Definitely not the management it used to me. The new Store Manager doesn't understand the Jiffy Lube way. He only wants to work on one car at a time which makes their signature oil change not 15 minutes whatsoever. (You should probably take that banner down) Thankfully, I wasn't in a rush, but I will most likely not be heading to that location again because of how long it took. I go to Jiffy Lube for the fast service. If I wanted slow service, I'd go to Terrible's Erik, the ASM, however is always extremely helpful and explain to me the new "way". The only reason it is not a five star is the price. This place is expensive! With that said, I have paid similarly high prices at other quick lube places in town and did not get anywhere near the great service these guys gave me. My car has been two weeks overdue of an oil change, but like many others, I procrastinated. At 3:30pm on a Saturday, I bought my car here, seeing that there were 2 cars in line, I don't know if they will service my car. To my surprise, the attendant said that he will squeeze me in. Oh what a relief. I walked over to DQ on a 44 degrees weather to enjoy a turtle pecan cluster and headed back to JL. They did a thorough check on my car, and follow their own checklist to let me know the services that my car may need, but the manager on duty didn't try to push for any added services, which is good. Who likes to be push into a sale right? But of course, comments/advice/tips are definitely welcome, and this was how it went down. I ended up having an oil change and my air filter replaced. Manager on Duty showed me how dirty it was, which I totally agreed upon examining it. The services that day cost me $40 so it was all good. I will always come back to this location to get work done for my car. Also, the soft leather-like chairs are so comfy, but there are only 6 of them. Finally! I have found a good place to take my car for an oil change near my house! After moving from the north about a year and a half ago, I have taken my car to several places in the area. Each experience was annoying and frustrating with either the excessive prices or the hard push up sales. I was actually considering driving back to the north to go back to the Fabulous Freddy's I used to be happy going to up in the north. That's a 30-45 minute hike, so I just kept plugging away down here. That's when I discovered this Jiffy Lube location on Windmill and Pecos. It had a 4.5 stars rating on Yelp! when I checked it out. Well, it definitely lived up to the billing! I went after work at about 7:45am on this past Tuesday morning. I pulled up, was greeted immediately and given a quote of 45-60 minutes. That's fine. I just need to get this out of the way. I believe I was helped by Jeremy ( hope I got that right) I believe his name tag said he was the Assistant Manager. Only thing I didn't care for was the fact that I saw the sign that advertised a 24.95 oil change and he just gave me the 34.95 oil change that included a few other things. Kind of dirty that he wouldn't ask which one I was interested in, especially considering they have a large banner advertising this roadside. I'll let it go this time, but you can bet I'll be more specific next time. After waiting a few minutes, I was pulled outside for the inevitable "upsale". Except this time Jeremy told me my air filter was good for now and could probably go until the next oil change. (At almost EVERY oil change this is something they ALWAYS try to get out of me. I usually just change it myself though. Its not that rough lol) Other than that, he just let me know the price and that I'd be all set to go in a few minutes. Nice! Quick and painless! My oil change came to $37 and change and I was quite happy with that. I was in desperate need of an oil change, so I headed here quickly during my lunch hoping to get it done fast. Service was efficient and they helped me as soon as I arrived. I only waited about 15 minutes for everything and I was relatively happy with the service. A little more expensive than other places I have seen and they almost always try to sell me a new air filter, etc. At least they take no for an answer and don't push the sales pitch too much, which I appreciate. I came in for an oil change and asked for nothing else to be done other then the oil change as I knew there were issues that I was planning on addressing in the next day or two. I was surprised to find a basic oil change is only like $26 but that is all you get. If you want to pay $59 they will check all your fluids and fill them, give you a higher grade of oil, check your tire pressure and so forth. What happened to customer service and getting all that with the basic price of an oil change. Needless to say they tried to up sell me anyway to which I said no just the oil change. It was pointed out that my coolant fluid was low and they can add some for an extra charge. They were not bad, they did what I asked but seemed annoyed I would not let them up sell me. There are still places that believe in taking care of the customer without up selling you, so next time I will go somewhere else. It had been a long time since I had been here and now I know why, you get what you pay for and not a penny more will be given to you unless you pay for it. The staff were friendly even though they were annoyed they could not make any more money, oh well. Now I will not be back so they will make less. read more

I took my car in on October 16th for an oil change and was told that while I was there you could change my brake pads for me as well as I needed this done. I paid $352.11 for the brake pads and $124.98 for the oil change. The employees of course never told me that they only did the front brakes, but when I got home my car told me. I called in and they said they'd order the rear brakes as well for me. I took the car back in on October 26 to have the rear brake pads changed. When I took the car home after that, the warning sign for brakes wouldn't reset and it said the parking brake had been damaged. The brakes began acting sluggish and had to be pushed clear to the floor to slow down. I called the location and they told me to take it to bmw. I took it in today where I was charged $179 for the diagnostic. Upon inspection they told me that whoever changed the brakes had missed a bolt, put one bolt in the wrong place, and had not even attached the pads properly. This has caused brake fluid to leak into the pads, damaged the brakes themselves, and the car should never have been driven in that condition as the brakes weren't even functioning. Thank god I didn't crash due to the employees negligence or incompetence not sure which at this point. It will cost $2700+ to get the car fixed properly by bmw and I do not want their people working on this anymore; but they told me the only thing that they can do is to take the car back to their shop and look at It themselves. They've made 0 offers to reimburse me for the "services" that I had done here. I submitted a complaint to corporate last Friday and have only receiving one email from jiffy lube basically just trying to make sure they have no liability by blaming this on the owner, who has not reached out once. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR ANY REASON!! It is worth driving a few minutes further to at least have a car!!!!! My car has been un-driveable for 2 WEEKS now and they've made 0 effort to compensate me for my losses or time lost. Will be reporting to BBB, AG, and every single website that I can possibly find. read more

