There are closer oil change places, but we bring our cars to this one. They do a great job and check all your fluid levels, air in the tires, belts, etc. At some places I'm leery of such recommendations because they try to upsell you when you don't need it, but at this one they have only recommended the things we do need. Our car was making a whirring noise for a while like a sewing machine; my husband said it was the transmission fluid, but he hadn't bothered checking it. Lo and behold, at Jiffy Lube they said we should replace the transmission fluid. We had a complete fluid replacement(recommended at 60K miles; our car has a bit more) and they also pointed out the filters needed replacing (which was true). The filters were about the same price you'd pay at an auto parts store, maybe a few bucks more, so it was worth having them do it while they had everything taken apart. My car is running like new! Also, they are courteous, they do ask before they do any extra work, and they were done with everything in about 45 minutes. You can walk to the Starbucks-- there's one at Vons in the shopping center, or one up the street, or walk to Lake Murray while you wait. Or you can wait in their air-conditioned waiting room and watch Jerry Springer. read more

We got here before they opened so we could be seen first. Warmly greeted by a woman who took our information quickly as we arrived. Very professional. Immediately after we get checked in two more vehicles showed up and I could hear her say "Really? Already?" And the other attendant muttered with irritation in his voice "It's fuckin' Sunday". I can understand being a little frustrated, but I would like to assume that having so many clients even at 8am on a Sunday is a good thing (aren't weekends usually busy at all businesses?). They performed the inspection and service quickly, vacuumed the vehicle and we were done in approximately 40 minutes. Groupon was being finicky and wouldn't discount the service. But they honored it anyways, thankfully. Other than the slight lapse of professionalism, overall an okay place for the price. read more

Came here for a break fluid flush. They had 4 guys working on my car who, all 4, didn't even know what they were doing. I was at first quoted $89 for just the flush and fluid added. After the service was done and I was about to pay they asked me if I wanted all 4 flushed (I didn't even know there was even 4 to flush) and then a guy asked another guy how much it would be.. another guy said it would be $350 from the front and $700 for from and back. HOWWWWWW does the number jump from $89 to $350 to $700?? I asked him to explain the break down and thennnn after he started mumbling on he said $70 for today's service but $350 if I were to get my break pads changed. He "took measurement" of how thick they were and told me I'd need it to get fixed. SIDE NOTE: This car was purchased in July with all brand new pads and rotors so I know none of it needed to be done. JUST ANOTHER REPAIR SHOP FISHING FOR SCAM MONEY. After I got home I did some research on the shop to find another lady who got her car done here and was also told the same thing: she needed new pads and rotors for the price of $350. Not a coincidence. Just a script for more money. You know what the real script is though? Their response to all these complaints on Yelp. No real customer service or integrity, just copy and pasting LOL. Definitely not trusting them with my car again. Next time could be a lot worse. read more

Been here 2x now for a regular oil change and was recommended by someone else. I call beforehand to find out what the wait is. I've been in and out in 15 minutes both times going there in the morning. I appreciate the window washing, car vacuum, and fluid top off services. Yes, they will inundate you with various types of oils at higher prices. Yes, they will tell you what additional services they think you need. But, they have yet to push me to buy any of these services. I just politely say "thank you for letting me know, but I just want to get an oil change today". However, it's a good reminder for myself to see if I do need any services done soon. read more

Do not trust. They take shortcut by pressurizing the engine to push/suck the oil out of the dipstick hole so that they don't have to bother with the drain plug. This isn't the right way to change oil. AND Now my car is leaking.oil all over the place with oil smoking on the engine and splattered all over the front of the car! What the hell? read more

I was absolutely shocked by the way I was treated. I came in to see if they could refill my brake fluid and check my brake pads to make sure there was nothing wrong. My brake lights light up on my consul so I just wanted to play it safe and make sure everything was good. There was some wrong alright. They tried to tell me that my brakes in the back were very thin, and I needed new rotors for both back wheels. Quoted me $350 to drain my brake fluid and refill it and that my front brakes need replacing too. Keep in mind, I just got all 4 brakes re done 1yr prior so my brakes and rotors didn't need replacing. They quoted me $700 all together for "what I needed" in regards to my brakes. When I told the guy that I would have to come back later, b/c that price was just so outrageous too me, he gave me an attitude as if I took money from him and completely disregarded me when I was being polite to him when I left. Stay away from this place!! They target women thinking they can price gauge them b/c we wouldn't know what the right price would be. Thank god I went to a brake inspection place and they didn't charge me for the brake fluid I needed and confirmed that all my brakes and rotors were just fine! read more

