With everything closing due to coronavirus I was happy to find that not only were they open but taken proper precautions to make sure not only I but most importantly the employees were safe. Turns out I had paid for something at the Agoura location that wasn't installed. He fixed the error, explained everything to me, and his customer service was top notch. My sister took her car to the Burbank Jiffy Lube last week and asked me to go with her. I really liked the service we got. They explained to us the manufacturers recommendations and never pressured us to do any extras. We did end up doing two filters that were horrible and it was obvious my sister hadn't taken very good care of her car. They also gave us copy of the recommendations that way we can know what needs to be done. I usually go to the dealer to get my maintenance but after the last visit I'll be back with my car./ I finally got a chance to bring my car to the Burbank Jiffy Lube and one again the manager Edgar and his team were great. read more

I always go to Jiffy lube. I usually need a half quart of oil added to my car every 1000 miles and they topped it off for me. Bobby noticed that my check engine light was on and ran a diagnostic for me. He also did a visual inspection of my car and found specific problems and showed me exactly what they were. They will take good care of you here. They are very knowledgable. read more

Had my oil changed on June 13. It took them less then 30 minute to do the work. I had to return 3 weeks later because they forgot to reset the maintenance service light. I don't think I will return there again. They are not very professional. read more

They also get me in and out quickly and let me know if the wait is long so I can come back another day(working mom appreciates this). Ok here is my beef with them, it's long but people should know..... I have a complaint about your location in Burbank. My experience today was not satisfactory. From the point that I drove up to the time I left, I felt that I was an inconvenience. I first drove up to an the location noticing they had one car being worked on, so I waited in my car for someone to approach me, as they normally do; and waited, and waited. . . till I waved down a female employee who went to the guy who drove up after me, then came over and asked me "What can I do for you?" in a tone that sounded like I was her 2000th customer in her long 8 hour day. I then told her "Oil change please" she then told me to pull up to the 3rd garage, as I pulled up and got out, another employee told me I had to move to the 2nd garage, and I can't pull up here. So I moved. I know it takes about 20 minutes to get an oil change done so I went across the street to get something to eat, where I saw the girl employee and another employee. When I got back I sat outside at the tables and waited. . . and waited, and waited. Till the guy who I filled the paperwork out came over and asked if I was the corolla, I said yes. Then paying was an awkward time. Not talkative, just gave me the total so I mentioned the AAA discount, and that saved me 10%, thank you AAA. When I went to my car I noticed that the windows weren't cleaned not did was my floor vacuumed or did I receive a new sticker. SO I went back inside, to the front desk and waited, and waited, and waited. . . then I left. This is why I'm giving this place a 1 star, if I could give a no star I would. . . Later on I went to get another oil change and it turns out that once Jiffy Lube took out my air filter to show me how dirty it was and I said I'll change it myself, they didn't put the filter back in the case. So I've been driving around without an air filter in my car for 3 months. Thanks Jiffy Lube. Be careful where you go, and avoid here at all cost. Later on I received a letter of apology from the district manager. Still Whenever I drive by I see those same employees. Enjoy, but be careful. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. So I take my car to another oil change place and they inform me that I am missing my air filter that I paid for when I took it in months ago. Wow what a rip off I cannot believe they did that to me. What a bunch of jerks and also they are outrageous with prices. My advice is to avoid this place like the plague and just take it somewhere else. read more

Methinks never again. Went in for an oil change. All of a sudden, they're quoting me just over $300, after condescendingly telling me about several "routine services" I neglected to have done. I honestly thought they were BSing me the whole time. I asked them to re-explain everything many times, and after some negotiating I had the price down to $200. I cried on my way home. I really hope that the guys here didn't screw me over, but I'm pretty sure they did. Please don't go here. I'm new to the area, and where I used to live, I NEVER spent more than $80 for an oil change (even including filters, etc.) I'm going to continue my search for a new oil change place. read more

Save yourself the trouble if you don't want your car service to end in tears of frustration. I have been here about 3 times before and the service was adequate but after my last experience I will never go here again. I was estimated 35-45 minutes for an oil change, I also asked if they could check a slow leak on a tire, but they couldn't do that. After waiting 80 minutes without being given an estimate and seeing people who had arrived after me get theirs, I was livid and asked what was going on. The staff member disappeared for another 10 minutes (we're at 90 minutes waiting now) so this time when she returned I just demanded my keys back. All the staff had to say was "they should have told you it would be an hour" even though it had been well over an hour already. The 2 hour window I had given myself before I had work was gone and my whole morning was wasted in that awful waiting room. I will never use any Jiffy Lube location again after this. As they were talking about how they couldn't help my tire they said "Pepboys can do that they are just down the street." So seems like even they know thats the better place to go. read more