Everyone was really kind , My Husband Joseph & I went & they got us in and out very quickly. Nick & I believe his name was Robert (Sorry If that wasn't your name) You were great. The only downside was after we left, my husbands Lexus check engine light came on right away. I said maybe the system needs to recalibrate or something try to drive for awhile and see if it goes off but it didn't and i'm not sure why, we brought it back and they told us to take it somewhere else and have the codes checked . Danny and Zander at this jiffy lube saved me today. The wind was gnarly and I hit a cardboard box on the highway (there was no way to swerve). Turns out it broke my fender (I think it was my fender) and I was dragging it along till I got there. My car was a mess. They helped me out and did everything they could to get it free and clear. They couldn't replace it because that's not what they do there but even tho it isn't a service they normally offer they went above and beyond to make sure I could get home with out damaging my car any further! Will certainly NEVER come back to this location. Being new to the Vegas area I was hoping going to a company I had great experiences with in the past would be a good idea...boy was I wrong. Ended up there for an hour and they didn't vacuum nor clean my windshield even though my receipt said it was "completed" (past experiences at other locations they have been fast and thorough). My concern is what else on my receipt that says "completed" was overlooked?? For those of you that want to know all the details continue reading: Upon arrival I was not promptly greeted; instead was waived over to one of the bays and sat in my car for a few minutes before someone came to talk to me. There was a car in each of the two bays and while being directed to the office I was told it would be approximately 20 to 30 minutes. After about 15 minutes I was taken back to the bay with the assistant manager Orlando Who could not pull up my information on the computer from past visits, I'm assuming since I'm from California that my information for some reason is not in their system (not this locations fault but you would think a large nationwide company would have the ability to have their customers in the system regardless of what state they are from). That being said I was not sure as to what oil are used to get when I would go to Jiffy Lube in the past... I ended up just going with regular conventional. Fast forward to about 40 minutes into my visit Orlando came to get me again from the waiting area and take me back out to the bay to manually put in my information into their system... he had trouble with his login and password which ended up taking extra time. We then went back into the waiting area and since I have been there for almost an hour I was able to find a coupon online for $13 off; original price was $47.35. I was able to use the coupon. After paying he then directed me out to my car and I noticed my windshield was still dirty and that my floor mats had not been vacuumed. I looked at my receipt that said the windshield and vacuum floors were "completed" so I asked him "do you guys not do the windshields anymore?" He answered "they didn't do the windshield?" I said "no" while standing in front of my car with him. He then went and grabbed the window cleaner and gave my windshield a wipe down and then asked me "did they vacuum?" I gestured to my floor mats and said "no". He did not offer to vacuum he just said "sorry about that". I then drove off in my car, and I had a little more time in my day I would have asked them to complete the services that were on my receipt as "completed". read more

I am disheartened to be leaving such a review, due to the fact that we have been customers of Jiffy Lube for years and at this location, however, what happened on January 18, 2019 is unacceptable, shocking and down right messed up. On January 18, 2019 I brought my car in for it's typical oil change. I did not recognize any of the employees, but no big deal, as they all appeared to be welcoming, friendly and I needed my oil changed. While the Jiffy Lube employee was going over what type of oil I wanted, I suggested that he look at the past oil change history. Apparently there was not one consistent oil, so I asked if George was available, as he would know. I was informed that George was no longer at this location. Well that was a bit of a bummer since we had a good rapport with him, he was always helpful, honest and accommodating. But life goes on, and as I stated above, the staff was welcoming / friendly. While we were discussing the oil type, one of the employees (who was actually doing the oil change) informed me that there was a coolant leak, so bad that there was no coolant in the receptacle and that if I continue to drive the car in this condition, the engine would blow. I was shocked, as I had not seen any fluid leaking from the car. But, hey, things happen. It was then recommended that I don't waste my money on an oil change, but that I should take my car immediately to this local mechanic to have it looked at. I called my Fiancee, who was also shocked by this, and he told me to just drive the car home, which is about a mile down the road. I was so upset about this... clearly a car problem that I was not expecting. What made this situation worse for me, is that I have a defective engine light that continues to go on and off, yet, no one "mechanics" can figure out why. The car runs fine, it has low miles and is well taken care of. But now Jiffy Lube is telling me that my engine is going to blow! I said to the JL employees that I was so disappointed with my car, I just wish someone would take it so I would not have to deal with it anymore (words spoken out of frustration, but not meaningful) and one of the Jiffy Lube employees said, "If you tell me where you live, I will make sure the car disappears". I was so taken back by this... I could not even believe he said what he just said. I called my Fiancee and he said to drive the car home and park it. Later that evening, he looked at the car and said that the coolant was full / no leaking. He drove it, and the temperature gage was fine, however, to be careful, and until we could get the car into our trusted mechanic, I parked the car and did not drive it. Due to life circumstances and other variables, I went without my car for almost 3 months. This clearly is no fault of Jiffy Lube, but Jiffy Lube employees lying and offering to steal a car is a problem. We eventually learned that the car had no leak, none whatsoever! In fact, just yesterday, I took my car for an oil change at another Jiffy Lube location. At first, I did not divulge anything from my experience back in January, I did ask about the fluid levels, etc. and the manager said that all my fluid levels were fine, and the coolant was full. I then shared what had happened at the other JL location and the manager was shocked. He said that this type of behavior is a bad reflection on the company / other JL locations. He highly suggested that I contact JL corporate office to explain what had happened back in January. I do hope that Jiffy Lube does some investigating at this location. My guess is that if they were lying to me, are they doing this to other customers, and why? I will never return to this location. read more
