I almost never leave negative reviews -- this is actually my first -- but this experience really upset me. I went in for a simple oil change and was told they couldn't remove the oil filter cap, so they couldn't perform the service. Then I was told my car was "burning oil" and that I shouldn't be driving it. That genuinely scared me. I immediately took the car to a mechanic for a second opinion. He removed the cap in about two seconds and confirmed nothing was wrong with my car. He explained Toyotas can naturally burn a small amount of oil and that it was completely safe to drive. What bothers me is how confidently I was told something serious was wrong when it wasn't. Customers shouldn't be frightened into unnecessary worry -- especially over incorrect information. On top of that, the price quote was $117 for just the oil change, and I was told I already needed three additional services bringing the total to well over $200. My mechanic completed the oil change and those same items for a fraction of the cost. This felt misleading and unnecessarily alarming. I hope management addresses this because people trust professionals not to scare them into services they don't actually need. read more

I had a really great experience at this Jiffy Lube. Anthony was super professional and very thorough. He walked me through everything they were checking including all the lights front and back blinkers and high beams. They checked the air cabin filter and engine filter and tire pressure. The other excellent place in Burbank was filled with cars so I went here with not a car in sight ... and it was fantastic!!! Unknown gem? Perfect timing? I zoomed-in to their open back entry. The greeter was honest and straightforward in what they can and can't do (CAN: fluids // filters // rotate and fill tires // .. CAN'T: patch tires // replace tires) .. OIL CHANGE -- WITH COUPON good rate; make sure you have coupon -- took about 20 minutes including talking with them to see what else they could offer -- EXCELLENT GRADE of oil available, equiv to dealerships'. Alll types explained, my choice as to which way to go .. I used the premium. DON'T PUSH - The brilliantly knowledgeable CSA "Eileen" showed me my filters and explained what all my flashing lights on the dashboard meant ;D ..I knew, but I was impressed she knew my old car's specific requirements w/o looking it up. AND she listened to my budget needs, didn't push. I loved that. She then educated and told me the parameters I'm working with if I didn't do the filter changes there. FREE FLUID // AIR IN TIRE UPKEEP!!! - Up to 3000 miles from day of service , you can just drive thru to get your OIL / WASHER FLUID / TIRES topped-off .. no limit up to 3,000... THEY ALSO RESET MY DASH, warning me what still needs to be done. . Oddly enough not everyone outside of the dealer has been able to do that, so an extra thank you from me. Nice find! I was here in March and got oil changed. Few days later I was on my way to work and realized my oil was completely empty. They had to top of the oil and advised my oil pan cracked and sent me off with free oil change on next visit. After spending $$ to get my oil pan replaced, I came back to Jiffy few months later. Here I am today and I was advised I did not have the receipt for the free oil change the free oil change can't be honored. They do have the visit records meaning I was here for top off few days later but still they couldn't honor the promised word. My advised for yelper is to keep your paper!!! I gave Jiffy chances and but I think I will go back to small shops instead.. read more

I was nervous to get an oil change at a quick service place instead of my usual mechanic because my experience has been that they always try to upsell you a bunch of stuff that you don't need. But I was in a hurry and had no alternative. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the whole experience went - I never even had to get out of my car! And they didn't try to sell me a single extra thing. Damien and Nick both were great to deal with. Utterly disappointed. Internally raging. Hundred percent don't recommend. My parents and I, both car unsavvy, have been using JiffyLube service since 2020. Things were fine, which to us just means car is working, not dead. Thus, we were happy. It was not until recently that I personally have noticed weird noises, vibrations when stall or reversing, that I felt something was wrong. Do note that this is my parents' car, not mine, so they're the ones that drive it daily and why I didn't notice until a road trip recently. I took the car to a mechanic, just to be inform that JiffyLube might have put the wrong type of engine oil in the car; I double-checked the receipts and voila it's 5W-30, instead of 0W-20, and that it's been wrong since 2023. My bad to trust them to do their job right. What's worst to know is the engine gas cap also have the correct type of oil written and yet this still happen. To top it off, when my mechanic tried to change the oil filter after oil drainage, he found that the previous person --JiffyLube employee-- did such a shoddy job that the oil filter is stuck and cannot be removed properly. Another hour of breaking and cracking the badly screwed oil filter to properly replaced it. If you are mechanically illiterate, don't go here. If you know "cars", well, you wouldn't go here in the first place. Just don't go. If you love your car, spend your money somewhere else where they would actually do their job right. Fast? Shoddy? I went here in May 2024. Got an oil change. In November I went to another Jiffy Lube and they discovered that the protective cover for my oil filter system was missing. They said it has six screws and there's no way it fell off. Only explanation was someone must have forget to put it back on. So the only explanation could have been that this Burbank Jiffy Lube forgot to screw it back on. I was stressed out and annoyed. I called this Jiffy Lube expecting them to say basically "Sorry but there's nothing we can do / no way to prove they were the ones who removed it etc etc." Instead, Richard gave me his personal cell number and said he'll order the part and install it for me. Three days later he did. I was blown away at the level of care and service which prompted me to want to leave this review. Thank you, Richard. You may think that Jiffy Lube is a Jiffy Lube. Think again. This place is really great. Not sure if it's the management team or the staff or just both. I just went in there for a oil change. They did a fantastic job working as a team, they also brought other issues up showed me why they recommend certain things but left totally up to me. It was not high-pressure. They were just keep me in the loop and making me aware that I may have certain issues. Kudos to everyone there he has a great job. read more
