I needed new wiper blades but they were out of stock on the replacement for the rear wiper. I purchased one at a nearby auto parts store and had trouble installing. I went in for a oil change here less than 3 weeks ago. I ALWAYS change my oil for every car at jiffy lube. Even had multiple people start going to only jiffy lube because of my praises. Never would i think that i would be scammed. 2 weeks ago my car took a s*** on me in the freeway ( 1.5 weeks after i got my "oil changed") come to find out the car had NO OIL IN IT. i had to pay so much money to get my car towed to my family/friend mechanic who told me that the cars oil was NEVER CHANGED. MY CAR DOESNT BURN THROUGH OIL THAT QUICK. Maybe a honest mistake, but it's definitely something that should be looked over and mistakes like that should NOT happen. read more

Fast, convenient and courteous. Truly professional. Richard was working on my ram truck and asked me to join him to show me something he discovered. Seems the last place--Firestone, that changed my oil put in an undersized incorrect oil filter. Also modified the oil filter cap with a spring to hold the wrong filter in place. Firestone told me none of this at the time. The next morning when I got a new oil filter At the dealership Richard offered to put it on at no charge. These guys know what they're doing. WARNING: DO NOT COME TO THIS JIFFY LUBE! My car engine blew from a simple oil change visit to this local jiffy lube. It's been going on 3 weeks and Chris the store manager has not called me once. I have had to call the store and request to speak with him. The WORST Customer Service I have ever experienced. Here's my story : I took my car a 2015 Kia Optima on Sunday May 17th, 2020 to this jiffy lube. I greeted by the employee Jose and I requested for an oil change and new filter for my air and was provided the different oil options and i agreed to the best option of synthetic and was informed of the estimation of about $96.00. After being told my car was done I was asked for my card to provide payment. I provided my credit card and awaited for the return of my card and receipt. When I received my receipt from Jose he attempted to reset the digital reading for my next maintenance in my car and had trouble doing so as I noticed he simply just turned it completely off. He then advised to watch out for the curb as I pull out of driveway. I then pulled away from jiffy lube and got on 210 freeway and drove to arcadia to meet a friend then drove right back home a total of at most 8 miles. I arrived home and parked my car at home on the street. On Tuesday May 19th, 2020 I attempted to drive my car less the 2 miles to my sisters and I noticed my car making a nasty rattling sound about a block later. I turned my car radio off and was horrified of the sound my car was making. I immediately drove my car back home and parked it and called jiffy lube. I requested to speak with the store manager. The store manager Chris was handed the phone and I informed him of when my car was serviced by his store and the noise it was suddenly making. He requested my number and address and advised he will send someone to come look at my vehicle. When the jiffy lube employee by the name of Angel arrived he checked the oil stick and said there is little to no oil in the car. I told him I just tried to drive it and noticed the rattling noise. He then called his boss Chris back and told him there is little to no oil. I'm assuming his boss Chris then informed him to pour the oil in the engine and start the car. When the car was turned on the same loud rattling noise was heard. He looked at me and said that's not good your car engine is done. He called his boss Chris back and spoke with him. Angel then jacked up the car to take a look underneath the car for any oil leaks. Which he stated there were no leaks. A short time later the store manager Chris showed up to my home to look at the vehicle and took video of underneath the car to see if there were any oil leaks. He then walked away and spoke with the Angel discretely and then returned to tell me he does not know what happened to my car. I informed him the car has only been driven less then 10 miles, majority right after I left the store. I informed him i have never had any mechanical issues the 3 years since I purchased the vehicle. I maintained my service as scheduled by the maintenance planned I had purchased. Chris informed me he will submit the claim and asked for my contact info and stated he will call me in a few days to provide me an update. Well I waited 3 days and called the store back on Friday May 22nd and requested to speak with Chris. When I spoke with Chris I first asked him I've been waiting 3 days for him to call me back with an update. He apologized and said he barely spoke with his district manager minutes ago and advised me that I now need to look for my own mechanic to diagnose the vehicle. I asked why can't he take the vehicle to the company's mechanic and he stated we do not want to be bias with our diagnosis of your vehicle with our mechanic. He then told me once I have an invoice to have the mechanic send it to him. It's been the worse 3 weeks with no car and I've had trouble finding a mechanic shop to come and look at my car. Most places I contacted either did not have the time, were understaffed or just too busy due to the current Covid-19 Pandemic and now the Protests causing city wide curfews. To Cap it all off looking at my receipt they signed my credit card receipt. read more

