This Jiffy Lube is the best. The employees are very friendly, accommodating, and answer all questions with a smile. They are thorough with their explanations when recommending a service and go above and beyond for the customer. Nearly every time that I've gone, they've been able to get started on my services right away. On the rare occasion where there is a wait, it is never very long. The lobby is comfortably set up with chairs (six feet apart), a water cooler and a TV. They even put a red carpet for you to walk on as you head back to your car. Went for oil change and tire rotation yesterday afternoon about 1:00p. A few cars in front of me took about 20 min. to get serviced. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, checked in with Yelp and they had a link to Jiffy Lube site for $15.00 off coupon. Cabin filter was a bit pricy, $49.00 and the synthetic oil & oil filter was only slightly less. Next time I'll just have to remember to buy the filters at Walmart first save a few bucks. The folks over at the Long Beach Jiffy Lube off of seventh work really quick & helped me as soon as I drove up. I appreciate the customer service at this place and the speed in service. I've been going here for a few years and they usually get me in and out within 10-15 minutes on a Saturday morning or afternoon. They always vacuum my and clean the windows, so I come back. During my last visit, they forgot to connect a few things after taking the air filter out and long story short my radiator fluid starting leaking out. I took it to a mechanic to get check out the day after the oil change and they figured out the problem and no big deal. I contacted jiffy lube to tell them the situation. They weren't super receptive to what I was saying initially, but then I sent them an email and they understood that I wasn't trying to con them and it was just a simple error. They reimbursed me for the mechanic as well as the oil change, which I greatly appreciate! It was a simple oversight that is bound to happen every now and again, so I really appreciate them making me whole for it. They probably don't like me because I got a little crazy on the phone (the day before Thanksgiving) but I will go back here and I would recommend it to you as well! Clean location with friendly staff. Books available for kids and DIY network on TV- who doesn't love DIY? They didn't have my synthetic oil so they ordered it right away and in 15 minutes it was here. Oil change and inspection was thorough. Windows were cleaned and floors vacuumed! I really enjoyed this location and will be back. Very helpful! Also used a coupon for my service so saved a few dollars. Also the girl at the desk walked us out to the car and even opened our doors. I wanted to update the community regarding my experience at this Jiffy Lube location. Today I was taken care of by management regarding a prior customer service concern. I was quite pleased with how management bent over backwards to take care of my oil change. In addition, a light bulb was replaced, front carpets were vacuumed as well as windows washed. Had a little car trouble today heading to work noticed Jiffy Lube was opening their doors, pulled up asked the manager if he could check my car to see what was wrong and with a smile he said he would be glad to take a look and asked me to have a cup of coffee while I wait. It seemed I ran over some plastic bag on the road and it was stuck on the exhaust system, he said he would scrape most of it off so I would see any smoke or feel the smell of burning under the car. while I was there they also noticed one tire was low in air and they inflated it for me. after he was done I asked him if I owed him anything he smiled and said no there isn't any charge but next time I am due for a service to give them the chance to take care of it for me. CONSUMER BEWARE!!! 1. Went to this Jiffy Lube to get a regular oil change, when I get there they start asking where you work and if you can get them a job. It gets to a point where you start to feel uncomfortable just being there. 2. Jiffy Lube put the wrong oil filter in my car and seized up my engine. 3. Jiffy Lube was kind of enough to pay for the parts and labor to fix the issue. 4. My car was never the same after that. Issue upon issue kept happening to my car and started to cost up to $2,000 out-of-pocket. 5. I literally did not have my car for about two months and when I got it back, it died in two days. Car was given back to me then broke down again. 6. Then finances started to be costly as Jiffy Lube indicated that the services that needed to be fixed were not part of the agreement for the initial repairs. 7. All problems that happened started because of the Jiffy Lube oil change, and now they don't want to cover the rest of the job? Lucky for them I don't have another car for me to use while I could have token them to court for the car that got messed up. What ended up happening at the end was me selling that car. I paid $2,000 just to get up and running for me to have somewhat of a value when trading the car in. All in all, what was supposed to cost $30 for a simple oil change came up to 3 months of frustration and anger and now a car payment that will reach up to $20,000 after I finish paying off the car I had to buy all because of Jiffy Lube. My lesson is learn at a very high expense, but I know now to never go to a Jiffy Lube, EZ lube, or any quick oil change places like that. Oil change. I called ahead of time to see if I needed an appointment and what the price was. They said it was $42 with a $12 discount. She asked what kind of oil I needed and I said "standard" aka whatever is cheapest. However, they advertise $29 then upon arrival tell you your car needs synthetic oil for $80. Employee tells me this while holding up my dusty air vents telling me I breath this in and need them changed as well. I said $80 is too much for an oil change and I have never paid close to that in the past. My car is 5 years old and has never needed a $80 oil change. He did not try to make me stay at all. No negotiating. I would have never stopped here had I known it was $80. Pros At least he told me ahead of time before charging me. Employees were friendly and courteous. read more

