If you need to go here for just an oil change, they seem to be efficient as knowledgeable. Employees are friendly. We have been to this location several times without issue. Hence the 3 stars... However, for the first time, I took advantage of their service to rotate my tires. Long story short...they apparently do not have the "tool/system" to recalibrate my tires in their new position to the readings on my dash. They either didn't do it at all or correctly when I had my oil changed. It was when I had a low pressure alert on my dash and subsequently tried filling the wrong tire, that I realized something was off. I went back to jiffy lube and explained what had happened. The employee was helpful, but said he'd have to do it manually which would probably take some time and it was almost closing time. He tried, but ran out of time and suggested I take my car to another tire service store that "had the tool." My question is why offer a service if you don't have what is needed to properly do it!?! The other store (Firestone Tires on Lyons) has the needed tool for tires and changes oil...guess I'll be going there from now on.... read more

I've been to Jiffy Lube twice with two different cars over the years. Both times I left with something not working that worked before I brought it in. The first time they screwed up the electrical system in my Navigator and my car wouldn't start. This time I left without a working air conditioner. My car is only a few years old and it worked just fine when i took it in! And they suckered me out of $170 for an expensive oil change and filters!! NEVER EVER EVER EVER AGAIN JIFFY SCEW!!! HORRIBLE!!! I'm so upset I have to deal with another problem now! Go to Walmart, so much cheaper and I've never had them screw up my car!! read more

I have an older car and have to change the oil frequently. These guys are always professional and polite. They always tell me what is recommended (part of their job) but are always reasonable when I politely say no thank you. They also take the time to answer any questions I have. I had a great experience at this Jiffy Lube! Anthony was a great attendant, he was able to explain the services rendered and also offer a solution for the noisy brakes that Nissan at Valencia has had two years to address every 3 months and consistently says "All cars have noisy brakes". Lubricating the areas around the brakes took the sound right off! Thank you Jiffy Lube, Anthony, I most definitely will be back in 3 months. read more

LADIES BEWARE!! I don't know what kind of sales pressure or crazy incentives these guys get to upsell an oil change but they tried to upsell me 4 times before my leaving. The first point of contact walked straight up to my car without so much as even a glance at my tires and tried to talk me into a tire rotation for $19.95. I got out of my car and examined my tires and said "really? My good tires are on the front of my front wheel drive vehicle right where they belong." One would hope that this would have been the end of the conversation once he realized I was not a dumb woman he could upsell but he didn't stop there... His response - every car manufacturer recommends that the good tires be on the back of the vehicle. I responded that every tire store in the 14 years of owning this FRONT WHEEL DRIVE vehicle has always said the opposite but he just kept repeating that ALL the car manufactures say good tires on the back.... Ok maybe way back in the day before front wheel drive and before this kid was even born.... Ladies, if you don't know, the front wheels take care of steering and take the most abuse - this is the most absurd thing I have ever heard and I told him as much - of course he just kept repeating himself as if I WAS THE ONE MAKING THE GRAVE MISTAKE here and who knows how horrible the consequences would be! I get that rotating this time, just to tell me it was wrong the next time would equal 2 upsells but really, come on! Although he took my mileage, which was just under 250k and I told him I was buying a new car shortly and WOULD NOT BE ADDING ANY EXTRA SERVICES TODAY (especially after the first ridiculous go around), he tried to talk me into a coolant flush and another service, which I was so annoyed by that point I wasn't even listening - I have no idea what the second service was. On top of all this, the "free" window washing and front seat vacuuming included in my $69 oil change were never performed nor did I get a sticker for the next oil change on my windshield to remind me when I needed to come back - this is the second time in a row. Does Jiffy Lube not want people to come back for the next oil change or the owner/manager just doesn't bother keeping stickers in stock? When I called to complain that my windows and front seat had never been attended to they said oh just come back and we will do it for you - they already had my car for an hour and a half while I ran errands and I was the only vehicle in the shop at the time of drop off....Wait what?? The solution here is I have to come back AND WAIT because you all were too bored to do what was part of my service the first time? The last time I was at this Jiffy lube they were convinced that according to their records I had not been there in over 10,000 miles (which I had been there for last oil change and on time not to mention I could have went somewhere in between they didn't know about) but of course I should pay for extra services because my car must be a wreck waiting that long. This time they said 14,000 miles - where does this nonsense come from? That time I did end up buying some wiper blades from them and they managed to install one of them and left the other one in the exterior window tray. Luckily it did not fly off my windshield into oncoming traffic and cause a driver behind me to freak out and swerve wondering what the ??? was hailing 60 miles an hour in the air towards their vehicle and cause a pile up before I discovered it laying there and had to install it myself. BUYER BEWARE!!! I will certainly never be back. It is super clear to me that no one is paying ANY attention and they are either lying or just don't know what they are doing. As bad as both those scenarios are, I actually hope its the latter.... read more

