Turns out, it stemmed from my battery replacement not being finalized by AAA which caused problems with the car not shifting from first gear to second gear. Not only did Raridon not even address this issue in their $8,000 quote to me and that it wouldn't be fixed. Dougs even figured out the issue with the computer showing a number of nonexistent issues - it was a computer glitch. Rairdons didn't question the computer and was happy to try to take 8k of my hard earned funds unnecessarily. Rairdons knew this happened immediately with a transfer of the battery and I specifically told them that I suspected it had to do with the battery. They didn't even inform me that the shifting issue wasn't addressed. I asked what happened to the shifting issue. By then I'd already found Doug's and was going to give them a chance because of a really great initial conversation that showed me they knew much more than the Jeep Dealership. Josh explained about. They only charged me for a single hour of work. In my opinion, they undercharged me. It was an incredible experience and Josh knows his s***. I'm 63 and female.... Rairdon saw me coming. Josh and the team and Doug's are nothing but kind and helpful. I've never felt like I was being taken advantage of or overcharged. They always let us know after our appointments when there may be things like new tires or brakes that we have to consider in the coming months, so we always know what to expect. Not only that, but when my husband's clutch went out last year, the first thing we did was call Doug's and, even though that isn't within their remit, they gave us a great recommendation for who we could have our car towed to for the repair. We moved from Kirkland to Seattle in 2020, but continue to drive over the bridge and drop our cars off for each service appointment because we like them and their service that much!

Kevin also took the time to demonstrate to me on the old part why it was time to replace the wheel and how we prevented damage to the engine be doing proactive maintenance. It's always reassuring to meet someone who is so excited about his craft that he is willing to explain all the inner workings of the engine and how each part is connected. I was in and out in a reasonable time and most importantly, I was not stranded whenever the part would eventually fail. I get all my oil changes done here now too because of the complimentary inspection that they do on the rest of the vehicle so I won't get any unexpected surprises.

My back right tire was continuing to lose air and I was filling it every few weeks. I finally brought it in after it got lower than usual. The mechanic was great at dumbing things down for me and giving me all the options. He said they could fix it, but that my tires were in really bad shape and it might be better to replace them all instead. I wasn't sure if this was just sales, but he took me to look at my tires compared to new ones and WOW. Whoops, my bad for never replacing them. I told him that I work from home and really only drive to see friends or go to appointments and hardly ever go over the pass, and he showed me some discount tires that would work for my needs without any extras. I liked that he gave me several quotes and options but still recommended the least expensive based on my needs, felt very genuine. He also didn't judge me when I asked what "fixing my alignment means" and showed me how my alignment would affect my driving. This also felt like a genuine add on. For a full set of new tires and alignment repair, I was there an hour and a half. The waiting room is HUGE! Tons of seating and plugs, plus they had popcorn and water. Really clean too. I brought my airpods, laptop, and ipad so I could work and watch tv while I was there. Free fast wifi too! It was a wonderful, quiet, clean place to wait. When I was checking out, the sales associate said that the would send me reminders to get my tires rotated so these would last me as long as possible. This was awesome, because I know I would forget. Within 20 seconds of driving off I FELT the difference in my car. I regret waiting so long to go in and get everything checked out!

I had to stop by Toyota Kirkland yesterday as the message "engine oil is low. Add more or replace it" keeps coming even though the engine oil had been changed recently at Seattle Jiffy Lube. Also I felt my engine was a little louder and rough when driving since oil change on 1/15. Toyota technician said something's wrong during the latest oil change, so I'd better check with Jiffy first, then I might need get more service at Toyota with service fee. I doubt it but unbelibably it was true. After the inspection by Riley in Kirkland near there, I heard the wrong synthetic oil was put at Seattle Jiffy. How could it be possible? I was so surprised. Riley accepted their fault and kindly explained me that he will drain all wrong oil and replace it with the right one. I was very uncomfrtable because what if this wrong oil already damaged to my pretty new care (2018 Toyota Camry) engine and transmission. But I was relieved at the same time when he shared his plan to fix their mistake. While Riley was doing his job, mgr CJ came to me and apologized again like Riley did. He explained: the oil was a no read and the filter was not tight, so all fixed now while wrong oil flushed and new oild replced. He also called Seattle location to make sure it won't happen again. I have used Jiffy Lube in Lynnwood more than 15 years and now moved to Kirkland. On my way home yesterday, I talked to myself: it can happen and it's okay as my car problem is fixed now. And they will pay more attention to not happening again for future customers as of now. Jiffy Lube was almost lost one of their faithful customers. But, thanks to Riley, CJ, and Isaac (who immediately gave me a coffee), I will keep my loyalty with Jiffy Lube. Thanks for all of your professionalism at Totem Lake Jiffy Lube! read more