Best service I've received when getting my car repaired in Long Beach. They were quick, professional, and friendly. The waiting room has a TV and magazines while you wait. My battery replacement costed around $140 after taxes. They start at $129 and go up depending on your car and which type of battery you need. The process took around 25 minutes on a Sunday with a few people ahead of me. They made things easy for me. I'll be back here for future repairs. read more

Went to this Jiffy Lube a year and a half ago. A employee took my keys and I went inside. Tried to tell the counter person I needed my radiator flushed but was told to take a seat until I was called. Twenty minutes later I was asked by the counter person what kind of oil I wanted, My reply was I not there for a oil change but a coolant flush. The counter person rushed to the service area to stop them from completely draining my oil. Long story short my coolant was changed, not flushed, the drained oil was not replaced, and the cap to the overflow tank was put on wrong, resulting in half a year of my car overheating until the mistake was discovered by my mechanic. This is a great place. I had contemplated taking my car to the dealers for a transmission fluid exchange, oil change, but came here instead after some research (and due to my dealer now being really far since my move to LBC). Jiffy Lube pricing for the oil change was $30 MORE than at the dealer, but the transmission fluid exchange was $130 LESS. So, it was a no brainer. I didn't have to wait on a Saturday afternoon drop off and it was fast. They were fast and the guy who helped me was really great. :) read more

So I had just went to another jiffy lube and was very upset. When I there the man was very nice. I told him exactly what I needed. Regular oil change nothing else. I went in firm with what I wanted done. The next came in to show me my service. He said my took synthetic oil. It would be $90. I told him it takes regular and I had just gotten off the phone with my dealer to confirm. It was regular oil. The guy argued and said no it take synthetic why would your dealer tell you that. That my dealer was wrong. I said no it takes regular like he didn't believe and that I was lying. I felt embarrassed like I was losing my mind. Had I been told wrong. He showed me the oil that was last put in the car. He tried to pass it as synthetic. It wasn't. It was regular. So at that point I was so upset ended up compromising what my car took ad what I wanted. I called my dealer and my mother who drove the car before, the car had never used synthetic oil. Always regular. What's up with that! So I spent more money that I needed. And that interaction was not ok. I feel like I can't go by myself now because men treat women like they are stupid and don't know what's up. Not true!! read more

Needed nitrogen in my left rear tire on a Sunday afternoon and the only place open that could provide the service was unfortunately Jiffy Lube.. First of all, when I got in my tire had 33lbs of pressure. I opted to get N2 in all tires.. Big mistake!! They connected the N2 on all tires and 20 minutes later all 4 of my tires had 14lbs of pressure.. They told me their tank ran out and they needed to replace it.. Wow! 20 minutes later still waiting for them to replace the tank. Needless to say I won't be back here. And they're extremely unprofessional.. read more

I have been here 3 times in the last 9 months or so, and every time I pay $85+ for a 'signature synthetic oil change', they claim that I also need wiper blades, tire rotation and oil filter, upping my total to about $150. The fact that they did it again this time even though I paid to have it all done the last time I was there tells me they're ripping people off. Plus, their reminder sticker that tells me when I'm 'due' for another service actually lists a mileage that is only 2400 miles greater than what I drive out of their store with. This place is a waste of time. They advertise $27.99 oil change but they told me the only oil they have of the type I need is synthetic and it's $80. When I said I would go elsewhere they said wait, I think we have a coupon it's $13 off. I said thanks but I will pass. The guy came back again and said his manager would give me their cost of $54 since it's my first time there. No thanks. Really at that point it was the principle of the matter that they tried to bait and switch. I have a newer Honda Civic. Well I paid $270 and after I'm on the road an employee from Jiffy Lube calls me to tell me they forgot to put the cap nack on. I was on my way back and got pissed just thinking, if they foget my cap then what else did they for get????? When I spoke to the manager all he said, "It was just a mistake." JUST A MISTAKE?!?!?!?! If they had forgotten to put oil in my car and my motor blew up! They would take the responsibility! Would that just be a mistake? I do NOT pay for mistakes!!!!!! I have been a loyal customer for many years, so when they recently refused my free top off (which I hardly ever do) within the allotted miles and everything, I took my business to Midas and am much happier. I went in for an oil change with a fully functioning car. They told me my battery power was low and it should be replaced. I declined, but when they went to restart my car it wouldn't start. After 10 minutes of trying to jump my car, they found that the battery had been "inadvertently" disconnected. Once reconnected, the car started without issue. I will never trust my car to them again. read more
