I am posting an update to my earlier review I made on Friday, April 5, 2019. Despite all the issues I had on Friday, earlier today, I received a call from manager Josue I think his name was, and he made everything right. I was surprised by the brevity of the quick response on Jiffy Lube's behalf, and the extent they were willing to go to, to try to make things right, and have me come back as a customer. I have been going here for years but not any longer. They don't have a pricing menu posted so you never have transparency regarding the price and they always have to email receipts. So I waited for my receipt to come thru on my phone and they charged me for a drain plug. WTF? I asked around the office and another co worker had the same charge at the same place. I went back in and they confirmed they never replaced it and the female manager made a big issue about a refund. She just handed me cash. She tried telling my my drain plug is plastic and needed to be replaced. I'm not a dummy and all the years I changed my own oil I never encountered a plastic oil drain plug. Disappointed but there are oil change joints all over town that won't rip me off. read more

I went to Jiffy Lube to get an emissoon test and there was a big sign on the side that said emissions here. A young man named Ramos came out and told me it is broke and I asked why don't you take down your sign and he said it would cost a thousand dollars to take down the sign and if I wanted to pay the thousand dollars and he was being a smart ass so I said I would call the owner and he said go ahead his name is Mike and my name is Ramos R A M O S. Ramos should not ever deal with customers. read more

The guy who worked on my car accidentally killed my battery. Now I am very understanding when someone makes a mistake ,BUT he didn't apologize nor take accountability and same with everyone who tried to help- " oh it's your battery its really old"- ok but it was working just fine and I had no issues?! Oh and "um hopefully it will start up" ?! No customer wants to hear this. Please work on the professionalism and Customer service. If you fucked up thats fine just admit it and let the customer know you are gonna do all you can to make sure it's working not maybe. read more

If i could give less than one star i would. I have NEVER waited 30 minutes to even be acknowledged. I understand with COVID protocols being what they are, to sit and wait in my car, but not even a glance by anyone there. Shame that this is in my neighborhood and I will drive further for decent service. read more

Matt and his crew did an absolute killer job when I took my car in for an oil change. I called around 4:30 (they close at 6pm) to see if I could get in for an oil change and he said they have about an hour and 20 minute wait but to bring it in. When I got there, they had about 5/6 cars in front of me and told me he's going to try his best to get it done before 6. They were hustling. Not even an hour later he called me saying they were bringing my car in the bay and it would take them about 15 minutes. Absolutely incredible customer service. Did a oil change yesterday and I usually go to this location. Did the normal service and I thought everything was good. Drove to San Diego and when I turned off my radio I hear a scraping sound. Looked under my car, only to see my skid plate dragging/touching the ground. When I called them about the issue, the person on the phone says what do you want to do about it. No sorry, I apologize, nothing. Then proceeds to say take it to any Jiffy Lube and they will fix it. Not cool to pawn off their crappy work on others read more

Courteous, quick. Ryan answered all my questions and was able to get everything I needed done at the prices I could afford. Mario and Clifton greeted me immediately. I'd never been there so I had no idea where to go and he told me exactly where to go. It was really simple. In and out. Clifton guided me through resetting my oil settings hands free. We came in early this morning and were told we may have to wait about 45 minutes to have them start our oil change. The General Manager, James I believe was extremely helpful while maintaining a fast working pace to get everyone in and out. He had to call someone to have our oil filter delivered so that we could be serviced. After a quick 10 minutes our filter arrived thanks to James and on top of all that, he made us laugh a few times. Sadly, I didn't check yelp before coming here. I stopped in the other day to get my oil changed. I parked my car and was directed inside where I was shown where the bathroom was and told there was water and coffee in the lobby. After about 15 minutes, they informed me that my car was missing an air filter....um where did it go?!? So I needed to buy one. They also said some other kind of filter was dirty and needed replaced and I thought it looked okay, so I declined. One last thing, my tires needed rotated. Every single item I was told I needed, the guy said he could give me a deal. I agreed to the tire rotation with the discount and the air filter that I was strangely missing. I waited about another 30 minutes and my car was ready. Once I got on the highway later that afternoon, I noticed my car was shaking. It never had that problem before :( so I took my car back on my next day off. The first guy I spoke with said I must have hit a curb. I explained to him that I never had a problem before and my tires must need balanced again. He said "oh we don't do that here." Ok, so I'm not a car expert but I do know that every time I have ever had my tires rotated, they balance them too. There's a reason they advertise , rotate and balance together! I asked to speak to a manager. The manager came over and said "can I help you?" Ok....major rule in customer service, if you have a customer with a complaint and you have to get the manager, give the manager a heads up before sending them to the customer. After I explained again what happened, he informed me that they don't balance tires and I could go somewhere else to get it done. I explained to him that before they touched my car there was a problem and told him I wanted everything put back! He said he could give me a refund for that service. So I agreed and had to take it down the street to a real tire place that had to rotate my tires (because they obviously were not rotated properly) and balance them. One week later....still waiting for the refund to post to my account. Smh. read more

Unbelievable I came to get an oil change thinking would save money for my local dealership they charge me $70 for my oil change basics synthetic blend nothing extra Sergio and Francisco insisted this was the price. This is including a $15 coupon go to your local dealership!!!!! Don't be a fool and waste your money for a basic oil change!!!! read more

After my Dr visit, I stopped by here to get my smog check. This Jiffy Lube impressed me, even more so then the other one on Windmill. This place looks newer, cleaner, 8 or so more comfy leather like chairs to sit, clean sparkling coffee machine, water...IMPRESSIVE The staff was quick to get the cars in and out with quality work. I was in and out of that place in a jiff...oh how funny...jiffy lube...dohhh, that's how it should be right? This place is walking the talk fo shizzle. I will be returning to this jiffy lube for my car service. Note: There is also a DQ in walking distance, and I wouldn't even need to cross a busy street! Kudos to this location! read more

These people will scam & rob you!! All employees as if they are trained to steal watch out they won't even ask what oil you want they will give you the most expensive one plus they told me that I needed to pay over $500 of things that needed to be repaired I thought that was a bit much so I took it to another shop the same day to make sure and they told me nothing was wrong that they were just trying to take advantage of me! he told me they didn't fill up the oil to take it back and tell them to fill it up all the way and they refused! My parents were super hesitant to let me come alone since I am a girl and they didn't want me to get over charged. But I did anyway and they took great care of me! I came here to get my back break pads replaced and I had already been quoted at another Jiffy Lube for like $180 so I knew what to expect. The guy said it would be $300. Confused, I called my bf and asked if I was mistaken about our previous quote. He said no and he called around just to be sure while I waited in the lobby. He called back to confirm the $180 with labor included at another jiffy 10min away. I told the guy I didn't need anything else done besides the break pads and he said he was charging me for the routers(?) as well because "it was policy" he had to do both. It honestly just felt like bullshit.. I would avoid this location in general because of the dishonesty I felt radiating from this place. Shady shady read more
