Be careful at this place. Went in for service and was told my brakes needed immediate attention because it was metal on metal. Told them I would come back the following week to have it fixed. Good customer service but but but: They told me that my car only takes synthetic oil but it takes regular oil also. They showed me more dirtier air filter so I get convinced to buy a new one. I saw the air filter they pulled out of my car and it wasn't the same one they showed me. I am very dissatisfied and I will not go there again. If I could give a negative score I would. My sister took her car here for an oil change and got charged for other fluid services that I know for a fact they didn't do since I had checked her car myself 2 days prior. The worst thing they wanted to charge an absurd amount of money for replacing front and rear pads and rotors because according to them the pads front and rear where worn below 2mm's; which I in fact knew they weren't from my visual inspection. I had to call my sister and have her pass the phone to the person in charge and I had to tell them to stop all work, which by that time they had already replaced front pads and rotors. They still had the audacity to call repeated times because they wanted her to go back and pay for work that they didn't do. LADIES please take your cars to the dealership, I'm a dealership mechanic and trust me we want to help you and have your car in working condition for you, these people here just want quick money read more

Last night, my car started to shake while at stop lights and when backing into my parking stall. I knew that I was due for a tune up because I was at 140,000 miles because I had replaced my original spark plugs at 70,000 miles. So, I hit up my mechanic friends for advice and was told in short order to immediately check my battery and take my car in for the tune up. I got my battery replaced but I knew I needed to get the tune up. I checked out jiffy lube quote for a tune up for my car and found that it should be around $139 it's a 2008 Toyota Yaris a four cylinder car not a big deal. However, when I rolled into Jiffy Lube today Tony asked what I was coming in for? I said I needed a tune up. He then proceeded to tell me that I needed the $239 tune up because the mechanic needed to get higher into my car in order to get to the wires that lead into the spark plugs and open up the entire engine. He then proceeded to tell me that I should also get the fuel injection cleaned out because otherwise the fuel injection would gum up the new spark plugs. Plus, I also needed to get my brake fluid replaced because it was black. Once he told me all that, Tony said what the total was to which I responded that yes, I had been given a quote for the tune up at $139. Another employee also indicated that the $139 tune up was what I needed because my car didn't need the mechanic to go higher into my engine. After all, that Tony comes back and tells me that my air filter needs to be changed out as well. The same mechanic who spoke up regarding the price of the tune also notice that my windshield wipers where low and needed replacing which they were so I agreed to that service as well. Due to Covid, I chose to stay in the car and since I was there I got to see all the smoke that came out of the back when they were cleaning my fuel injection. Tony then asked me if I need my oil changed because I hadn't been in since my last oil change and I replied that I had gone somewhere else and I was still 2,000 miles away from my next oil change to which he replied OK. I'm not sure how to feel about this experience. The last time I came on Thanksgiving week maybe two years ago, I felt like I was being taken care of but when I talked to my dad about everything I had to pay for he told me that I got taken advantage of because I was a female. This time I felt as if I was being taken advantage of solely because of my gender. I honestly don't know what think, perhaps if I had been explained the difference between the two different prices and what they entailed I might have paid for the higher service that's not to say that the attempted overcharge is right but I don't know what to think. I may not come back here. I'm very disappointed and I appreciate the other employees who stuck up for me. This review started with a three star review, I'm at a two at the moment and I'm still not done with my service yet. I got my price quote at 11:04 AM it's 12:02 pm and I'm hoping that nothing else happens. read more