Came here for a quick oil change. He suggested I get my tires rotated. Since they have never been rotated I thought it was worth doing. The car is only just over a year old. As I was waiting, the technician came in and said that one of my lug nuts had been stripped and asked if I had extras? Why would I have extras? I said no, and he offered to go to discount tires and get one. I said "do whatever you have to do". A few min later he comes back in and says his manager won't let him because the nut was stripped when I brought it in. I said that is not true, because it's a new car and those tires have never been off of the car and it had to have been stripped when he took it off. I asked to speak to the manager. When he came in He continued to argue with me about how it HAD to be stripped before I got here, and then abruptly said, "it's fine I'll buy you some new lugs". Then he walked out and threw the stripped lug nut across the oil bay area. What happen to the customer is always right. Even though I KNOW that lug was not stripped when I came in, he did not need to be a dick. The technician was very sweet, and didn't charge me for the tire rotation. When I left he told me that it was not my lug nut and that the stud that the lug nut goes on was bad and I needed to go to the dealer to get it fixed. Last time jiffy did my oil they left the oil cap off and a mile down the road I had no oil! Never again. read more

I was extremely pleased by the upbeat and professional service I received today at the Jiffy lube in Kirkland, Washington- (Shop -2054). The supervisor(Kenny) and the crew were great! From start to finish. I initially was going to get just my annual oil change, but after thinking on it I ended up getting both my oil/transmission serviced. They really did a great job. Kenny and the staff at the Kirkland jiffy lube were courteous and respectful. After they had finished, Kenny went over a checklist with me. I really appreciate how they do that. It allows us as the customer to see everything that the crew does, alleviating any doubt that you might have forgotten something in the process. I know it was helpful to me. I have been to this jiffy lube many time, and it is in fact the only jiffy lube in the area i will take my car to. many of the jiffy lube's around here are pretty disgusting but this one is the only place i feel safe bringing my care... the customer service is wonderful, they are always quick and never pressure me to purchase anything above and beyond. i love that they inform me of all of my options. all of the employees there are friendly and delightful to be around. as for the first review on here, i know that the totem lake jiffy lube dose not rotate tires, they do not have the equipment to perform that service as i have asked for myself in the past hoping i would not have to take my care anywhere but to them. read more

Great service from Lydia and her team. I needed my headlight fixed and needed new wipers. Lydia greeted me immediately and directed me where to park. It took her less then 5 minutes to fix everything. She found that there was something loose with my lights and resolved the issue for me. I was about to pay but she said you're all set and took care of the charge for me. I appreciated that very much and will make this my Jiffy Lube of choice! read more

Got great service today from the Totem Lake shop. Josh was knowledgeable and pointed out a couple of unrelated issues with my vehicle that I was already aware of, but it's good to know that they check. I arrived early and was in and out pretty quickly. I wasn't really thinking about covid protocols but they have precautions and they do the service while you stay in the car so I appreciate that. Mike called us around noon and explained everything. Very professional, unassuming, and candid. I appreciated that he took the time to explain what was done, what needed to be done based on specific issues that were found, and addressed the items they could not diagnose. He even went so far as to explain how issues are diagnosed and that nothing had come up for one of our concerns. Everyone we encountered was friendly, knowledgeable and candid. Asked for a quote for a service using email several times. The unidentified person using the…read moregeneric shop name in the email was given the make, model and year of the vehicle but kept insisting he needed the VIN number and license number in order to give a quote. I cut off the conversation after being messed with long enough. Never got what I needed in order to determine if I wanted them to work on my vehicle. No one else said they needed this information in order to give a quote. Their loss.

Today, I went to…read moreanother mechanic for a minor issue, and they checked battery and said it is critically low and I should replace right then. I said no thank you - as I always go to Fisher's for any repairs. I called and said I am in the area, can I stop by? Sure enough, they said come on over, took a look (5 min!) and said that my battery has at least another 1-2 years left on it, and no need to replace yet. James gave me the report (all for free btw). And I see that measurements are different although two tests were done within 2 hours of eachother, making the other mechanic's numbers lower! Holly Molly, Fisher is the only honest mechanic in town!

This shop is even better than I expected, even after everything I've heard about it and the excellent reviews. I just took in my 2006 Honda Pilot to have the suspension inspected. I now have a peace of mind, and a better idea of when I need to come back for break work. Other shops would have charged me for all kinds of unnecessary service. Honda Bellevue has been bugging me for years to replace the break pads, but Omni confirmed that I have plenty of time left, with my worst brake pads at 25-30% of life left in them. I respect the honesty and integrity of the owner and the top notch mechanics at this highly-respected shop. Omni Brake and Alignment is one of the rare gems that we are lucky to have in our area.
