This is my first ever Yelp rant, so at least I can thank these guys for inspiring me to finally create an account and share my experience. It all started with a normal oil change for which I had a $13 coupon (always Google coupons for these chain services places). Everything went fine, or so I thought until I got home and checked under the hood to make sure he had topped off all the fluids. The cap for the windshield washer fluid was broken, which I understand is not that big a deal but the guy who broke it should have told me before I left the jiffy lube! I know for a fact it was not broken before I took my car in because I checked all the fluids etc. earlier that day. Long story short, I ended up driving back to the jiffy lube twice to try to get them to replace the broken cap, to no avail. I was going out of town two days later so didn't have time to keep going back and forth with these guys who were too cheap to replace a $9 piece of plastic they were responsible for breaking -- I ended up buying a new one from Honda. Obvously this was not about the $$ but the principal of a) not telling me after breaking something under my hood (thankfully it was literally the least important piece) and b) not making any effort to replace the broken part. I will never frequent this, or any, Jiffy Lube again and I hope this review costs them more I lost business than the $9 it would have been to just buy me a new cap. read more

Quick, honest, and friendly! Got a walk through of exactly what they were going to examine, and they told me they would be done in 15 minutes. I'm used to having to wait longer than expected so I pulled it a book to read. Right then they told me my car was finished! I recently went to jiffy lube to get my oil change, all I got to say is the Entire staff/workers were very professional and very nice... They don't try to over sale you on stuff that you don't really need, made me feel real comfortable, I will defiantly be going back there for my oil change all the time. read more

My son took our 2014 Jetta in for an oil change. The technician showed all the choices, my son chose synthetic blend instead of full synthetic as specified by Volkswagen. I took it back and said this was not right. Richard took care of me, said I could pay the difference in the price of the oil plus the disposal fee. I said fair enough. He replaced with full synthetic then in the end didn't charge me. I appreciated this very much -- they fixed a mistake and took care of the customer. I've been going to this location for 28 years and will continue to bring my cars there. read more

I usually change my oil myself but I lacked the time to do so myself for this instance. Jiffy lube did a good job. They were efficient and the man that helped me, David, provided splendid customer service. I was disappointed to see that the price for a conventional oil change has gone up to 50$ since the last time I went to a Jiffy Lube (when it was only 30$) so I probably will go back to changing it myself in the future. Wow! So fast! I thought it would take an hour to get my oil changed but it was like 10 minutes! They also changed my filter, filled up my tires, and did a whole engine check. Always had good experiences here, but this most recent time (yesterday) was record breaking! read more

One expects persistent up-selling at all Jiffy Lubes, as it's their business model, but usually you get decent customer service even if you pass on the extras. An employee here overcharged me, and when I went back to have the charge reversed, the manager refused to reimburse the tax on the overcharge. When I asked why, he said to the employee, "Tell him why," and walked away. Of course, the employee had no idea why. There are plenty of Jiffy Lubes around. Why go to one where the manager is a jerk? read more

My car's battery died last week and AAA didn't have the right one to replace it. So after they jump started my car, I drove straight to Jiffy Lube. During my last oil change, the serviceman had mentioned it needed to be replaced. So I knew Jiffy Lube would be able to help. In 30 minutes, I had a new battery and I had them change my car's oil while I was there. I was delighted and completely satisfied. I would give a better rating for service except it took almost a half hour for a 10 minute oil change. $111 for a synthetic change with the cheapest oil made? Then the tech tried to tell me I needed an extra quart over their regular amount. Total lie! I've changed my own oil and had it changed by others also and they never said I needed an extra quart. It's bad enough to charge more than double any place else I've ever had it changed, then try to charge extra for nothing!! Never going back here again! I will only go to this Jiffy Lube for an oil change...and it is not even the closest one to me, I just had such a good experience the first time I went that I drive out of my way to come here. I have had bad experiences at other quickie oil change places such as the EZ Lube in Glendale (similar to Don M.'s below, but that is a whole long story... but NEVER go there!!). Anyhow, this Jiffy Lube always does a great job, and most importantly they don't pressure you for overpriced, unneeded filters etc., which is my main complaint when it comes to these kind of places. If you tell them you don't want it they don't pull out the barely used filter and try to pressure you into it. The staff is always friendly, or at least down to business which is fine by me, I don't need to stand around and chat, I want to get in and out as quick as possible. This place does a great job, even if it looks like there is going to be a long wait, you rarely have to wait as long as you think it's going to be. I deducted a star because when they wiped my windshield they must have used a dirty rag, it just kind of smeared the dirt...I would rather they not even try if they are not going to do a decent job. Overall though, highly recommended! If you have had bad experiences at other shops, try this one...I think you will be happy you did. read more

This place put the wrong air filter in my daughters car. I had read a review about them ripping people off and I stupidly went there anyway because of convenience. When i returned to tell them that they had put in the wrong air filter they acted like I was trying to pull something over on them. At first they couldn't find the right filter and then they finally found it. No sorry we screwed up or finacial reimbursement for taking up my time- no thank you or anything. I used to pretty much hate Jiffy Lube because of their deceptive make-a-buck practices, but I recently went there and they don't seem to do that stuff anymore. All I want is a quick and painless oil change and level check for a fair price, and now, that's what they do. In the past, they would tell you you should change your oil every 2,500 miles, which is patently ridiculous, and they would stick a little sticker on your windshield to remind you of that mileage. My car manual tells me 7,500 mi intervals. Well, they still give you the sticker, but they actually ask you how many miles you want to allow before your next change. Yay. Next, they used to tell you to change your air filter if had the slightest amount of dust on it. Every dingle dang time. Also ridiculous, an air filter can easily go 25,000 mi in a nice clean city like this. They don't do that anymore either. Now about that sticker - I told them 7,500 miles but it came out something odd, I think the cashier just made an honest mistake entering the numbers. If we go there again and they keep up the good work, they can earn a 5th star. read more

The kind service tech pointed me towatds the cool waiting room, which was a plus since it still is summertime in LA and hot out! My last visit I was greeted as soon as I drove up and was lead to the waiting room a few minutes later I was greeted by Lance who went over oil opinions without trying up sale which I really appreciate. This jiffy lube is amazing. I have been to other locations- where people can be pushy and make me feel like I don't know anything about cars. At this location ALL of the people are friendly and NOT pushy at all. They politely make suggestions that your car might need, and explain in detail what the service is. I do not know much about cars so I always want to know what it does and if it is really necessary. The oil change itself was very quick. I love how they take the time to put air in my tires, wash my windows, and vacuum the inside of my car. The service worker that I had today was Mark, and he was super friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this facility. It was also very reasonably priced. read more

Normally these places use temporary paper floor mats when servicing your car. For some reason, this Jiffy Lube did not use them for my car and I was left with a huge, thick oil streak embedded in my driver's side floor mat. Pretty careless I must say. read more