You pull up and they ignore you for 20 minutes. The sign says stay in your car, so I called. At least they pickup the phone quickly, that's what earned them any stars. You have to wait in your car for however long it takes. There were two cars in front of me and it was going to take 40 minutes, at least, on top of the 20 minutes I already spent being ignored. I'm an Uber and Lyft driver. Juan helped me to inspect my vehicle so I can get back on the road. Cost was just over $22 for Uber and $14 for Lyft. The guys are fast and had no line. The Jiffy Lube in Miramar was an hour and a half to wait. Go here. Guys are great. read more

Second review- Just finished my second service with this Jiffy Lube location, and had the same girl that helped me before, and the staff servicing my vehicle were fast and professional. The staff doing the oil change let me know that the skid plate had a few missing bolts (which he didn't have to do), and I appreciate it very much. Happy holidays. I came to get my oil changed by Dennis and Oscar who got me in 30 minutes before close with no hesitation. They not only changed my oil quickly and efficiently, they checked and added air to my tires, as well as cleaned all my windows!! Sooooo disappointed, I received a oil change and a new air filter. Just discovered that the air filter box was never screwed on AT ALL and the hose was never reconnected to the engine. I just failed my SMOG test and had to go home and try to reconnect it myself. The air filter was pure white having never been connected properly. I had to pay to retake my SMOG test. As a single mother I do not have the time or the money to be dealing with such thoughtlessness. Thankfully no permanent damage was done to my car. I will not be going to Jiffy Lube again read more

I had a Lyft inspection for my BMW 550i at this location and had never been here before. I was directed right into the bay and off they went. I was told I could wait inside and it shouldn't be long. It seemed like no more than three minutes went by when Thomas popped in and handed me my keys. I had to confirm they were done because it was so quick. Gabriel was the second guy. I came out From lunch and my tire pressure light was on. So I googled Jiffy Lube to have the tires checked really quickly and found there was a flat. They were nice enough to check the tire for me and fill it said that I was able to get across the street to firestone to get a new tire. Very helpful read more

This location charged me over $300 for an oil change with new filters plus a radiator flush. The radiator flushing machine had dead leaves and dirt visibly floating in the fluid, which was a medium rusty color. Never going here again. read more

I have had it with the customer service they provide, i had no choice today and i needed to get my car so i thought i try them one more time. Again disappointing. i have a a couple cars i bring to them before numerous times through out the year, and always they give you a paper and tell you what they did. well the last 5 visits has same result, wash window vacuum car etc etc. i pick up car and none was done even though on paper it said completed. if they do this how do i know they even put oil in the car ? I have already spoken to manager ( i think it was ) when i caught it the first time, all they did is apologize and say we make sure it wont happen again, 4 more times and im done. My husband took his work truck in too jiffy lube because he really needed an oil change and he said the workers didn't ask him what kind of oil he wanted or tell him the prices or ask him for any information. They put full synthetic without telling him . He wanted just regular oil. Just because someone takes there work truck in doesn't give them any right to give someone the most expensive oil. He said they didn't look professional or talk professional and they seemed like they were high while working. I also took my regular car there before and they didnt even know how to reset the oil life percentage, also 2,000 miles in and it already feels like it needs an oil change. I will not be recommending this location and I will not be coming back for any further oil changes. read more

Came in for a basic oil change and that's exactly what I got. My receipt claims they checked my wiper blades, tire pressure, filters and various fluids along with a variety of other things. None of the items in their "service checklist" that I could easily observe through my "washed" windshield were ever actually attempted. Can't say for sure if anything under the car was checked but I did see one employee diligently checking his phone for some time. Also, the employee at the computer decided that my last name would now be "Schite". Have to say I was extremely unimpressed with this place and will never return.