This has been my go to jiffy lube... until i came in for a regular oil change and left 2 hours later.. I drove home about 10 miles and my oil started spraying/spilling out everywhere, I open the hood and notice about 4 inch crack on the oil tank, I call them up the next day and explain what happen and their answer is the crack was there when i brought it in so why didnt they mention it and change it? Ive never had any kind leaks or spillage until THEY cracked my tank. I gave them the benefit of the doubt replaced my oil tank and brought my car back again months later for a regular oil change, they have my car for about an hour & they say I need a new A/C belt they already have it apart they can just pop it in tell them to do it if it must be done... i went back to work and by 5pm they still weren't done with my car.... I go to pick up my car and at that point they've had my car over 4 hours and they arent even close to having the belt on because they claim they are "missing a part" but are trying to get it on. They tell me I can take my car but just dont turn the air on, okay fine Ive got kids and need to get home, they tell me to bring it back in the morning they'll have what they need and finish the job. So I do just that and I drop my car off at 8:30 and I dont hear from them till 3 that my car is finally ready over 8 hours in 2 days to try and put a belt on... So I guess you can take your car here if you want to leave with more problems then you came in with, kids who think they know what they are doing when they open the hood when they actually have no clue. 1) When I was there just for an oil change they told me it would cost $139 to change my belts, which needed to be done because they were about to break. When I came back to have it done he said it was actually $169 (even before tax). 2) He said it would take 45min-1hr to fix and I was there for TWO hours. It would have been fine if they were just HONEST with me. Then I could have arranged to have a ride to work, but instead I was late. THEN when i was driving to work my power steering belt BROKE while I was driving and I had to pull over. 3)I called the manager and he WOULD NOT send a tow truck. Instead he wanted to send his employees to drive my car UNINSURED back to their location to fix it. Because I need my car for work I had to go along with it, and give two strangers my keys and hope they wouldn't fuck it up. 4) The manager did refund me my $$ but it is still going to cost me more money because I still need to have the belts replaced because they did a SHITTY job and they're all squealing. 5) DON'T GO HERE!!!! read more

Mechanics got oil all on my interior. Tried calling for several days to see what the protocol was for getting it cleaned. No one ever answered the phone and there was no answering machine. So I just went over there anticipating they would have some proper cleaner to fix the issue. When I arrived, I asked if they had a phone. She said yes, but they just got it hooked up. I explained that I had been trying to call for several days. She said the phone is in the back office and no one can hear it ring. What a way to run a business! She was nice and tried to scrub the oil out of the fabric, which was just wearing down the fibers instead of lifting the stain. She asked me if I "wanted it all the way out." No, please leave some so I can remember this moment we're sharing. "Yes, I'd like it all the way out." Left my number for the manager to call me, which he never did. It's a shame because the guys who did my oil change and the girl I dealt with were very pleasant...it just seemed like a lack of resources to get the job done right. No phone, no training on removing oil stains, no proper product to use and no managerial involvment. read more

After writing this review I received a call from what I think was the corporate office, and after explaining the problem and issues, they refunded my money for the services that were provided. I do appreciate the gesture and I don't have as much of a bad taste in my mouth as I did previously, however after this experience I no longer feel comfortable using Jiffy Lube or any of these types of places in the future. i will be going to my dealership for any type of service,no matter how small moving forward. However I do appreciate the good will gesture and hope they take to heart the constructive criticism I provided regarding customer service. read more

So...I had a coupon for their "signature service" that expired YESTERDAY (today being Nov 1, 2008.) I called up and asked if they would honor it, since, you know, it expired YESTERDAY. The douchebag who answered the phone (someone who has ZERO business answering the phone, because he has no CLUE how to talk to customers...he was one of those "guido, testosterone overdrive" types, shady mechanics who talk FARRR too fast for their own good) said "no, we won't. We'll give you a discount, but we won't honor a coupon that EXPIRED YESTERDAY. (emphasis mine, of course)" I said...um...so, you'd rather have zero business at all rather than honor a coupon that expired YESTERDAY? The answer was yes. You would THINK that a guy who works for a HUGE CORPORATION would not be such a dick about it...after all, HIS numbers improve, and the discount ain't comin' out of HIS pocket. He has NOTHING to lose, and SOMETHING (business) to gain. You would think... So....no business for you. A shame. E-Z Lube is down the street, and even though they're more expensive...they HONOR my "less than a month expired" coupons....because they know that the BUSINESS is what is important, not the EXPIRATION DATE. I personally don't typically like using Jiffy Lube, it usually turns into a battle between me and the mechanic because he always want to sell me something I do not need. With that said, I had my girlfriends car and she desperately needed an oil change so I took it here because I had a coupon and they are close to my work. I was pleasantly surprised with how fast the work was completed and they didn't try and sell me anything!! The oil here is expensive, and it's pennzoil. I prefer Mobil one in my cars but for my girlfriends Sentra Pennzoil will do. Overall I am very impressed with the speed of the work being completely and them not trying to sell me anything.