Today November 14, 2024 10 AM. We just move to Pasadena a few months ago. I need an oil change. I looked on Yelp for good reviews. Jiffy lube caught on my eyes. I decide to go out there today. When I got there left side Bay was open. I waited for technician give me an instruction . The technician was guiding me. I pulled up. I asked him how much was synthetic oil change. He said it was $121.00. I was looking for any price display. I didn't see any . Then he asked me do I have a coupon. I said yes. I feel like he knew from his experience . I told him that it was due for oil change, but can you check my oil before and he was kind of hesitating saying that we can't check. I kind of froze. I was asking him again. He decide let me check for you. Technician pulled out oil stick, saying that my oil is low. I told him that I drive a lot, so go ahead and do it was fine other than little shady. Other technician open up the hood, wiping down my engine and he was hesitating in one spot. I was wondering what's going on obviously he didn't know how to open the cover. He broke it. he broke it and told his manager someone broke the cover and left it there. I was kind of shocked. Nobody likes to admit their fault which is really sad. I told him I say OK just put it back and I will take care of it, but never even show me the air filter. Nobody likes to admit their fault. I think the store is very dishonest so I would not recommend going to the store always get the pricing before you come here. Part two technician put air on tire pressure 38 PSI. I told him it was too much. They recommend 35. He was telling me that it would reset it later showing me how to reset. I wasn't born yesterday 38 PSI will never go down to 35 psi. He does want to do it. I think he's very lazy. Poor customer service. read more

But I have to say I walked up and left feeling like a winner going to this jiffy lube location on walnut. Jose,Juan & Jerry we're so helpful, quick and they vacuumed my car..seriously it's the little things that count. They topped my fluids and sent me on my way in 20minutes...& yes I get it that's what they are supposed to do..but you can't force a good personality, professionalism, and genuine employees. Needed another oil change so I returned to this Jiffy Lube and they didn't let me down. Everyone is extremely courteous and efficient. Right now is a very strange time for all businesses due to covid and they did a fantastic job in making me feel comfortable. You stay in your vehicle, which was great except it was over 100 degrees today, BUT they offered to place a hose connected to a portable AC unit to keep you cool while they work on your car. Talk about awesome customer service! For this you do need to crack your window a bit, but I was not worried. Employees wore their masks correctly from what I could tell and of course I wore a mask as well. The employees were troopers for wearing their masks correctly during this super hot weather, but I am very happy they are taking it seriously because it shows that the customer's safety, as well as their own, is a priority. I've been to this Jiffy Lube a few times now as it is close to work. I've always received the best customer service & they are speedy! I was out of there in about 30 minutes. Angel helped me out this last visit. I received very friendly service as he instructed me to leave my keys in the car & relax in the waiting area. After a few minutes, Angel provided the quote and they started working on the car. About 30 minutes after, I was able to complete my service and was on my way. Really quick and painless. The waiting area was clean & offered a coffee station & had a tv for white noise. There were about 10 chairs and roomy. I was surprised by the clean front windshield was washed & my car was vacuumed. I didn't realize my car was so dirty, but it was nicely freshened up when I got my car back. Make sure to prink out the $15 coupon for oil changes! Definitely recommended! read more

The service was great and quick. However, I just discovered the guy lied to me about my previous service. He said "You had Synthetic Oil service the last time you were here. Would you like the same?" I said "Yes, sure." When he told me the total, I immediately thought that's not correct. But I paid it since the service was done. I looked up on my account at previous service and it was "Value Oil Blend" and not "Synthetic" which was $20 less. I should've checked myself. However, your workers should never LIE to people.
