I usually like going to this location, so this is why I'm disappointed on the service I got today. They weren't busy so I thought I would have had better service. When I got in the car I noticed they didn't change the reminder sticker on the windshield and they had not vacuumed. Looking at the invoice, it says the vacuuming was completed as well as the windows. Since it was raining, I didn't except the windows to be cleaned, but don't lie and say they were. If you're not going to do a service that I'm paying for, don't mark it as done. Don't lie to your customers. I doubt much of what was on the invoice was done. Very disappointing. Cant follow simple instructions. Told them to mix my oil with lucas. I come back to my car and the lucas is still in the car unopened after they've already dome the oil change. Simple instructions. They really suck and over priced. I have a new car and the engine light turns on when the oil change is needed. They didn't double check what I asked. They are not knowledgeable at all. They said it will cost 50 dollars to turn it off. When I've got my oil changed from 3 different places and they did it all and oil change for less. Even rotated my tires. Then I googled it and found out how to turn it off. Honestly, really ashamed of this location being in my neighborhood. Not only this, is my second time giving them a chance. The first time I took another car. And they didn't even notice a lot of things. My brakes and radiator failed on my way to Vegas. They could of told me the stand point. I hate this place so much. I went for an oil change Saturday morning, there was quite a long line. I waited about an hour and a half before asking "Vidal" when my car would be serviced? He quoted another 30 mins max. As soon as he spoke, it was if the gates opened up, and I was outta there within less time than he quoted. The service was excellent, and they were kind. Qwinton, Jose, and Bryce, helped tremendously from the time I drove in, they were super cool and willing to communicate. Plus it seemed like everyone was enjoying there day at work. Alright, since my first review, I've encountered quite a few problems with this location. 1) I was billed to join their membership club without my authorization. 2) I've paid for tire rotations that I'm now 99.2% certain were not performed. I'm sitting in the waiting area while writing this. The existing reviews are meaningless because THIS IS NOT A CAR WASH! It's a place where you can get a quick oil change and top off of fluids when needed. I have a lifetime air filter and I let them clean it when necessary. These people just work here and they HAVE TO offer you all the other stuff. If you don't want it, simply say no. I had a great experience at Jiffy Lube in North Long Beach. The manager Vidal Zamora was very helpful and informative.

So, this place has lost my trust completely. The first time I went in for an oil change, the "salesman" tried to tell me that my radiator was EMPTY. He didn't say low, he said EMPTY. Being a former mechanic, I know that if it was empty, my car would be overheating. I brushed this incident off and left (I did check the radiator and it was fine) The second time I came in for an oil change, the same salesman told me that my differential was EMPTY. Again, it wasn't low, it was supposedly EMPTY. I started to panic after he said this, and declined their $90 differential fluid service, and decided to take it home and inspect myself...guess what, not only was the factory sealant still on the drain/fill plugs (indicating that no one had ever opened them!), the fluid level was fine, as was the fluid.... The salesman lied straight to my face. I will never trust, or go to this business again. read more

En route from LA to OC I decided to stop here to get my oil change. I got my big packet of "Valu-coupons" and had been saving up for my super discounted oil change. This was one of the ten or so Jiffy Lubes listed. I have been to Jiffy Lube before. Their service was fine. But it was everything but the service that had me running out of there: "Your filters are fine, but it looks like you need your gasoline pipes clean and your battery is dangerously low and you should get the special high mileage oil and..." So I watched the Jiffy Lube guy click, click, click on his computer: "...and, with the discount, it will be $324.11." WTF. So I systematically had him deleted everything but the initial oil change which is all I had come in for. Then I called my dealership, read him the level my battery was running at, which he said was more than adequate for my car. Additionally, the number he quoted me for the average running Acura (which is inscribed on the battery itself, was much higher than the real number). My long winded point: my potential $160 battery change was never needed in the first place. They'll bring you in for the coupon, but they'll hustle your wallet empty if you don't stay on your toes. read more

