I take all of my fleet vehicles (7) to have them serviced at this jiffy lube. Always get greeted promptly and receive speediant service. Usually in & out. I even trust these guys with my personal vehicle and my wife's. I know that if they suggest a service it's needed and not just trying to make an extra buck. Stop here, I always ask for Travis. Nicest rep there and truly a class act. Hard to beat jiffy lubes price and when they have a great staff you have to wonder how other places have made it so long in Austin. They are efficient and the quality is good, but it's pricey. I got high mileage oil and my oil change ended up being $70+. That just isn't in my budget, unfortunately. If you just need regular grade oil or if you don't mind spending a little extra, I'm sure it's worth it. read more

I was in need of an oil change and had noticed that there was steam/smoke coming out from the hood of my car. They checked that and let me know that my radiator was cracked. Even gave me tips on how to fix it! Really put my mind at ease, because it's not a big fix with a huge cost. That was something I was worried about. All while being really cool and friendly. Come in today for a inspection, was told it would be about a hour to get it done. I went inside and wait a full hour before someone came to tell me their machine hasn't been working and someone from the state has yet to be out there to fix it. Talk about a waist of time!! My car was pulled up in line behind a car that took an extremely long service time which I understand, however... my car sat behind that car for 90 minutes before it was even touched while 3 other cars were driven through the other bay and worked on- all who arrived after me. I got an oil change a few months ago and they did not fill the coolant (although they said they did) and did not replace the o-ring, causing a minor oil leak that could have led to major complications. The people employed here do not care about doing a good job, they only care about getting the job done as quickly as possible. Not knowledgeable at all and quick to give you a short answer without explanation to get the most money out of the service. If you ask questions, they continually divert you to answers that are only half true. The staff don't actually know much about automobiles and how they work and only know how to get a job the quickest way possible. read more

I just wanted to give a big shout out to Jiffy Lube! I went to a Valvoline Express prior to this visit and they entire messed up my vehicle by charging me MORE than Jiffy Lube and not even filling the valve to an operational level. So, I went to Jiffy Lube to see why my oil light has been on even though I received an oil changed 2 weeks ago. They fixed another company's mistake for free! They were incredibly kind and overtly competent. I'll never go elsewhere again. read more

I have had my oil changed at this location 3 times before today. I had actually gone to the jiffy lube location in Georgetown on williams drive last week to get it changed because its near my house. They were unable to do it because they broke their tool trying to get off the oil filter because it was put on too tight. I change my own oil on my chevy and it doesnt have to be just wrenched on there. Quarter, half inch turn past tight. I get it. So had to take it back to this Guadelupe location and told them what happened and the 1st guy was very nice. Then here comes the manager, who i have dealt with before. He is the one who has always taken my payments and discussed the oil choices with me and i never recall him being rude or pushy, nor impressive. Until i came in with this problem. Now all of a sudden the manager tells me its going to be 108.00 for the recommended oil change. The first 2 oil changes i got were $50 and the last one i got in november was $30 (My mistake for not keeping reciepts) And he raised his voice at me stating "no mam nope you did not. Not unless someone was giving you the hook up". I asked if the system kept a record and he said nope. I went ahead and had the oil change done because another shop already had me come back here because they put it on too tight and because i was already over on mileage but i will never come back to this location. And if something does go wrong with my engine, you can't convince me that this guy with his ill mannered bad attitude and total inability to deal with a minor situation, didn't do something on purpose to injure my vehicle. read more

I've been to 3 other Jiffy Lube locations, here in Austin, and this is the location I've returned to 4 times. The workers are always so fast, and incredibly friendly. They always inform me of changes I need to make in the future, and of any promotions they may have at the moment. I was out of there within half an hour. Any add-ons they think I should make, they explain to me and tell me the price ahead of time. read more

Stay far away, they charged me almost $100.00 for a full synthetic oil change, didn't tell me the upfront cost before they did the work, and that was in the morning for their early bird special. I have never paid that kind of money for an oil change. Will never do business there again. Plus they charged me labor on top of the oil change, never seen anything like it in my life. An oil change should be x amount, that's it,no bull shit charges on top of bull shit prices. If you want to charge for those bull shit prices add it in with one lump sum for all charges. I just left there. The manager spent nearly forty five minutes showing me how to change my own lights so I can pass inspection but save a hundred bucks in labor cost. In the process, he changed two of my burnt out bulbs for free! Then, one of his employees gaveme a tip about a good place to get used parts. That was super sweet of both of them! I only put four stars instead of five because the whole reason I was back there having a conversation about lights was because the other inspector that works there was super ambiguous and caused me a lot of frustration. They stole money out of my car! Granted $2 in quarters is not much, but it's the principle. Also, they opened my glove box and went through it's contents... I could tell because a few of my glove box items were under my seat after I left. All they had to do was vacuum inside, not go through all my stuff. I believe I paid waaaay too much for my oil change! And the fact that I was violated means this business is run by a bunch of unethical people. I will never go to a Jiffy Lube again! I've been taking the same truck to this location and occasionally the one on N. Lamar for 16 years and never once have they had my customer records in their computer database. I literally have two of their folders stapled together which are packed to the gills with receipts from previous work I've had done there that they comb through every time I go. All these years I've chalked it up to a company with an archaic program, but there's no excuse at this point. I'm giving them 3 stars instead of two because at least today they didn't try and up-sell me on services that weren't needed and the customer service has been for the most part pleasant, so I'll give them that. read more

I personally am a big fan of Jiffy Lube in general as I am traveling around the country in my vehicle pretty often and it's nice to have the records on their system, and know exactly what to expect and what I'm paying for when I get my oil changed. Went to this location on a Monday morning around 7:15am to try to get a headstart on the day's errands - perfect timing! The attendant and manager was fast, efficient, and really knowledgeable, providing great service. It seems there has been a change in management recently so I can't speak to how service there has been in the past, but this was a great experience. He told me everything I needed to know without trying too hard to upsell me on things I didn't need, which I appreciated. I was in and out of there in about 20 minutes. The waiting room was clean, which is something else I appreciate. I will be returning next time I need an oil or battery change, etc., and will be taking advantage of their free tire pressure check ups. read more

They were very helpful when my battery died. They went out of their way to get the special battery my car needed and have everything installed in a timely fashion. They also stayed late to make sure everything was working perfectly. I will for sure use them again! 10/10 would recommend! I called while I was heading out the door and they said it was a 25 minute wait for a state inspection. I drove down there which took a total of 5 minutes and then the wait is suddenly 45 minutes to an hour. Additionally, there was nowhere to sit and the people who work there are rude. I decided to go to Jiffy Lube after reading less than stellar reviews of other local businesses, such as Groovy Lube. I have been to other Jiffy Lube locations and have always been pleased with their service and this experience was no different. Actually, this experience was better! The staff was friendly and helpful: the first man I spoke with walked me inside and offered me a glass of water. The mechanics discussed what was to be done (I asked for an oil change), discussed my options for oil, discussed with me other recommended maintenance issues but did not push them. All issues were displayed with fee estimates. The woman who assisted me at the desk with payment was friendly, held the door open for me and walked me to my vehicle. She provided me with a customer feedback number and also her name and a card for the business if I had any other issues. I was in and out in less than twenty minutes. The business is clean and while I was there, the employees checked around to make sure trash was cleaned up, etc. I was very impressed by this experience and would recommend this location to any person in need of an oil change! read more
