While service here was fast and courteous, I won't be back. The other customer there when I was asked how much oil needed to be replaced in his car (he knew it was leaking). The answer came back that they replaced almost ALL his oil! (Really, he had to ask for that info? Shouldn't that be important enough to pass on to the customer?) I was prepping for a road trip and didn't want to do a full inspection my self so went to jiffy lube they said they would prep me for my trip I paid and was going over the receipt and noticed that is said filled washer fluid and checked it 2 times well I removed fluid container so I climbed under car and noticed oil filter that was dmged when I couldn't get it off so I checked oil it was 2 quarts low and blacker then black I went in to maneger to explain the problem and he said my car burnt 2 quarts of oil from bay to parking lot and that's why it is so black and its my fault for tricking them on washer fluid I insisted for a refund and they called Pasadena police and I was told to leave the property it was a civil matter never go to this jiffy lube conmen liars and thieves read more

They changed my oil, topped off all other fluids, put air in my tires, and even vacuumed my floors! All for just under $70 with a $10 discount! They were incredibly fast, friendly, and informative. I had to do a a 10K service for my new car and I was thought I would save some money and some time. Yeah right! I went to Jiffy Lube and got a regular oil change. The 30 minute oil change ended up being over an hour! and of course they try to "up sell" you, so I went for it. I changed my A/C cabin filter after they told me they would give me $10 off the price. So after they are done I pay my bill with my debit card (or course they don't show you the charges before you pay) they overcharged me! They didn't give me the $10's off! Then they try to give me a coupon. Yeah right! Just give me my money! So they end up giving giving me a refund on my card instead of giving me $10 cash. So now, I have to run my card again which means that I don't have access to my money because I have to wait for the refund to go through. So I use another CC and say f*ck it. I just want to leave. So when I get in my car there is a big fat oily boot print on my brand new floor mats. Great! I was trying to save money and its going to end up costing me more. I should have just went to the dealership. No more Jiffy Lube for me. These guys suck and they weren't very nice to boot. If you choose to go to Jiffy Lube, do not go to this one!!!!!!!!!! read more

First off, most everyone was more than nice to deal with. Synthetic oil change for a v6 motor, 79.99. Seems a bit expensive. When I checked in my vehicle, I was very clear. I only wanted a standard oil change, with nothing extra. When it was time to pay, I asked for a breakdown of the bill. I don't usually split hairs with a bill, but I wanted to know why it cost $80 to change my oil. I was told I was paying for a signature package that cost $10 extra, which allows me to get fluid top offs between oil changes. VS. a basic service where you just pay for the oil change. I drive a newer car, not requiring 'fluid top offs'. My beef is that I asked for a no frills oil change, and I was by default, without being asked up sold to a more expensive signature package. IMO... it's not a great business practice. I'll give my business to someone else next time. read more

This place is great. They started working on my car as soon as I pulled in. They had our oil changed in 20 min. The technician then explained that they had checked a bunch of different things like fluid levels and wipers and what they had fixed. He was really clear but quick. It was really nice. I have been coming to this jiffy lube for 10yrs and it was out of convenience, the service was average at best. The last year I have serviced both cars here and had nothing but the best service. I normally go to the jiffy lube in Arcadia and I always have a pleasant experience with my oil changed. I decided to stop at this jiffy lube because it is right next to my work. I dropped my car off at 9am for an oil change and all the guy asked me was for my name and number. Didn't bother to ask about the type of oil I wanted, and just took my keys and walked inside. I get a call an hour later and he told me that my transmission fluid needed to be changed for $150.00 due to my mileage. Mind you that I had just boughten my car not too long ago and barely put any miles on it. I corrected him and told him that I had just boughten my car and he just told me I had to check with them about my fluids. He tried to scam me for my money when nothing was needed? On a side note I drove my car back and he didn't even bother putting a mileage sticker on my car and didn't even talk to me about when I needed to come back. These people are TOTAL crooks! If you don't buy the extra crap they try to ram down your throat, THEY VANDALIZE YOUR CAR!!!!! The 1st time it happened was back in 2011 on my old Honda Accord. Somehow I got a hole in my oil pan and didn't make the connection. The 2nd time in 2012, after an oil change and another refusal for extra services, my radiator cap disappeared and my heat sensor was disconnected (it overheated). Surprisingly, I STILL didn't make the connection because my car was old and I thought it just went with the territory. But when yesterday on my BRAND NEW Ford Fusion SLE, I had a flat 5 mins after leaving their establishment, my light bulb went off. So I called AAA, had a donut put on and went straight to my dealer. Sure enough, I didn't have a hole in my tire, the worker discovered that the valve stem was damaged! WTF!!!!! And this is AFTER they checked the air pressure during the oil change. So explain to me how did that happen? On top of that, my car is computerized to notify me RIGHT ON THE DASHBOARD if I have low tire pressure, or a light is out, how many miles until I'm empty, etc. Therefore I would have known if this had happened PRIOR to me going to Jiffy Lube. Of course when I went back to confront them, they denied everything. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!!!! They're all a bunch of sadistic thugs who will f*ck up your car if you don't buy extra services. But if you still choose to go, you better know EXACTLY what shape your car is in. Or be prepared to pony up some extra dough for the extortion......I mean extra services.....they're going to try and sell you. read more