They try to up-sell everything and offer services you don't need. I felt like i was being sold some gimmick from an infomercial, it was that bad. The biggest joke of my visit today? The printed receipt saying, "wash exterior windows: completed" -- when they so weren't!!! Line up if you have lots of money you're dying to get rid of ... Even though I called ahead and asked about the price of the Signature Service and was quoted $24.95, it ended up being $207.00! (And I had a $10 off coupon!) I was told I needed a new air filter and a radiator fluid exchange, which I agreed to at a lower price. However, when it came time to pay, my car 'needed 8 quarts of oil' - why wouldn't they know that ahead of time - which, of course, costs more. Can't help but feel 'icky' when leaving ... feeling like I was taken for a ride (and not the good kind). read more

I was just at the location a few minutes ago. This my second visit and it's gonna take a bit of kissing ass to get this customer back. I walked in and no one was at the counter. Stood there for about five minutes and during that time-frame at least two employees walked into the showroom, with neither one of them acknowledging me at all. I work at a tire shop and even my employees and I acknowledge those customers who have yet to be assisted. Step ya game up if you don't want to lose any more customers. read more

I agree with Earl B.'s review. I have had my vehicles serviced by Jiffy Lube for a number of years. As a matter of convenience, i generally will only have my wiper blades or air filter changed in addition to an oil change. The staff at this location promptly greeted me this morning and did the normal routine of checking the brake lights, etc. the oil change was completed in 20 minutes and I was on my way. I appreciated their friendliness and professional attitudes. read more

Job was done quickly but I'm not confident that it was actually done correctly. One of the guys was helpful but seemed frustrated things not being done. Go out to get my car after paying: 1. Oil cap isn't on 2. Go to get in my car and plastic wrap is still on my seat and paper mat on floor. 3. Drive away and look up to see they forgot to replace mileage sticker despite telling me they did. These are all minor issues but just doesn't make me confident that the oil change I paid $90 for was done properly. Hopefully I am wrong. read more

Yesterday my oil light went on noting 2%, so off to Jiffy Lube I went first thing this morning. First on line and ready for my regular oil change service at this location. I was extremely pleased after a courteous young man named John checked my car, then reviewed my car service history on the computer. He walked in to see me holding the oil stick in his hand. John explained that I did NOT need an oil change with my low mileage since my last visit, it must be a glitch and said he would have the sensor light reset. The point is that John could have easily had staff change the oil and bill me for unnecessary service. An honest serviceman; surely a rarely in today's world. But, there he was; at Jiffy Lube. Not until they were done with my oil change and charged me did they tell me their vacuum was broken. And only because I asked, did they have someone wash my windows. That's not ok. Today I went to Jiffy Lube because they were offering 25% off all services. The female manager, Lorie was quite helpful but I found it funny my car was finished in less than 10 minutes. Not only did I pay for an oil change, but Fuel cleaning and new windshield wipers I went to my car and the Maintenance light was still lit and carpets weren't vacuumed. So I drove back in and mentioned the services weren't completed and I sensed a bit of a attitude bringing the corrections to their attention. Well they didn't even do the windshield wipers until I drove back in!!! Again Lorie, thanks for great customer service and explanation of services, but your mechanics need to work on doing the job that is advertised with the services. read more

I'm getting ready to sell my 1993 Honda Accord, and decided to get all it's routine maintenance taken care of before giving it away. I've been to other out-of-state Jiffy Lube locations before and they've never disappointed me. After reading this particular location's reviews, I had a feeling of disbelief for one of my favorite oil change locations and decided to stop by and see for myself. Right as I pulled up to the garage I was greeted immediately, and escorted into the lobby where I was offered hot coffee and water. The waiting area was pretty spacious, and I hardly waited 5 minutes before they called me up to the desk to discuss service options. The guy at the counter was extremely kind and personable and informed me of my options other than the oil change I came in for. He didn't pressure me to get any services and took into account the age of my car and what would be best to keep my old Accord running strong. The transmission fluid service he suggested (due to my transmission fluid being thinned out over years of use) was a little pricey, but after explaining to him how low on money I was he adjusted a few things and lowered the price! The oil change and transmission service only took about 20 minutes :) I will definitely keep coming back, and I'll be recommending them to my friends & family. Bottom line is they're friendly, informative (without being pushy to sell their other services), and they're quick but thorough with the services they provide. Great job, Jiffy Lube :) read more