I generally take my car to the dealer for service but occasionally that is just not possible due to scheduling. I have used this particular Jiffy Lube at least three times and have never had an issue with the staff or the service. After looking over some of the negative reviews, I can say that I have not experienced this at the Pico Canyon location. Everyone there seems friendly, knowledgeable and seem to go the extra mile. Working down the street from this location makes it very convenient to pop in for those times I can't get to the dealer. I would not hesitate to use them again and again. read more

I'm giving these guys an above average rating because they have provided very good service over the years that I have been bringing both of my cars there for oil changes. More importantly they actually stepped up recently when there was apparent damage to one my cars while it was in their care. Management was responsible and professional and referred the matter to the district supervisor who handled the matter quickly by assisting me in offsetting a dealer repair bill with service vouchers. So I will continue to patronize, they have provided very good service for many years, and when some thing did go wrong they did not hesitate to face the problem and fix it. read more

This Jiffy Lube is the most HONEST place around. I have never written a Yelp review before, but had to do this because of what an outstanding business this is. I am a customer. Not a hired person to write this. I have lived in Stevenson Ranch for 26 years. I am a single mom, and know nothing about cars. I always get ripped off by car guys, because they know I know nothing. Hector is the most HONEST mechanic. I have taken my car in on 6 different occasions, EVERY SINGLE time, he has gone above and beyond to tell me things I needed that he fixed and not charged me for. Tightened, etc. ( I know he fixed and did it, a male friend who knows about cars confirmed it and said, Wow that is awesome! ) So it saved me money. The owner is EXACTLY the same way. Oh, they can change your oil okay but they are cheaters. They will, without asking, remove perfectly good filters and other parts and suddenly a simple oil change is costing over a hundred dollars. I have this experience every time I go there, so I tell them up front not to try to charge me for anything beyond the oil change or lube. You have to be really firm because they will argue with you. It's really a scam. They should stick to the honest business of changing your oil and similar services. read more

My wife took her Mazda 5 there today and was charged $90 dollars, NINETY DOLLARS, for a synthetic oil change. I'm sorry but that is a COMPLETE RIP OFF. When I arrived I showed a $10 off coupon to the first attendant who agreed it was good and that I would get $10 off. When time came for check out I put the coupon on the counter at the checkout with a second worker. A few minutes later when I walked a few steps out the door I noticed my $10 coupon was not honored. I went back in and asked the man who checked me out about why the $10 coupon was not included in my price. He responded, "The one on the counter? You didn't mention the coupon before I started the process." He knew about the coupon but challenged my timing of its presentation. Fortunately, the first attendant stuck up for me and I got the $10 discount. But you could tell the man who I was dealing with was not happy. I won't go there again. So I came in for an ordinary oil change, as usual they checked my air filter & offered to replace it for an additional price, I declined the service as that is a simple do it your self service.When I was attempting to replace the filter my self, I notice the screws on the plastic cover where the filter is located where stripped from over tightning.When I called jeffy lube & explained the situation after they serviced my car, they advised me to bring my car in to see if they could get it open, so I went in the following week.There attempt to open the plastic cover was unsuccessful & said that this was common on Hondas as the plastic is cheap.I replied with the screws opened fine when you offered to replace the filter, I asked to speak to a store manager & was advised to call the fallowing day by Matt & to ask for Hector.When I spoke with Hector he was real customer service orientated & agreed to replace the plastic cover if it wouldn't come off.So I went in the following Saturday morning & ended getting the plastic cover replaced free off charge like Hector said over the phone. A lil back & forth about the situation but at the end I got GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE from HECTOR & MATT. read more

If I could give no stars I would... Had a coupon for a $21.99 oil change, called ahead and they said they would take it as long as it had a coupon code which it did. When I got there they gave me a hard time saying "we don't take coupons at this location" then finally said they would over ride it, once my car was over the bay they came to me and said that before they pull the oil plug they just wanted me to know that it was going to be around $50.00 even with the coupon because my car needs 6 quarts of oil not 5. So with tax labor and disposal it's around $50.00!!!! Are you serious? I was not born yesterday!!! I don't understand how one extra court can cost an extra 30. Please explain. I went to a Jiffy Lube in Newport Beach last weekend to get an oil change. A day later and back at home, I had oil running down my driveway. I went to Jiffy Lube at Stevenson Ranch to have it checked out and was warned that they might not be able to help me since JL is a franchise. However, Anthony inspected my vehicle and found that the drain plug wasn't screwed in. He fixed it and topped off my oil for no charge. I really appreciated his help and kindness to me! read more

I pulled in and within minutes Anthony changed my wiper blades. He did a great job. He delivered excellent service with a great attitude.
