We just came for a pre-Thanksgiving road trip oil change. These might be some of the nicest people I've met for an oil change -- after finding out we were new customers, each and every employee shouted out "Welcome!!" as we walked past. They even vacuumed our floors! The oil change took over an hour, but then again, I expected a bit of a wait so close to a holiday. There's complimentary water and coffee and tv in the waiting room, but only 6 seats. If you need a little space, walk over to Benicia Coffee Co. while you wait! If we're looking for a super fast oil change, this might not be the place. But it's a great option for Benicia folks! read more

I've been to a number of Oil Change outfits and I must say this Jiffy Lube is by far the best experience in overall service I've gotten. When you arrive they walk you in to the lounge area so you can chill, have a cup of Joe or watch TV. As it gets closer to your turn, depending on the volume of cars, an advisor goes over with you what your service options are and other things you may be interested in servicing but they never push on an up sell on things you don't need or if you can get by for next time around.. I've always received a discount coupon via email or on their website which is a big plus. In the addition to all of this, the shocker for me was they vacuumed the inside of the car and also cleaned all of the windows. I had these blotches of tree sap crap that's been stuck on my windshield for quite sometime now and to my surprise they managed to clean it off! I was floored... I waited 40 minutes in my car just to be checked in. No one was ahead of me, only one car was being worked on, and no one updated me on the wait or what was going on at any point. There were many people who seemed not to be doing much of anything while I was waiting. Not sure what was going on, but I probably won't be back after this visit. Uh, how many times to I have to say NO? I have been going to Jiffy Lube for over 20 years. I am trying to think back to when they were just a basic oil change service. Now it seems like there main goal is to get every little dollar out of you. Do you want upgraded oil? Do you want the upgraded filter? Do you want your fuel system cleaned? $49.99 just for putting a fuel system cleaner in your gas tank. The service people were nice, but they were very "scripted". I am not sure if I will return. I just want a basic, no-frills oil change and it doesn't seem like I can get that anymore without saying NO over and over again. Sales pressure a bit extreme. I take my car to the mechanic to have other things done. I long for the days of a $30 oil change with no frills. read more

Great oil change station location right off the 780. For what it is worth, this is the quickest Jiffy Lube I have ever visited. The guys here are efficient, quick, and honest. The last being the most important since dishonest mechanics are a dime a dozen in this industry. I never got the sales pitch feeling and when he pointed out that I might want to have my mechanic check my serpentine belt for replacement, I knew he wasn't attempting to upsell. Pepboys had told me earlier this year that I had to get it replaced so I knew it was not a sneaky statement and just a confirmation that a problem already existed. I ordered the conventional oil change and he honored my Groupon for $5 off, so total out the door was approx. $45. I was in at 9:00 am and they had my car finished in less than 20 minutes. They have me as a loyal customer moving forward! read more

The staff at this location goes above and beyond. If you have a child with you they get to pick a toy (I'm not talking small cheap toys I'm talking decent large toys) from a big bucket. With every oil change (I believe) you can come in and get your fluids checked for free. I 100% recommend this location!!! read more

Can't really explain it. But service here was amazing. The people are very very friendly and quick and even offer suggestions on Oil, (as if I even know the difference) It literally took me only 15 mins to get my oil changed, in the end they offered me Coffee and a Bottle of water free of charge, greeted me, offered a free tire rotation, oh yeah... Pulled in for an oil change and tire rotation. First in line. I wound up needing coolant flushed as well. Fine. They said it would be an hour. No problem. It was more than two hours. I was told they ran out of coolant and needed to order more. So, rather than making me wait an additional hour and making me late for an afternoon appointment, why not just change my oil and recommend to get my coolant changed? Maybe come back later to get coolant changed? Mark did apologize, gave me a discount, and was super nice, but don't make me wait when you're out of product. read more

