I went in for an oil change and new filters and then they said my engine needed to be flushed and my battery was basically about to die, I took it to pro stop and they said I did not need my engine flushed and my battery life was 100%!!! They just say things are wrong with your car just to get more money out of you! And their oil changes are VERY expensive. read more

My truck was not due for an oil change but I brought it anyway. I had an issue/leak but wasn't sure if it was because my older truck was burning oil faster than usual. Andre was most generous in providing me his assessment: my truck has a valve gasket leak. They top off what oil I had burned off and did not charge me. It was quick service because no one is there! When I got there it was soooo quiet is was erie and when I did see the employees I could see why. The employees appearance is far from professional and should we say language use was so disrespectful. I will never come back here. I went to this location for the first time since moving to the area. They had a couple of cars already in the garage so it took about an hour from walking in the door. They performed good service and offered to discount other services on top of the coupon I already had. The only complaint I have is that the cashier pushed pretty hard to upsell me despite a couple of protests, but other than that it was a great experience. Sadly i have to revisit my review on this place, and lower some stars. Last time i went the service was great! This time not so much. I took my car in recently for an oil change. On a quick side note this car is used every day to transport my 4 kids back and forth to school, and for me to travel the freeways to get back and forth to work. Shortly after my recent visit i noticed my car started to run funny. It would jump before taking off normally as i got on the freeway, and when sitting on the off ramp would shake almost as if it was going to die but never did. I asked a trusted family if they could take a look to see if they might be able to figure out what it was. It appears that when my car was at Jiffy Lube they managed to crack the Fresh air intake hose in 2 places, and knocked the smaller side hose off the bigger hose. Not only did these shady idiots not tell me but they allowed me to drive away with my four kids in the car. This is the second time i have had issues of negligence from these people. I guess shame on me for believing the service would be different At another location. Do yourself a favor and spend an extra couple of dollars to have a true professional take care of your car, clearly these morons dont care about your car, or the fact that we all have important cargo to carry in them. You people have horrible business manner!! Great place with friendly service!!!! Juan and Joaquin the manager and assistant manager are very pleasant and willing to answer all questions. They went over everything with my in regard to my cars needs. Never tried to upsale, and happily took the coupons i brought in. Updatung my last review: first of all, their district manager gets 5 stars for owning up and handling the damage they did to my car. AND ZERO STARS FOR THIS LOCATION'S HANDLING OF MY CAR MAKING REPAIR AT THE DEALERSHIP NECESSARY. I had always heard that jiffy lube tries to upsell females and people they feel are ignorant. I had never had that experience and trusted my jiffy lube (as you can see with my previous review). However this time, I was hustled and even scolded for the poor state of repair my car was in. (It wasnt). For all the "terrible" things they found wrong with my car, apparently my serpentine belt was about to break (it wasnt) but I kept thinking about being stuck on the side of the road with my kids in the car so I allowed them to "fix" that item. When he showed me the belt, it looked brand new, he tried to show me the seams saying that they were frayed. Surprise, I used to work in an auto garage. I knew I had been screwed at that moment but it was too late. It all went down hill from there, they had to order a new (after market and ill fitting) tensioner pulley (free of charge, of course. Gee thanks) and then had to get help from the garage next door. After 4 1/2 hours there, I finally got to leave. My indicator light was not reset and the car was making a strange noise. By morning, the noise was TERRIBLE. I had to miss 4 hours of work to get it over to the honda dealership. NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS JIFFY LUBE. Went in for awhile and payed to have my tires rotated along with my oil change. When i got in my car I noticed that the tire that was low was still in the same spot. When I called the guy out on it he just tried putting air in the tire and ignored me when I told him that wasn't the problem. read more

They changed the kind of oil that my car usually uses to a totally different type. I've been going for the past few years since moving here for school. It was very mediocre at best in the beginning, but I would say in the last year or so they've really stepped it up. I take mine and my wife's car in fairly regularly and they are always pretty quick and don't try to up sell me at the checkout. This last time particularly, I actually decided to replace my wipers and air filter (which they suggested the last few times). They took $5 off of each and replaced them quickly, which would have cost me the same if I went to Walmart. At the end, they walk you out and open the door for you. He remained calm even when the only other employee there was half awake and telling customers he didn't want to be there and does not get paid enough. Went in for an oil change and I was very disappointed after my visit to this location. I was told all 3 of my brake lights were out and needed bulb replacements. They were fine before I went in. They showed me that they were in fact not working. I found this very suspect. I did not want to pay their exorbitant prices to change out bulbs so I declined to have them touch anything else and just finish the oil change. I stopped by a auto parts store and bought bulbs and replaced one of them myself and still the brake lights did not work. Upon further inspection, I noticed that the wiring harness connected to the brake pedal was disconnected. I connected it again and the brake lights magically started working again. I did not see anyone tamper with those cables so I can not say for sure that Jiffy Lube did anything but I do KNOW for a fact that they worked before before I took the car in. The upselling of overpriced and most probably unneeded repairs is akin to being at a used car dealership. WIll not be using their services again. read more

If you want to be treated like you're at a Mercedes Benz dealership, then this is the oil change place for you. You're greeted by the employees when you pull up. He opens the door for you and will help you out, if you need help. He holds the door open for you to go inside the lounge area where it's very clean and cool. He offers you a bottle of water while 5 people take care of your car. They clean your windows, they vacuum the inside, wipe down the dash, the doors; they make sure everything is perfect for you. They hold your door open while you get into your vehicle and close it for you. I cannot say enough about these individuals that work there. They're worth the drive to get your oil changed. read more
