I had my oil changed at this location a couple months ago. Today, I went to a local auto store to get a new car battery and the sales associate pointed out my oil cap resting on top of the engine block under my hood. My hood hasn't been opened since my oil change at this Jiffy Lube location. I can only infer that the cap was never put back on after the oil change. I have a previous review from years ago about how much I would recommend this business and how excellent the customer service was...now unfortunately the service and management has become lazy and rude. I come here for routine oil changes. Twice now when I drive up to the service lane, no one greets me. The workers will be staring right at me, and then turn the other way. It wasn't busy when I showed up, just two other cars and it looked like the staff was hanging out talking. After a few more minutes one worker greets me at my window, but he seems so annoyed I'm there. "It will be an hour, you still want an oil change?" I say yes and he tells me he'll call when it's ready. An hour later I get a phone call, but when I pick up no one answers. I walk over to jiffy lube, past the workers who are all sitting again, and inside where no one is there except another customer. He said "you'll have to go out there, they called a bunch of names and they've just been sitting out there." I poke my head out the door and I say, "I think you guys called me." They all look at each other and then one guy reluctantly walks inside to the cash register. I apply a coupon and pay, thank them, the guy doesn't thank me or say much and I leave to get my car parked outside. I think the manager came to my window when I almost drove off to see if my maintenance light was on, I say thank you again and drive off. 2 minutes into driving away, my glove compartment box falls off! Falls completely out. I rarely open that thing and I've had my new car for a year, things shouldn't be falling off like that. I pull over and try to put it back in but it's crooked. I drive back because I want to make sure it's not broken, and this time they all look nervous. I get out of my car and walk to the worker who greeted me before, and he really says "oil change?". I was probably gone for 6 minutes total. I say no, I was just here, I think someone broke my glove compartment, it fell off when I left just now." Everyone there is glaring at me. I stand there while the manager and worker put it back in and they both say "it's fine." And I said "can you check again, I feel like the back plastic is broken." The other guy rolls his eyes at me. Again they check and the manager goes "sorry bout that but it's fine now." And I just get back in my car and before I even pull out, the manager goes to all his workers, points behind him in my direction and is shaking his head and I hear them go "Whatever man" and grinning like it was funny. Seriously, I felt so uncomfortable there, the guys are rude and it's clear that one of them put my glove compartment box in with zero effort and didn't check. Also, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but oil was leaking on the driveway from when I went a few months ago, so won't be coming back for a simple oil change. My uncle who goes here too also mentioned the same thing and that the manager is pretty rude. Should've listened to him. read more

I took my vehicle in for an oil change and they recommended I get new brakes so I took it back for brakes thinking they were reliable. When I got there they told me it would be about 1-2 hours so I decided to wait as I had sometime. Four hours later they are still working on my car telling me they had to let the breaks sit but the truth was they messed the emergency brake system up and did not know how to repair it and were stalling. So after all that time they decided to give the car back to me not telling me what they had done. As soon as I sit in the car all the break sensors start to go off and one of the tech's that worked on it along with his manager who walked away so he wouldn't have to justify what he did let the younger employee try to explain what went wrong and they claimed it was a recall issue and to have the dealer look into it. I informed them I would take it back to the dealer and if they indicate it was on there part they would have to pay for the repairs done. They informed me that they would absolutely take care of it if it pointed back to them. So I came back after the dealers made the repairs to the broken break harness and the manager insisted the dealer made unjust repairs and denied of doing any damage. Not only did these guy let me drive out of there shop with damaged breaks not only putting me and my family in danger they also placed all others on the road in danger. The manager told me he would let the owner know about the damage claim and have yet to hear back from him. I have decided to edit my review as the owner did come through and paid for the damages. Only wish I didn't get the resistance from the manager when they recommended to have the dealer check out the problem. read more

