouldn't have wasted 90 minutes of our time. The gentleman who was trying to help us apologized and said he call the manager back up since he told us he had our filter originally. Brodi (the manager) came up and said "I didn't tell you we had your filter, I told you we might have it", which was a complete LIE! Then my husband said, "No you said you had it, we wouldn't have waited if you didn't have it, why didn't you check that when you asked what year the car was? We've been sitting here for 90 minutes". Then Brodi got really defensive and rude and said "That's not my job, my job is to manage the shop". If you're the manager how is that not your job?!?! Your job is to manage EVERYTHING that goes on there. Then he rudely said "If you don't like how we're running things here then you can LEAVE and motioned us out". He should not be a manager, there are so many better ways he could have handled it, he didn't even apologize for wasting so much of our time. Worst Jiffy Lube ever! I got in for an oil change and I was the only car there, I asked if I could get an oil change they said yes, they asked me to Go inside and started to work on the oil change without asking me what type or anything, the manager was inside the office with another woman he didn't even acknowledge I came in, I sat there for a good 30 minutes and then the manager hands me a ipad and rudely asks me to fill my information "for my ticket" I tell him I have a Coupon and he says oh yeah what coupn you have and I said I have for both the synthetic and conventional I ask him what oil did they do, he doesn't even know what oil they put in my car but he was already ready to charge me for synthetic oil change, turns out it was conventional and they had to do the change all over again- no apology for the manager, super rude and defensive guy with a lollipop in his mouth - I have never been treated like this anywhere, will never be coming back, He then proceeded to berate his workers for not asking me what oil, I would give 0 stars if I could only for this sorry ass manager. read more

I don't normally post bad reviews but I would avoid this location! I am currently at another Jiffy Lube getting my oil drained and refilled because too much oil was added at the Parmer Lane location which caused my car to jolt and if left undiagnosed would have caused serious damage to my car! I thought something else was wrong and took it to a mechanic who then pointed out to me that my car had twice the amount of oil it should have and that was causing the jolting. The guys at the other location I went to were nice and took care of everything free of charge. Parmers GM did offer to take care of it if I brought the car back but after paying for the original oil change and then having to pay a diagnostic fee later to take it in to Austin Automotive Specialists I decided I will never have services done at the Parmer location. The employees there were nice but obviously weren't paying attention to the oil level which is kind of the whole point of getting your oil changed. read more

My son took his car to get an oil change at Jiffy Lube on Pamer. When done he drove the car home and when he popped the hood of his car, he had oil covering the inside of the car. When my son contacted Jiffy Lube, they did not take responsibility for what was done. Jiffy Lube sent out their people to look at the car but said nothing was wrong and the car was fine yet and still the car was undrivable. My son and I have made countless calls to Jiffy Lube and have heard nothing in return. When they did the oil change, they did it from the top of the car but when my son asked someone in corporate, they said they do not change the oil on top of the car. They have given us the run around for about a year and have done nothing. I know it has been a long period of time, but you know what life happens. My son has not driven the car in a year. When taken to the shop I was told that it would take 8000.00 dollars to fix. To see so many reviews online about the damages that Jiffy Lube has gotten away with. To take advantage of people and think it is okay. If you have had your oil changed at Jiffy Lube and they have done a good job, I am happy for you but for those who have had damages done beyond repair I understand your frustration and anger. Jiffy Lube fu**** up my son's car and will not take responsibility for their f*** up. Do not take your car to this Jiffy Lube they are very unprofessional and can lie their asses off about what they feel they didn't do or cause. They were having their All Day Manager Special of $10 off your oil change. I did not realize that included cleaning my windows with a Hershey bar!! I did not notice it when I drove away because my windows were down in the front. I rolled them up as I hit MO PAC and WTF!!! I do blame myself for not doing the once over like I always do. Shame on me. Ouch! Okay I struck myself. Now I need to go back to Jiffy Lube after work and have them de-Hershey my windows. I don't get it...I guess one guy did the Front and Rear windshields and the Candyman did the windows. Maybe I should just shut my face and pick up some marshmallows and graham crackers. Went here for an oil change and tire rotation. I was taking a long road trip from Austin to Phoenix, AZ (~1000 miles) and I needed my car to be in good shape. They tried to sell me all these other services, insisting that my car reeeeally needed them, but I just ignored them. My car is only 1.5 years old and in very good condition. I just needed the basic services. Well, I thought all was fine and dandy and left the shop with my car. The next day I'm driving down MoPac and my steering wheel is shaking really badly and it never had before. I took the car back to Jiffy Lube and found that someone did not properly screw on the small black cap after they checked the air in my tires and the front driver-side tire was completely flat. I'm sorry, but that is total incompetence and could've caused an accident or worse. And I check my own damn tire pressure anyways, just give me the oil change and let me go. If they could do something that stupid, I just worry what other "mishaps" could occur when they're working on my car. It could be something worse next time and somebody could get hurt or my car could be damaged. I won't go back here. read more

