JUST CAME IN. My coolant light came on so I pulled them up and came over. Big bald guy (I'm bald too lol) named Ken came over, asked me what was wrong. I told him so instead of waiting in line of cars he just asked me to pop the hood real quick. He looked and said I had a hole in the coolant tank and it was leaking but it was at the top. He literally topped me off with coolant right there instead of making me wait in line for such a quick second of help. He had no idea what a rush I'm in and how much time he saved me with his little bit of help by prioritizing. He didn't even charge me!! Just told me thanks for stopping by and choosing them even though he didn't even charge me!! That's the kind of person you want as part of your business. Super personable as well. I found this place on yelp as well by searching where I could go that was closest to me. Such a big help, I decided to write this review in the parking lot before I went about my day and forgot. I came in for a Uber car inspection. It took 3hrs to get an inspection done. I thought jiffy lube was known for being fast and convenient. Everyone ahead of me and behind me waited a minimum of 3hrs for service. I thought it might have been a staffing problem but they had 3-4 employees per bay. This location is slow and inefficient. Deff more pricey than my usual but I completely understand why. I believe joe services my car but this tall black guy helped me out and opened my car door as he did with all the guest. Normally the service is outstanding and customer service is great..however today it was not. The manager and staff were very friendly as usual but the wait was extremely long! I was there at 7:45am (place opens at 7:30).. not more than possibly 2 cars ahead of me.. I waited a total of 2 hours and 15 minutes! Everyone there did a minimum of 2 hours wait! Not sure what the issue was.. or why they were so slow today.. my car wasn't even worked on in the order it came and I saw cars moving up in the bail beside mine and being worked on faster. Saw 2 customers who came after me receive service first and leave faster. More importantly they touched my car seats with dirty gloves and got grease stains all over my car seats!! I'm pissed. This was a far stretch from the wonderful experience I usually receive here! I will have to consider if I ever want to risk going again. Highly disappointed! Spent my whole morning there as well! Well this place lost my business after 7 years. They changed the policy for top offs. They wanted me to wait 45 minutes for air in my tire. Yeah that didn't happen. They said that they won't touch cars outside of their bay. Well you better make it bigger. When people sign up and get oil changes there they want quick service not this long wait crap. I can go to the dealership and pay almost the same for a longer but more comfortable wait. For 7 years I was told about the top off policy "just pull up and we will get you in and out". Not anymore. I recently adopted an Acura which was due for an oil change and I have a very small window to get it done. I randomly called Jiffy Lube and got a friendly mechanic on the line who assured me that they can get the job done in less than 30 minutes. As I got to the parking, I was greeted warmly and offered a drink while waiting. They kept me informed on the status of my car until it was done. I was extremely surprised when one of the mechanics walked me to my car, yelled out to the rest of his team "customer leaving" and in concert his team responded, "bye, have a nice day!". I've never been to Jiffy Lube in the past as I generally go to the MB dealership for car maintenance which comes with fine car boutique service. I would say, these Jiffy Lube mechanics set the bar so high and they exceeded my expectations! Keep up the exceptional work! read more

I came here two months ago requesting an oil change (had 30-40% oil life left) and a tire rotation. Day of, I noticed that they claimed to have aired up my tires, yet one of them was half empty. Not a big deal, was only charged for the oil change. They didn't rotate my tires like I asked, and furthermore, DIDN'T CHANGE MY OIL!!! Suddenly I was at 0% oil life, even after I did my part to be proactive about my vehicle care. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! I took my BMW X5 to Jiffy Lube in Irvine, CA, for an oil change in early May. I then drove home to Fairfield and parked my car in the garage, as I always do. A few days later, I noticed that there was a huge puddle of oil under my car. I assumed the guys at Jiffy Lube did not tighten the cap after changing the oil, so I took my car back to Jiffy Lube (this time in Fairfield) to get it fixed. At the second Jiffy Lube, I was told that the cap was tightened securely and the oil leak was because my oil gasket was broken. I knew this was not the problem since the car was new. I took the car to an independent mechanic and was told the reason for the leak was exactly what I suspected. He tightened the cap and cleaned the bottom of the car. Now the car is fine. In summary, Jiffy Lube did not do a proper job in changing my oil and they were not able to diagnose their own mistake the second time around. These guys don't know anything about cars. This hassle cost me hundreds of dollars and wasted a great deal of my time to clean my garage and get this all sorted through an independent mechanic. Moral of the story: DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO JIFFY LUBE! read more

No, don't come here! Very unprofessional place. We took our hybrid for an oil change and left very disappointed in this place. 1. The oil change took like 2 hours. 2. When they returned the car, they had apparently gone through our glove compartment and left everything poured out into the front passenger seat. Didn't put anything back, just left my emergency tampon and car registration papers and manual along with other stuff all over my seat. I asked them what had happened, and they just kinda looked at me, so I started to put everything back myself. 3. As I drove away my car started to act up and smoke really bad. I made it down the street stopped to take a look, they had poured oil all over my engine causing it to smoke really bad. Bottom line, my friend, go else where. Pros: Clean Oil changed quickly Well priced Some friends like this place and recommended it Cons: The guy behind the counter spent 15 minutes trying to get me to use full synthetic oil for my car when it really only needs a synthetic blend. The guy even used "well, you wouldn't want your car to cease up on the highway and leave you stranded because you didn't have your oil changed correctly". WTF? Really? I walked in with a print out of an up-to-date recommendation by the car manufacturer (which I was told was incorrect). It went on until I started to call my local Chevy dealer to ask them what I should put in the car for the guy to comply with what I asked for. Then I was told my air filter needed replaced. So I asked to see it. They said, OK, never mind we wont replace it (I checked it at home and it was CLEAN). I get up selling but don't treat the customer like an idiot! read more

