my son had his oil changed there and the jiffy lube crew forgot to install the oil fill cap oil sprayed every where i had to get car towed and inspected that cost 300 dollars and the district manager cody kidder was super cool said he would take care of bill immediately. Since that conversation i emailed him the invoice and he will not return my calls nor answer them the bill is still not paid and it has been a year very unprofessional and a rip off and your risking damage to your car by taking it there i had to have the car towed re inspected cleaned new oil i was better of doing all that without taking it to them. mistakes happen but it is how we fix our mistakes that set us apart from others there is way to many other places to go then jiffy lube if this is the kind of problems and fixes they are capable of.. would you trust your car there? no way! read more

BEWARE!!!!! They advertise $24.99 oil change then charge $79 for cars 2011 and newer! Said they require synthetic oil so reason for $55 price difference. So why does my Toyota dealership charge $33 for same oil change on same car? Why is my air and cabin filter always needing replacement AND some type of fluids needed every visit and again not at Toyota? Because Jiffy Lube is the biggest rip off! I was so mad and outraged when I found out how much they charged me for a simply oil change I learned how to do on my own. And yeah, they always call you into the office like going to get a molar pulled but, they weren't too picky and luckily the serv.tech noticed my serpintine belt was cracking. That was a big find. I was a bit leery coming here because of the negative reviews, BUT there is a NEW MANAGER (Edgar) who is FANTASTIC!! I cannot say enough great things about him, and the changes he's putting in place. This is also - because of Edgar - one of the ONLY Jiffy Lubes with 10/30W oil - which my older car requires. All the other ones have switched to cheaper 5/30W, which is not good for older engines and weaker seals. Edgar absolutely made sure everything was taken care of properly for my visit, and thoroughly checked my car. I feel like I got a mini-inspection! He did not push or upsell me, but did inform me of several issues my mechanic had either actively screwed up on or missed. I now feel like I have a clear idea of the state of my car, and a suggested plan of action to get the important things fixed properly. He also made sure I got the largest discount available for my services. Edgar is a gem. And because of him, I will DEFINITELY be back! read more

I went to 3 different places to get oil change and Jiffy lube had the best price and service here in Burbank area.

The service changes depending on who is working. I had one car serviced on Saturday and the girl that helped me was nice and respectful. The guy who opened the shop on Sunday morning was too busy just waking up and then checking his cell phone for what ever that was on it. The best part was when I was leaving. They said they checked an cleaned the windows and vacuumed the floors. As I drove off I noticed a large hand print in the middle of the front window. I think it time to try a new place. read more

I have come to this Jiffy Lube for a year now, every time I come they are extremely helpful and friendly, they typically get me in and out in about 30 mins. Typically if there are several cars in front of mine they always let me know the wait time so I can decide if I'd like to stay or come back later. I got my oil changed from this location and the customer service was great, however, about a week after I got my oil changed, I was driving on the freeway and my car started smoking. I pulled over and opened my hood to find out that the cap for the oil tank was completely off, and it had fallen down into my engine. Oil had spilled EVERYWHERE, it was a terrible and expensive mess to clean up. I've been here before without any complications, so I wouldn't say you shouldn't go to this place, but just take this as a warning as to what could happen. read more

I was told upon arival that the oil change would take 30 to 40 minutes. After being ignored for almost 20, someone finally checked me in and then said that the wait would be 40 minutes to an hour. It took two hours. I was given no updates. I felt pressured into buying a filter that I just replaced, and the maintaince light was left on in my vehicle. I can't honestly think of anything positive about my experience. I do not plan on returning to this or any jiffy lube. read more

I vowed to never go back to this place but got desperate for time, so I went. Bad choice. Didn't get my oil changed in a "Jiffy". They said 20 minutes, it turned into an hour. No big deal, I waited, didn't complain. But the place isn't efficient, at all. They always try and upsell you on expensive stuff you can do yourself. I also asked for 'regular blend oil', in a nice, clear voice.. and the gal at the register clicked synthetic and said "Synthetic? Ok, Great." No, I said Regular. I made her change it and she seems puzzled. The guys running the shop are so disorganized and joking around most of the time. One time, years ago, they brought out a leaf-laden, dirty air filter and said it was mine and that I should think about changing it. I knew it was BS because I had just changed it myself the day before via a trip to Pep Boys. It couldn't have gotten that leafy and dirty in 24 hours. No wind storms. That's the main reason I never went back to this place, until now.. and again, only because I was desperate. There is a wayyyy better oil change on Magnolia Blvd where they actually change your oil ANNNND wash your car, inside and out... for less money than what this Jiffy Lube charges. I hate tearing down a business and critiquing it to pieces but come on, this place could do so much better. read more