WOW! This is my first time to Jiffy Lube and I have to say this location rocks. From the first moment that I pulled up, I was pleasantly surprised and how quickly I was helped out and the friendliness of the staff that came to greet me. They were very efficient and listened to what my needs were without trying to up sale me in anyway. Every employee that I've talked to was very helpful and seemed that they sincerely loved their job. They were able to take care of everything with my car within 20 minutes and also explained to me in details of what they recommended. As I was leaving all 3 employees in the garage area told me to have a nice day all at the same time. I know it sounds silly, but the level of customer experience just really impressed me. I arrived approximately 8:15 on a Sunday morning to get an oil change. There was one employee and one other car that arrived before me. I was happily greeted by Irvin. He was professional, friendly and honest. He quoted me that my wait time was going to be about 40 minutes, due to being short staffed. It surprisingly took less than 20 minutes to get an oil change!! I would've given 5 stars, but $110 for a synthetic oil change is quite pricey. Luckily I had a $20 off coupon to help with the cost. I was just changing the rear tire but Tire Pressure Monitor Problem keeps light on again and again after they replaced a new tire.I drove there twice, and asked them to fix it. They even don't know what they are doing and can't diagnose the root cause.Even they didn't check it out at all and just pushed me out to the dealer.They are definitely running one time business and doesn't care about customer service at all.I am glad that I didn't give them any other repairs yet since changing a tire as a simple order can be seen how they treated their customers.If you are cared about your vehicle for safety, it is a wrong place to visit because they may create other issues which they will never resolve it after you paid.FYI-Be careful for your vehicle to repair here! read more

Do not visit this location for any reason. My car was taken in for an oil change and made it 2 blocks from the location. I had to put a new engine in the vehicle at a cost of 2600 dollars. The management of the location do not care and wont even discuss a resolution. Do not visit the Jiffy Lubes in Santa Clarita. Take your business elsewhere. As we were driving on the 5 freeway my tire pressure light came on my dash. I drove to this location thinking they could help me. Raul came out, a technician to see what i needed? I asked him if he would check my tires and pressure in them, as my light had just come on, and he said, "Oh, course I can." He just all four tires and filled them with air, and the light went off. He was very accommodating and went beyond the norm to assist me. I found out that Jiffy Lube's check out tire leaks, nails, and flats, and repairs them, which i did not know. Since i get my oil done at the Jiffy Lube in one of many locations, he saw that I was entitled for the free checkup of the fluids. Also, the tire thread was low and that I should pay attention to that, and that they also sell tires. After leaving my truck to have oil changed i return to find 2 techs inside the cab of my truck. One under my glove box and the other having a conversation with him acting in the driver's seat. The tech had removed my cabin filter and didn't know how to put it back. I got very,very upset and told them never to go in my cab again. It seems kind of weird to give Jiffy Lube an excellent review after what happened to my daughter's car. I got a call from my daughter that her car broke down. Since she goes to school In Northern California I wasn't able to help her. She called AAA, the driver loaded it on the flatbed, the oil drained out. He told her that the oil plug was gone and the engine seized up. I remember having the oil changed in December, we are now in the middle of February. I called Jiffy Lube corporate, they opened a claim. Within a couple of hours I got a call from owner Alberto Arguello. He was so helpful and apologetic. He told me that is not sure how it could have happened. He said that he would have the car repaired even if it meant replacing the engine. He gave me his personal cell, answering all my calls and texts. He drove 5 hours to pickup the car, replaced the engine and delivered the car back to my daughter. He was so professional and took responsibility even though he said that they go through a quality check. I WILL continue to take him my business. read more

Recently brought my friends Toyota Prius here for an oil change. Was very pleased so decided to bring my Mercedes c230 here and was provided just as excellent of service. Jonathan D is the service tech that performed my and he was very thorough in explaining the service and his additional recommendations were not only explained to me but physically shown to me. He was not trying to up-sell me or pressure me into having additional work done he was honest and understanding that I would need to wait a few weeks to have the other work done. The location is kind of in a weird spot, but it is clean and had coffee and water available in the waiting area. We brought our car in at 4:20pm and one of the employees came up to us and told us it would take an hour and 30 minutes for an oil change! This is insane! Jiffy lube needs to HIRE MORE WORKERS IF THEYRE SHORT STAFF! First of all it is a drive up (service) valvoline provides same service and they get the service done within 15 minutes! I will never be coming here again. Mario was rude and condescending. Also- we went next door for a car wash and two cars came right after us and they provided service to them right after we left.
