The number of staff needs to improve badly , next time you guys wash/wipe my windows pay attention to how you wipe ppls windows cause now I have streaks on my front drivers window I can barely see thru because it's smeared. You guys need to pay attention to ppl when they tell you the tire air pressure light came on and you don't check the tires to see if a nail is in them if something so I'm driving off from work this morning an the light comes back on an it has nothing to do with my oil . Tried this place out because they are more local than where I normally go. Pretty casual oil change spot, so why not? I'm not upset with the work that was done. The work was good. I'm more bothered with customer service. Just because I'm lazy and don't do my own oil changes, they talk to me like I don't know what's going on. I commute! 2 months ago I got everything flushed, cleaned and refilled. Came in for an oil change and they say my transmission fluid needs changing etc. etc. i told him I just had everything changed and he said it's dark and shows me and tells me it's suppose to be brown. (Anybody who knows good transmission fluid is more amber/reddish). Anywho... The upsell continues and I deny. Their oil is more expensive, they claim to quote me the wrong price for the air filter "after the purchase" oh & speaking of purchase.... Buddy decided to SIGN HIS SIGNATURE ON MY DAMN RECEIPT! I DID NOT APPROVE! I found out the full price after it was all paid for by me and approved by him! I asked "why is the price like this" he tells me to call Corporate! Lol okay.. i said, "you know what man just let me pay and leave." He hands me the receipt and said "oh I signed for you already!" Lol... boy did I bite my tongue! Dropped my car off for an oil change and waited at the cafe across the parking lot. My notification that my car was read was a male yelling "hey girl" at me repeatedly. At the very least use my name if you're going to yell at me. Calling my phone or simply walking 15 ft across the parking lot are also preferable options. While paying I was also asked if I had a boyfriend or husband to check my oil levels for me. I will definitely take their recommendation and have anyone else check/work on my car. read more

Got my oil changed, next day the engine light went on and car engine block started to shake. Engine light came on the next day, so I took it to a dealership. They ran the codes and it said there was too much air vs gasoline. Maybe they started my truck while the filer was off? They also took all my tires off my truck to rotate the tires before checking the inside tread. After 20-30 min trying to get the truck tires off, lifted, and tires back on, they said there was no tread and they couldn't rotate them. No harm no foul, but just reach your fingers on the tire and feel it before you go through all that work? Long story short, had to pay the dealer $200 to check the truck. My oil change ended up costing me $320. Be aware, watch them when they work. Other than this issue and the oil on the side of my truck from leaning into the hood, I guess my oil still got changed so that's good? read more

Um, no... I go to these guys when I MUST but maybe now never again. They did a complete oil change and safety check etc... all good... THEN when they were done!! DONE... showed me the white foamy oil sludge in my oil cap and tube (indicating a sure cracked head or blown head gasket)... Thanks guys. I could have just driven to my actual mechanic and had him do the REAL work, and saved the cash I just literally threw away having to pay you for your inability to be engaged and check things and use your eyes. The guy who spotted the sludge... 5 stars. Everyone else... ZERO stars. As if that wasn't enough; on my other car they wanted to "bleed" my brake fluid because of how dirty it was, all good but they don't do brakes, so WHY??? Obviously its from brake dust indication need for a brake job. I said no... THEN they charged me $30 for an $11 air filter... No. Never again. Theres a reason you don't work for a real mechanic... BTW when you have a backup camera and an after market license plate with said camera on it, the stock lights are disengaged because it has a perfectly fine LED lighting system for the license plate... Rookies. And to update, I took my vehicle to my actual mechanic (A 5 star Yelp mechanic) and he just laughed and tested my brake fluids; said they were not only good to go and clean but this is not the first time Jiffy Lube had pulled an up sell on a customer for ZERO mechanical reason! I will NEVER go back here. They are definitely not engaged and most likely actually incompetent of diagnosing anything at all. Even their regional manager reached out to me privately and his stated name was different from his Yelp moniker... So, lack of attention to details is a cultural issue with Jiffy Lube. Awesome group of guys here. Friendly, polite, and excited when they get to drive a stick shift. I only came in for an oil change, as the place I had been using changed ownership, and they began cutting corners, not not draining the oil completely and telling me I needed services I didn't. (Just because I am female doesn't mean I don't know cars). One of my favorite shows is Top Gear, I have driven on race tracks, I know how to scrub in tires, and I know what an IACV is. Pros: They know what they are doing and they give a full inspection - you can watch them. They report findings to you and let YOU decide what you want to do. I haven't had them try to up-sale me something I don't need (engine-flush BS) Free water, tea or coffee. The guys are all professional and seem happy to be there. Cons: Wait time. 2 hours for an oil change. Didn't fully connect an air hose. To their credit, the next day when I was having idle issues, I brought it back and spoke with Kevin, who took my car for a spin - then checked and found the connection problem and reattached. He guaranteed, if I was still having issues the next day or later that day to bring it back and he would do a full inspection to check over anything they touched or could have jostled by mistake. Pleased to announce, I didn't have to. Would have been a 5 star review except for that. Big thanks to Kevin, Luis, and Ryan. Christopher - check your work. Jiffy Lube ... how about Iffy Lube? One word to start things off: AVOID! A simple oil change at this business turned into a complete disaster. The day after the service was completed we were accelerating onto the freeway (the first major strain on the engine) when there was an extremely loud BANG from the front-end followed by the sound of something bouncing between the highway and the vehicle 's underbody. Every warning light on the dash suddenly came on and I looked behind us to notice a small white cylinder bouncing along the freeway followed by a black substance we now appeared to be trailing. I managed to get the car to the side of the road and called a tow truck. (Un?)luckily we were only a exit from Jiffy Lube (or, as we now call it "the scene of the crime"). After a harrowing 45 minutes on the freeway a tow truck scooped us up, noting we were missing an oil filter along with all our oil (which had now coated a better part of 780). Once the tow truck dropped us off the real fun began. The manager blamed our little mishap on a "defective part". No refund for the oil change was offered, nor was any compensation given for the tow truck or endangering our lives. Do not take your vehicle to a place that can't even screw on an oil filter correctly all-while treating your safety with a "how can I get out of this" attitude. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. read more