Took in my Audi Q5 for an oil change today. The gentleman at the shop with nice enough to squeeze me in last minute. I received a call 20 mins later that my car was ready and that they could not do the oil change due to a bolt being too tight and possibly being stripped. The employee said they didn't want to be liable. Instead they told me they topped off the oil and changed the filter without charge. Upon leaving, three miles down the road, a warning light came on saying the oil pressure was low to turn off the car immediately. At this point I started to freak out. I made it back home, but on the way home three more sensors came on including one that said the oil level was below minimum. NONE of these warning were there before I entered Jiffy Lube. Obviously the oil was not topped off or someone that was working did not know what they were doing. I rushed to the store and bought two quarts of oil. I am livid and irritated that I spent the rest of my evening trying to fix a mistake the employees here made because they either were in a rush to leave or didn't know what they were doing. The employees should not touch a car if they do not know what they are doing or cannot complete a job and they should have consulted with me before removing the oil filter. read more

Oil service was fine. What the problem was the cashier Raymel. Clearly needs training period. He gave me a receipt with someone else name address, number and different car description. He handed me the estimate with this information on it and I told him that was not me. So he said he would change it when I payed. The time came to pay, and he printed the receipt with the wrong name address and car info on it. So i told him, the info is still wrong. Mind you it said Lexus car, and I had 2 Ford Trucks - Trasit 150 getting serviced. So I told him again, I cant take that receipt with the wrong info on it as the vans being service are company vans and I need accurate info on them. So he starts breathing all hard and look so annoyed and puzzled. So he asked another staff member for assistance, and she tells him what to do on the computer and he still couldn't do it. Then he prints me a receipt with my info on it, and the correct car info, but with $0 amount owed and paid. So i said, I cant have a receipt with zero paid when my company card got charged. I need it to show what you charged on it. That made him even more mad, gave me attitude and walked out to get someone else. This other guy comes in already with attitude like I am in the wrong for asking for a simple receipt with the amount I payed and with my name on it and the car details. I mean is that not a thing anymore? to get a proper receipt. So he ( Richard B) comes and says all confrontational, whats the problem! So I smiled and said I need a receipt with my info, the car info and the amount I paid on it. Thats all. He starts getting all the incorrect papers Ive been handed and starts going on the computer typing all hard and angry. He said I have to do a refund, im like sure, as long as i get a receipt for that too. So he prints the refund and has the incorrect name and address on it still. So I said, this is still not me. I need paper work with my name on it. So he gets all mad and starts doing it again, and cant seem to do it. So I just took the receipt with the refund amount and was like, I hope my company takes it like this or Ill be back. Now he works on the regular receipt that was messed up, finally puts the right info and amount paid on it and goes is this what you want? Im like of course, simple receipt is all I wanted. Thanks. He looks away super mad, and says your vans are out back, im like can I get the keys? Hes like their in the vans, im like ok. Bye. I got to the vans, no keys. Then he comes out yelling here are your keys so i have to walk back and get them. WHAT an awful experience with the cashiers and whoever he was, manager? who know. Hopefully not. No one really knew how to use the computer system. To bad because this was close to our company site, and we where looking forward to service our vehicles here. But not any more. Not coming back to this location ever. Zero starts if I could for customer service ppl in the office. Oil change crew was good. read more

This was probably the worst service I have ever experienced at a Jiffy Lube. Don't get me wrong, the guys who were there today were nice, but the service was not top notch. I wanted an oil change, the first guy approached us and told us it'll be over an hour wait. I think he was hoping we would leave. He said they were understaffed today, and I totally get how that could be overwhelming. So we were going to go get our other car and leave mine there so they could take their time and get it done while we run other errands. When we told them we'll be back, the other guy said we don't have to leave and they'll take care of it. We still walked across the street to the local Subway so that they could take their time and not feel as pressured. They brought my SUV in and started working on it. We went to Subway and ate. Some time passed, I turned around and was surprised to see my SUV was already parked in front of the Jiffy Lube. I thought wow how great, they're done already! We were surprised and impressed and walked back. The guy charged us for our services, went down the checklist of what they supposedly did. He briefly mentioned a "gas leak on arrival" but didn't go into detail about what was done about it or what I should do about it. These guys really just looked like they didn't want to be there. I said, "a gas leak?", and he said "yea a gas leak" and left it at that without any additional information. That made me not even want to question anything and I honestly just wanted to leave. Then he just walked us to our SUV, put the next oil change sticker and that was it. Now I'm no car expert, but I do have some expectations based on my past experiences at other Jiffy Lubes and car shops like it. They didn't show us our oil level with the dipstick. They didn't clean our windshield or vacuum the inside. When they charged us, the worker read everything on the list and said they did everything on the list (check lights, top windshield fluid, vacuum, etc). When we got in the car and drove off, it was clear they didn't do any of it. So I doubt that they did any of the other services. It's the day before the 4th of July so I really wanted to give these guys the benefit of the doubt. I would have rather waited over an hour for them to do the job right instead of them doing less than what we were expecting. This was the first time I drove away from any place saying that I will never come back ever again. Money not well spent. read more
