I have a Genesis GV 70, which apparently is not an easy car to do an oil change on. I took it to two different Take 5's who both refused to do it. I called this Jiffy Lube store ahead of time to confirm they could do it and the conversation was yes, sir no sir, the entire time, they were very genuine and professional. When at the store that professionalism continued the entire time with constant updates on where they were since it does take a little longer with my Genesis. Moral of the story, if you have a higher end car and don't like the hassle of a dealership, then take it to Jiffy Lube. I'll be back for sure. read more

Worst auto service ever!! A total suck. I phoned ahead to confirm they could service my car, and they would use the oil i specified. They said yes. No problem. I drove 30 mins. Then WTF, first thing they DEMANDED to check my headlights, blinkers, break lights. What's that have to do with an oil change? Now I'm starting to get pissed. Minutes later this surly woman boss came came to my window saying, "we can only put in full synthetic" because the Volvo data sheet says full synthetic. I tell her have been using synth. blend for years on this 15yr old car. Note: They charge $170 for full synthetic, $104 for blend! I ask, so you are not going to put the oil I want in my 15yr old car? She said sorry we can't. I'm sure she wasn't a car doctor, and oil changes do not need a prescription. She was a total ass about it. Today she lost a $104 oil change, a repeat customer, and gained an awful review. This manipulative behavior is UGLY and will NOT BE TOLERATED. Oddly, when my account was pulled up at a different Jiffy Lube, it showed the same store put synth. blend in my car previously. Go figure. SAVE YOUSELF SOME GRIEF A GO ELSEWHERE. read more

Living paycheck to paycheck and trying to get an oil change to feel obligated or feel bad about not getting other services is very hard. The staff is courteous and explains the 'why' in any of their recommendations but always with no pressure. I enjoy the convenience of not having to get out of the car for an oil change. Great jiffy lube! I have been to several and this was the first that took the time to vacuum clean, and wipe down my windows- what a treat! I had misgivings, and it turns out they were justified. At first you'll think they did a great job. But I'm one of those people who prefers to change her oil herself - only went here because I was in a hurry - and now that I need to change oil again, I can see how they screwed me. They didn't dab any oil on the rubber o-ring on the filter and they sure as "hill" didn't just hand-tighten it; so now the rubber has melted onto the metal and the filter is stuck. I own a Honda Civic, so there isn't enough room to get any kind of leverage under the hood. Even my oil filter wrench isn't enough to get this thing off, so now I'm going to have to go buy a "claw" (it's a thing) to get the filter off. I specifically asked them to do no more than hand-tighten the filter, then loosen it about 1/8th of a turn. "Sure thing!" they smiled and said. Either they are liars or they are incompetent - you decide. read more

Thought I would try a local jiffy lube since it's closer to home than the Toyota dealership. Never Again! $102 for an oil change in a small SUV. A 5 gallon container of synthetic oil cost 20-40 dollars. It took them 5 minutes to do the oil change so I'm not sure where they think they can charge over 100$. It was only 55$ at the dealership. I came here to get an oil change and not only were the guys super nice and attentive, they had me in and out in 12 minutes! That's gotta be a record! Went to this location when I first moved here in August. Hardly Jiffy. They were nasty and would not tell me how much an oil change would be. They just told me I could use their discount coupon. Seemed very shady with no posted prices for a basic oil change. They took my keys and told me to wait. After a half hour I got annoyed and told them I could not wait any longer and needed my car. That turns out to be a good thing. I was just reading a long thread on Nextdoor how they overcharge like crazy, especially for woman and young people that might not know better. I now only go to Tuffy's on Race Track. read more

Alright Butters, pretty fast and what you expect from a place like this. I'm not a fan of the old " how much are you used to spending on an oil change?" Answer to my " how much is a regular oil change?" Question. I know the guy has to do his job but it kinda pisses me off when I get asked that question. My answer is always zero. I want to pay nothing! , now again how much for a freggin oil change.? But I digress, the service was pretty good and they vacuum the car and wash the windows, try to sell you an air filter for 40 bucks when it's 8 bucks online. I don't want people to not go to places like this, we are lucky to have quick service places close to home, but also, as a new generation of technology, they need to keep up with the fact that we can look up the real price of these filters and such, in a matter of seconds, before we have to make a decision on the spot. So I recommend everyone do that to keep from over spending on chit you may or may not need. Also the company's need to be aware of that. Would I spend 40 bucks on a filter for my inside cabin ac ? No. Would I spend 10 bucks? Yes. That's about it, Inspector Butters is on the case!!! read more

-10, the Pink Tax has to end. The jerks that work there charged me $120.34 and said if I didn't like it I could just go next door and wait in line. What a bunch of crap. The sign stated $29.99, the invoice says they washed my windows and vacuumed my carpet, lies... They mentioned my radiator and I said leave it alone, just and oil change and the technician said it cost $120.00. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME. This has got to end and I will contact Ken Amaro, my lawyer, and anyone else I can to get my money back. read more

I recently took my Ford Truck in for an oil change based on the advertisement on the Jiffy Lube sign out front. "$17.99 oil change". Once inside, even after telling the attendant we were there for the "$17.99 oil change" after the work was done it cost $43!! Apparently my truck has too many miles to be eligible for that deal. I won't make that mistake again. After questioning the attendant he did offer $5 off my total price. Buyer beware! read more

First I will say they had good customer service, let me explain. I will take partial responsibility for this error because I did not check my receipt. I took my 4 wheel drive for an oil change. The change was 39.99, twice as much as a near by shop advertising it outside for 17.99 but this Jiffy Lube didn't have the three hr wait. So I decided to pay for the convenience of not having to wait. I go to clean out my vehicle and pick up the receipt to throw it away and read it. It says they checked my battery cold cranking amps and tested OK, I never saw them do that. It says they checked the front and rear differential fluid, they never did. Also says they added transmission fluid, they never did. I was watching the entire time. I take my vehicle on trail rides one to two times a month with 10-20 others in the group and every time I get the vehicle up to the doors in water riding when I get home I change the front and rear 90 weight fluid myself so I know what I'm looking for and how its done. Funny thing is moving here to Jacksonville three weeks or so ago I lost all gears but fourth coming off the ramp on 95. Long in short I just dropped the tyranny and put another one in. I filled the fluid myself to the fill hole and plugged it when it was full, and again never saw them even check it. Now that all aside this is what really spiked me to write this, Money. It wasn't the girl in front of me surprised by the price and the manager offering her a coupon he had to give her some money off that he never mentioned to me. The office if literally like a shoe box and his "Desk" is a stand with a computer on it. So I could hear everything. What really got me was on the receipt I'm reading right now. I was charged $2 for a "Jaguar Game Button"? I don't even know what that is. I was never told about it nor given one. I know these places are tracked on selling upgrades or spiffs as they are called. Usually it's air filters, in cab filters etc. I guess this is the game button in this location at this time. I really don't like being charged for something I'm never told about. Long in short I'm not going back. I've always done my own services just moving here I couldn't change it myself this time because of where I'm living at. You can't service your own vehicles there etc. Watch them work on your vehicle and ask questions. More so read your receipt. I feel like this just wasn't right. $2 or several hundred dollars you don't throw things in you don't tell your customers about. But, they were very friendly. read more