There is a level of distrust that most women have experienced over the years when dealing with anything automotive. We have been over-sold and preyed upon by unscrupulous types, out to take advantage of our perceived lack of automotive knowledge and our possession of lady parts. Well not anymore baby! I needed an oil change so I went to my local Jiffy Lube. I had my defenses up from the moment I left my home to the moment I drove into the driveway. I was ready to be talked-down-to and "little-lady"ed and bullied into products and services I did not want and did not understand why I needed, because that had been my experience. At best, because it was a beautiful Saturday, I expected to encounter surly service providers who would rather be anywhere else. I was immediately greeted by a youthful, efficient female who graciously invited me to wait inside and offered me coffee while she took command of my vehicle. I went into the waiting area, stunned at what had just taken place. I was further assisted by another young female who shortly after offered me choices and explained what was going on and what I needed. She even had bright polish on her short, work appropriate, nails that were chipped as if she had used them recently. I paid and got my vehicle back. This was the first time I ever walked out of an automotive service place with a smile on my face and a warm feeling of hope for the future of woman and mankind who have vehicles. As a young female who knows next to nothing about cars, I avoid the mechanic until my car almost breaks down, because I don't want to be talked into crap I don't need or be taken advantage of. But, my experience at Jiffy Lube today was so pleasant, I had to come straight home and write about it. The young man who helped me throughout my visit was friendly, straightforward and polite. After pulling my car in, I followed him though the garage where he announced to other employees, "New customer!", and the two or three guys looked up from whatever they were doing and all said hello or welcome... wow! it only took about 15 minutes, everything was explained clearly to me, and though I was offered a few extras, there was no pressure and I only had the coolant topped off with my oil change. When asked, "is there anything else we can help you with today?" I thought hmm.... I explained that my damaged vinyl soft top was a pain in the @$$ to put up and that I couldn't do it by myself. I asked if someone could do it for me. Without hesitation, the guy helping me enthusiastically agreed and I drove away with my little transformer RAV4 fully assembled and running great! I was really, really happy with this awesome customer service and I will definitely be back. read more

I'm giving it 5 stars as a Jiffy Lube. If you've never been to a Jiffy Lube... they're like super expensive fast food for cars, where they have limited oil options and they try to supersize your order with extras. You could do it yourself for a lot cheaper. You could make an appointment with your mechanic and he or she would likely do it, and possibly charge you less. But sometimes you just want to drive up to a place without an appointment and get your oil changed and have someone else dispose of your used oil. Keeping that in mind, this was a very professional, quick, and cordial Jiffy Lube. All the employees I met were friendly and knew what they were talking about. At the end, I got to review their work (oil change, tapped the filters out, topped up coolant). I was the only customer when I came in, so I can't speak for what they're like when they're busy. Open at 7:30 am - this is the best time to go and get your oil changed, transmission checked, windshield wipers changed, etc. Go around lunch or after 5 pm, expect a wait. Excellent service. Pretty fast - unless there is a wait. Complimentary bottled water or coffee (just your regular cup of joe) while you wait. Complimentary topping off of vehicle fluids between visits. Get coupon discounts online. The services also provides window cleaning, vacuuming and the checking of your tire pressure. I will return. read more

Must be change of ownership. My husband and I used to take our cars to this location, but haven't in the last few years with dealer service tossed in on our newer cars. I sent my 17 year old daughter down to "Iiffy Lube" last month with instructions to ask for a simple oil change on her little Pontiac G-3, 4 cylinder engine. She came back with a $94.00 receipt! They told her she should use synthetic oil, and jacked up the bill on a bunch of inflated extras, suggesting to her she should have them. Find somewhere else to go. read more