I went here because I had a coupon to get an oil change for $19.99. I don't care how cheap it was, it wasn't worth it and I will NEVER go back. They tried to get me to purchase all of these other options I didn't need and I had to keep insisting that I just wanted the oil change. They even called me out of the waiting room to show me something else, but I resisted. As part of the coupon, the oil change was supposed to include vacuuming my car, washing the windows and topping off my fluids. According to my receipt, these things were completed, but when I got in the car nothing had been done. If I hadn't been so creeped out by the employees I would have gone back inside to let them know, but I decided it just wasn't worth it. I don't recommend this place at all. This was my second visit here and both times I've come away feeling cheated. My advice is stay away! read more

I got my oil changed over a month ago and I really appreciated their fast service. I think the price was pretty good overall as well. I thought they did a good job and no major complaints. I went in the other day because my car was leaking something and just asked if they could take a look and let me know if I need immediate service. They said no problem and quickly looked and diagnosed the problem! I was in and out in less than 15 mins and they checked all my other car fluids as well! read more

I went into this Jiffy Lube at 7am on a Saturday after I left a dealership pretty much laughing when they told me they had to do 200 dollars worth of testing on my car, then another 300 for repairs just depending on what was wrong. My AC unit wasn't working correctly, either because the freon was too low or something similar because it would blow out air just fine and there were no errors. I actually didn't know Jiffy Lube did anything for AC until I called my mom and asked her what else to do. So I roll up and they tell me it'll be about 30 minutes to get in there and look. After the 30 minutes, the young man helping me comes over and says that they believe there is just too much pressure in the system, probably from dust buildup. He also says that because they aren't sure, they will refund me should the problem reoccur in a week. So pretty much they fix it and it only costs $150, or its free and I take it somewhere else. You can't beat that. 5 weeks have gone by and my AC still works just fine. Thanks guys! read more

He gathered my information, showed me the waiting room and assured me I would be out in no time. He was right. Both Jason and Tony serviced my SUV and had it ready to go in under 15 minutes. They were fast, efficient, informative, and above all, they were friendly gentlemen to do business with. Working in the retail business, I am big on good customer service and interaction. Having the opportunity to witness this in addition to cracking some jokes with the two guys was a great way to start my day. Thank you, Jason and Tony! Really horrible experience here - currently waiting for my vehicle which was already supposed to be done. Now they're telling me "another 20 minutes, tops." After having the car for 20 minutes they called me into the garage to try to upsell me on more expensive oil after I had already explicitly explained I wasnt interested. I reiterates that I was in a hurry. They said they would get a bunch of people on it. I went to the window five minutes later to see no one working on it. One of the guys THEN came in to say "There's a bunch of stuff in your floorboard, should I just throw it away?" WHAT!? No! Do my oil change and my tire rotation and give me my car back! Wanted to leave a review since I had such a good experience there in terms of customer service. The workers were really quick in getting my car inspected and Chris went well beyond his duty. I apparently needed different insurance as my state was one of the few that was accepted in Texas and as my phone was dead, he allowed me to borrow his to setup my Texas car insurance. He waited until I had a print out of my insurance and was able to do my car inspection quickly after. read more

Like seriously? they said they don't have the right tools to fix it.. First of all, train your people before you put them on work they obviously don't know what the hell they are doing.... And I remember they asked me if I want to have a new filter but I know my ac filter is not that dirty yet so I said maybe nextime, and guess what, they didn't put back my old filter so I was running my car for months not having my filter until I took my car in the dealer shop... A+ Visited twice. Guys are nice and make the need for repairs, or lack there of, super transparent. Cabin filters, fluids, etc, all shown over course of visit in some fashion (filters removed from SUV, fluid spread across surface to show color/cleanliness).