I am a complete cheap skate and hate to spend excessive amounts of money, but at this business I didn't leave feeling like I was ripped off! First of all, I was in dire need of an oil change (like 8000 miles over - eeek) and needed a place that was open past 5pm! These guys were at the top of the Yelp list so this is where I went! First of all, for a car shop this place is super clean! Even their bathrooms were impeccable which is super impressive! When I pulled up, I was greeted by a very nice and professional gentleman. The guy I talked to inside the shop was very nice as well. They weren't overly pushy about their services and thoroughly explained why I needed what I did and the consequences if I didn't choose to do so. I actually felt like I made good decisions about my car rather than just doing what they told me like at other places! Although I didn't like spending almost $90 on an oil change and new air filter, I felt the service, professionalism and overall experience was worth it! (They even top off all your fluids and vacuum your car mats for free!) I'm definitely a fan of this place!! read more

I literally just got back from getting my oil changed at this location. I went during my lunch break. I think I spent more time stuck in traffic on Highway 12 to get back to work than I did waiting for them to change the oil. Definitely great customer service, quick & to the point, and informative staff. Their waiting room/lobby is clean and cool. They also provide cold water and coffee. I will be returning in 5,000 miles. Luckily they caught a minor transmission leak and recommended that I return to the dealership to get it fixed. Thank you! read more

SCAM ALERT!!!!! SCAM ALERT!!!! Old Manager is gone. Wife went there again and came home with a $300 receipt for an OIL CHANGE! A $80 "oil KIT" was added, and another OIL additive ($25) to HIGH $ BLENDED oil in a year old Accord. My wife countered my astonishment with, "They said everything was recommended by the manufacturer!" Well, NOT being the kind of guy that will blame the wife first, I figured that I'd go see for myself. After 10 minutes of demanding ACTUAL costs (that DIDN'T jive with the bill- BTW!) and FORCING him to answer "WHAT" manufacturer recommended these products, he ADMITTED that the PRODUCT MANUFACTURERS recommended their products be added to new cars and OLD cars too!.. NOT HONDA! (I had threatened to call Honda right there!) He didn't tell me he'd do ANYTHING to make it right, which means he figured that ANYTHING he can get her to OK, even IF she's LIED TO, is OK to take money for! I warned him that I'd be writing this report... and it didn't seem to bother him in the least. Yeah... Well, I had managers that violated laws and contracts on the railroad too and they acted the same way as he did... They ended up losing THEIR jobs... Later managers figured out it was BETTER to work WITH everyone, RATHER than SCAM everyone they could. Yeah...THEY got bonuses for looking good too! They called me "Sir" and offered me bottled water and coffee. +They didn't try to sell me anything. +The waiting area was very clean. +They vacuumed my car, washed my windows, and showed me that my car was full of oil. Instead we end up with $400 worth of damage, JL's inability to speak up first that they f*cked up the truck and just screwing up a beautiful Saturday. Here's the damage : touched the oil filter to the starter, caused sparks to fly and thus blowing the starter relay circuit fuse....had the nerve to ask "did your truck have problems starting before?" instead of "we caused a problem and we will do everything we need to do to make it right" Okay you're going to make it right with having our truck in service for the next how many days and JL paying for every penny. It was POURING rain when I came to this Jiffy Lube. As soon as I drove up the mechanic stopped what he was doing and ran to my car to ask what I needed. I was walked into the waiting area.. .the mechanic welcomed me to Jiffy Lube, opened the door for me... asked me if I wanted a bottled water, showed me where the coffee, and magazines were and where the bathroom was. The customer service is that of a 5 star restaurant. They came in every 5-10 minutes with updates. Every person was greeted in this manner who walked in.. and it was busy that day. Ive never been treated so well at an oil change. They even walked me out to my car and it was POURING RAIN! He thought maybe my windshield washer fluid was low so he asked to wait and ran back with a can of it.. and topped it off. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up.... Ill definetely be back read more

I have had good experiences at some Jiffy Lubes but not this one. They checked us in and estimated our oil change would be ready 30 minutes. An hour passed and they told us that our oil change was done but they were too short staffed to get us checked out. What was originally estimated to take 30 min ended up taking 70. Excellent service. They got me in last minute and did a top notch job. I was even going for the most expensive oil and the shop guy advised against it because of the age of my vehicle. All in all, they seem to do honest work and didn't try to up sell everything they could, as MANY of these places do. The presence of cameras on your vehicle make you feel more at ease. When I drove up and said I needed my oil change I was shown to a nice waiting room and before I knew it they had opened the hood of my car and were poking around inside! Just prior to them looking under the hood I had asked, "Hey, what's going on? Don't you need to know what kind of oil I want?" To which they replied that a service manager would be with me in a shortly. I interupted their the poking around and was told they were first performing an inspection. This place is fantastic. I've been going here on and off since they opened. I live in Colma, CA but travel up this way often as my family is here and I try to plan my trips around the services my car needs just so I can go to this place. I am one of those women who..sadly knows NOTHING about cars, to the point that I am lucky I can just put gas in my car... my father would be so ashamed! But the men here are always VERY polite, open my doors, call me Ma'am etc. While I understand this is a sales tactic, the effort put into it is amazing. It's ALWAYS consistent from visit to visit and person to person. Upon being walked into the waiting room they showed me where the hot coffee was (which was tasty by the way, and I'm a coffee snob), they let me know where the rest rooms were and also the water. They are so kind in explaining things to me. I often look at them blankly and they always slow down and take the time to give me the step by step of things.