They did my oil change and I was out by 6! They let me know i didn't need my tires rotated, but I should do it at there next visit. They let me know I was due for new tires. I was low in coolant and topped it off as well as everything else. They vacuumed my floors! They cleaned my windows. The most impressive part of my experience was interacting with the manager Kevin. He was smart, informative on my automotive needs, and really nice. Jiffy Lube is my go to place now. read more

Was thrilled with my visit! Bought a used truck not knowing what to expect of it's previous service. The team was amazing! They thoroughly went through everything on the vehicle and I ended up getting all fluids replaced. Finally getting around to write this review... Let me preface by saying that I was the last car they worked on before close, so I understand that the staff was in a hurry to clock out and go home. That being said, I was still astounded by their lack of professionalism and expertise. I paid over $100 for an oil change and declined the window washing and vacuuming -- even though they were included with my service -- because I knew they were tired and in a rush to go home. Throughout my service -- which they completed while I was in my car -- they complained and kept coming to my window to ask if me I wanted them to complete certain tasks... The real kicker was when one employee asked if I wanted them to take a look at my oil filter... Of course I said yes, but after about 5 minutes of looking under my hood and he came back to the driver's side window and said they don't have the tools to remove my filter. I have a 2014 For C-Max Energi, and I have never had this issue arise before... How are you an established business that "specializes" in oil changes and you don't have the tools to remove an oil filter? If you are looking to get your oil changed consider looking elsewhere because their current staff is incompetent. read more

My company has an account for for vehicle maintenance on their vehicles. So I have gone their several times and my most recent visit was not the best. I was told that the air was checked and one of my tires was 10 psi under than other 3. Also when I arrived I advised them that I had a rear brake light was out and I was told that the whole rear door had to be taken out to change the light. That was not the case. I had to take it to another jiffy love and they were able to replace the brake light and they did not have to take out the door to replace the light. Attention to detail needs to improve. read more

My tire pressure light has been acting crazy for a week now and I was passing through a Jiffy Lube thinking "they always have good service so I'll ask them for help". A woman with long blonde hair greeted us with a smile and was more than happy to help us. Ed showed up just a few seconds later and found out that one of our tires had way too much air. I chose them over Big O Tires on my last oil changes/rotations due to Big O being dishonest, doing shoddy work, and taking far too long (over 4 hours one day for an oil change and rotation, plus a scam spiel about how my struts were blown!). I didn't make an appmt and knew the wait time would be 90-120 minutes, so I brought work and sat in the lobby, which was nice and cool. The mechanic offered a few additional high mileage maintenance services, but didn't push it when I declined, and sent me on my way. They're priced above Big O by $20+ per service, hence the 4 stars, but I'll pay a little extra for better service overall, which is what I got there. I'll update if I have any issues in the future, but for now, they've become my go-to oil change place in Benicia. read more

Just like every time I go to the dealership, I was reminded this morning when jiffy lube was the place I went. No longer! Not ever! Not in a quadrillion years! They stripped the oil plug and I didn't realize oil was leaking until the red dash light came on an hour after leaving. I was stuck. The car couldn't be driven without causing damage. Eventually, after a dealership confirmed and repaired the problem, the car was taken back to jiffy lube that same day. They wouldn't stand behind their work. They actually denied it was their mistake. It will be a cold day if I ever go back or recommend jl to others. I actually discourage others from going if I'm aware. read more