I would give this place a higher review, because their customer service really was awesome! I just couldn't wrap my head around their pricing. It was almost $80 for an oil change and a new air filter! I mean really? That's crazy! I understand the type of oil recommended for my car is a little bit more expensive, but even without the air filter it was still a $60 oil change. I've paid less than that at other places. To the three guys working this morning, excellent attention to detail and customer service. I went in for an oil change. Minutes after arriving, they advised me the oil drain plug was abnormally tight and attempting to force it off could lead to damage; however, during the brief time I was there.. they inflated my tires, topped of miscellaneous fluids, and other details. Good price. A little slow for me. Yelp coupon! As you can see from my reviews I live in the city however I stored my car in Vallejo for a month while out of the country. When I got back I wanted to change the oil ASAP. This was the closest location so they win! As soon as I pulled up I was immediately welcomed! Friendliness goes a long way. When the greater heard that I was new the rest of the team welcomed me. Cheesie but cool. The time it took from when I got out of my car until I got back into my car was well over one hour. Maybe I'm spoiled at my place in San Francisco but anything over fifteen minutes is strange. One hour is excessive just for oil. I understand that three stars is a low review. The wait time being excessive did play a part in my dissatisfaction but not the reason for the bad review. The main reason I'd never come back is that I was not given a price quote upfront. Long after my car had been pulled into the bay and I had been waiting over thirty minutes finally I was told the prices offered. It was a fair price but by this time I was made to feel I couldn't get my car back. Tell me the price upfront. read more

To start with they're overpriced. Take forever. Then they charged me extra to top off my coolant. I've been around oil bays for the last 20 years of my life, I have NEVER heard of charging someone extra for fluids during an oil change. Not terrible, but certainly not great. Pushy (like all Jiffy Lubes, so I won't hold it too much against them) but also incomplete. What do I mean? Twice now I've gotten my car back and it was very clear they missed basic things like filling the wiper fluid or filling a tire. read more

This Jiffy Lube makes my Boyfriend look bad. As soon as a ran over the doorbell wire, a man came running toward my car and opened my door for me (My BF doesnt do that. sadness.) He was very courteous and once they pulled my car into the shop, they were done in 10 minutes! Jiffy man did not try to haggle me into buying the best oil or many of their other services. He just told me what i needed straight up and told me what my options were. I also used my AAA membership card and got a 10% discount. *Note: I came in with a coupon that i received in the mail, from a different jiffy lube, and i couldnt use it at this location. Apparently the coupons they send you are only valid at the specific location on the coupon. I arrived there at 5:45 on a weekday, and they didn't turn me away (unlike some OTHER jiffy lubes) Once they were finished servicing my car, the jiffy man escorted me to my vehicle, opened my door (again!) and wished me a pleasant evening. i go here the past decade. There's usually good workers sometimes but by next oil change there's a new set of bad workers. When its bad the wait is long, they don't do a good job like not cleaning even though they said they did, tightening the oil pan nut too tight and stripping the threads, splattering oil all over the underneath, etc, and counter service is curt and abrupt or pushy. the place is in a small local shopping plaza near a few fast foods, coffee house, starbucks and etc. So when they say it takes 20 minutes but its really a friggin hour, i can go hang out and waste a day. read more

This is my second jiffy lube experience on Columbus and it's great every time. The estimated time they give is usually pretty accurate and they have excellent customer service. They go above and beyond and I notice. I am going to go back next week to get their names and thank them personally for my experience last time. I apologized to the young lady that was taking my information down, because my car was a filthy hot mess because I have 2 boys and a busy outdoor lifestyle. There was dirt clogs, multiple shoes for different sports, tissues and some random under armor. She picked it up off the floor and vacuumed my car. That extra little service whether usual or not helped me personally I was stressing because I didnt know where I could get my car vacuumed at. We just moved into the area. I wont forget the gentleman who replaced a cap in my car because it wasn't the right size, he also helped me find the correct coupon for my oil change. Just great employees and good people. I took my car in right before Thanksgiving for an oil change. Last week I was in stop and go traffic and smelled hot metal. I popped the hood when I got home...and the cap for the crankcase was sitting on the flat area above the wheel well. I barely had enough oil to show on the stick, and had to put in 4 quarts of oil. My engine compartment is one mass of sticky oil (on a car with less than 40k miles), I gave them a 2 star instead of one, as they seem somewhat responsive...but leaving the cap out is beyond stupid. Taking to my regular mechanic (which I should have done first....my bad) to see if any engine damage, and also getting engine steam cleaned. And they were more expensive than my regular mechanic, Adrian Radu at Milt's Service garage in Vallejo read more
