Worst service EVER!!! I came for an oil change at 3:30 & there was only 1 other customer. I didn't leave here till 5:10 & my 2020 car was given back to me with the skid plate dragging on the floor!! I had somewhere to go first thing in the morning but I had to wait for jiffy lube to open before I could go. The website & window says they open at 8 but I was told I had to wait till 9 ? I WILL NEVER RETURN TO ANOTHER JIFFY LUBE NOR WILL I RECOMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!! I don't think the covina store has any management so I am just stuck here waiting!!! read more

Came here because am at right down the street from my house. I got here and the guy was so nice but it took over 45 min for an oil change. That is way to long. Brought my car here for an oil change 2 days ago. I usually go to the chino hills location & have had great experiences there. Decided to try this place out because i was already in the area so I just wanted to get it out of the way. The guy that was working on my car then told me that the light bulbs for my license plates are out so I took them to replace them. Then he told me that he was able to replace one since the other bulb has an electrical problem and that we need to take it to an electrician. Then that same day when I was driving home at night, I noticed that the light for my interior interface are ALL out. Ac buttons, seat warmers, shifting gears... etc. are all out. Usually when I turn on my headlights, they turn on as well. Which is funny because they work perfectly fine before I take my car in for an oil change. I asked my boyfriend to take the car in again the next day and talk to them about it and the guy named Johnny told him that there's nothing that they can do about it and that we have to take it to an electrician. Like seriously? I was so confused about the whole situation & what they meant by that that I went in on my own again to talk to them later on that same day. When I walked it no one was in the front desk. I waited there for a good 5 mins before I decided to go out their side door to ask the guys there if I could talk to someone at the front desk. Then a guy named Edward, I believe, came in. I explained to him about the whole situation & he shrugged his shoulders at me and said that he wasn't working the day that it happened so he can't do anything about it. So I asked him to bring in someone that was actually WORKING that day. So he brought in Oscar. Which was the guy that worked on my car. He take a look at the car and said that stuff like that happens and that he didn't do anything wrong for that to happen. And that he doesn't know what the problem is. And once again told me to take it to an electrician. My question is, how am I supposed to believe that my cAr all of sudden decided to be like this just right after I brought it to you guys? And now you're telling me to take it to get it fixed AND pay out of my OWN pocket again? Thanks. Will never use you guys' service again. At least not this location. Corporate or whoever in charge of this location needs to really look into this place because I've read some previous reviews and learned that I'm not the only customer that have had issues with this place. One word. Horrible. I went to Jiffy Lube in Covina to have oil added to my Prius and immediately the representative started trying to upsell me. I declined and stated that I only wanted to purchase 3 quarts of oil and that was all. Because I drive alot I usually go to Jiffy Lube. The location in Covina refused to add oil to my car unless I got an oil change. Keep in mind I been to numerous Jiffy Lube locations throughout Southern California.... I have been getting my car serviced here for years, the customer service is always great with the employees that work there. Cesar and Johnny always welcomes me in when I'm there, fast service and never had an issue with my vehicle after getting serviced like I have at other places Ive gone too. Even when its busy I can see they are working hard to get the next vehicle done. I didn't plan to bring my car to be serviced here, I just happened to be in the neighborhood! I needed to get my oil changed and was helped in 5 mins. I was offered the "headlight cleaning" service (which I knew would cost me $40) and made it clear that I couldn't afford that price, so they offered to clean both for $20.00. I ended up getting more done (because my car was due for the services). The overall service, information given on my car (without any hassle), and satisfaction was greatly appreciated. I needed an oil change and my check engine light was on so I thought I would go down to Jiffy Lube and they would take care of it (like they always do). Anyways, this experience was different I pulled in and it took a moment for someone to help me...but no worries... then I tell he man why I'm here. I told him I needed a diagnostic and an oil change (keep in mind I have 5 cars and I always go to Jiffy Lube). For the first time the man tells me while siting in my car the price of both. I was just surprised because I have been to Jiffy Lubes all around Southern California and this was the first time where the man didn't care to help me and made me feel like I was a waste of his time. Went for an oil change and came across the rudest employee one could imagine. As I was talking this guy literally started talking loudly over me and told me to LISTEN.. LISTEN! as he continued to mansplain. I was pretty amazed and I guarantee he wouldn't speak to a man like that so why me, just because I'm a woman? This Jiffy Lube need to invest in a front office person. I came in today for an oil change. Another customer and I waited for about 10-15 mins waiting for at least a "Hello" or, "I'll be right with you"...NONE of that happened. Three workers came in and out, one even walked up through the counter to another room and no acknowledgement whatsoever. I ended up just leaving. I'll never recommend or come back to the his place. I am SO done with Jiffy Lube! Every time I go in, it gets worse and worse. Since when do I need to do a crash course before coming in of when I last had my car repairs done! "When did you have this last done, when did you have that last done"? Seriously!? I'm just here for an oil change, if you find something wrong, flippin' just tell me and let's get on with the oil change! But don't ask me all these questions on when I had my radiator last flushed and when I had my fuel filter last changed, etc. Obviously you see something wrong with it, so just let me know! Then, since I darn well know they over charge for their services, I tell the guy "okay, thanks for letting me know what's wrong. I'll go ahead and take these problems to my mechanic". Then the condescending Butt Nugget says "oohhh, heh heh, you have a MECHANIC? Well, he's got a lot to do...." As if my mechanic should have known all of these things were wrong and should have fixed it. Dude, I only take my car in when somethings wrong with it. Don't talk to me like my mechanic has been neglecting my car, it's been a looong while since I brought it in to him so damn, lay off! Yeah, if I can find a new place to take my car in for oil changes, I will. I've been going to Jiffy Lube for, gosh 15+ years, and each time I go in, it's the same ass attitude. Brought my truck in to get a standard oil change, against my better judgement . The previous time they charged me for things I didn't even authorize and then try to tell me I signed off on it and when I asked for them to show it to me, they mysteriously couldn't find it . So whatever, I paid it and vowed not to return . Well fast forward to the next time I need an oil change. I got a gift card for Xmas and found a coupon online for jiffy lube thinking 'ok, fine, I'll give them one more try' I bring in my truck and I was greeted right away by a younger guy and had a seat in the waiting room . Then when I'm called up to go over things , I'm told I need about 5 other things done . I respectfully say no and just there for an oil change . Which he then belittles my decision and rolls his eyes. Very professional . Then when it comes time to take care of the payment , my coupon is accepted but not my gift card. I go online and it tells me it's still full and show the guy . He tells me if he can't slide it, he can't accept it. I ask if he can enter it manually and he once again rolls his eyes and then tells me again it's no good. So I call the help line on the back of the card and am told I need to go where it was purchased and deal with it there. Wouldn't even work with me . So after all said and done , I drive home and my 'check engine' light comes on . Very sneaky jiffy lube on trying to get me to come back . Not this time . Not ever . Tried this place for the 1st time last week. The next day my engine started weird, check engine light came on, and was told the oil pressure switch went out. Went back today and was told it was a "coincidence". I came in to this location to get my oil changed and tires rotated, and luckily I did. Cesar, who rotated my tires, discovered something terribly wrong with my brakes that could have been deadly. This place is a rip off. Do not go here! They try to tell you things are wrong with your car and upsale unnecessary work. They brought in "my" dirty air filter (this thing was discussing) and tried to get me to replace it. I passed because I knew I could just pop in a be one for cheap. I got home to replace it and my air filter was just a little dirty! They brought in some old dirty air filter and lied to me! They also recently tried to tell my wife she HAD to have synthetic oil for her car which was also a lie. They tried taking advantage of her in the situation.