Went for a simple oil change. I was completely out of window washer fluid so as I was leaving I tried washing my windows. There was no fluid even though the paperwork said they had topped it off. They front desk guy apologized and when I said now I didn't trust what else wasn't done he brought the car back so he could double check everything. This is why the place didn't get one star. I was gives a quote of $89 for an oil change when I drove in. The price was raised to $130 and I was told that the original quote only coved 5 quarts or oil. I asked for the full price when I pulled in. Total ripoff. I never paid more than $100 for an oil change, which included a car wash. I would never recommend or use them again. I overheard a customer complaining they just had an oil change and their oil light went on going home. They didn't install the oil filter correctly and the oil leaked out, destroying their engine. read more

Typical jiffy lube staff. No smiles, only condescension and oily egos. I'm essentially and ASE certified mechanic, yet I took my low-ground clearance car here (for their underground service bays) for help removing a gearbox fill-plug (an easy task, I just couldn't get under the car enough on my ramps to get enough leverage on the bolt). I explained the issue but they all looked like deer in headlights. They said they would do it for a $30 labor charge. Mind you, this is no different labor than an engine oil change (just gearbox oil instead) and i already had the oil, but I said ok anyway. They drove the car in quickly, not even thinking about clearance issues, luckily it cleared. The oil-change 'mechanic' underground immediately said the bolt was stripped and they couldn't get it off. I know for a fact is wasn't stripped because I had my hands on it 20 minutes prior. It was a square bolt instead of hex (which I told them, as well as what size it was) but they didn't seem to listen well. Anyway, I took my car to my trustworthy mechanic in echo park and he had it done in no time. I always advise people to steer clear of jiffy lube style scam artists, but I thought I'd give it a shot. Nope. I worked at an auto parts store for years who had a close account with jiffy lube. By their own admission, they are instructed to oversell you for pure profit and nothing else. Do NOT take your car here! I just tried to get my car serviced with a basic oil change. As I watched the guy (who turned out to be the manager) start the service on my car, he used tools to try and pull the latch to open the hood of my car. He then came inside and told me the latch to get the hood open was broken and because of that they could not service my car. Now mind you, I opened the hood of my car 3 days ago to check my oil with the latch being fully intact - that's how I ended up there in the first place. When I questioned the guy he simply stated it was broken when he got to it which I know for a fact is not true. He suggested I take it to a body shop and that was about it. No referral, no offer for a free oil change (since he broke the latch), nothing. When I insisted they pay for the repairs since they broke the latch he essentially said it was not his problem since it was broken already even though I saw him jam his tool under my hood and yank on the latch. Thankfully, the kind guys at Zoom Autobody and few doors down help me open my hood and suggested I go next door to Garbiel's Automotive. Both places were wonderful in helping me out! Go to Gabriel's instead for better service! I will not be returning to this Jiffy Lube ever again. read more

Waste of time. They have a giant banner saying we price match & accept competitor coupons. I see this banner, pull in, and was told a regular oil change is $45 (I looked around to make sure I wasn't at the dealership). I tell the guy I have an appointment at another local chain location in 2 hours for a $20 oil change. He just says we can't do $20, so I left. If you can't match a LOCAL competitor that advertises this price on their website without any coupons or promos then take the banner down. You DO NOT price match. read more

This place is awful, dishonest, and a rip off. the guy charged me 30 dollars in labor for a basic oil change... Ended up costing over 100 dollars for an oil change, even with the 15 dollar off coupon I had, it's never been more than 70. I caught one of the workers in a lie early on in the process. They also must have done something to my battery because my radio was reset afterwards and my car was making a strange chirping sound that had never existed before the visit. Had to immediately go to the dealership to fix it and ended up costing me hours on my day off. All for a simple routine oil change. SHEISTY sleazy and unprofessional staff. I plan on complaining directly to the owner soon. PS this is my first and only yelp review, because it truly was THAT bad. read more

This place is so great! The staff is helpful. Ask for Nick, he's really explanatory and tells you what's best for your car. He doesn't try to upsell you and doesn't offer things I don't need. He is honest and gets straight to the point. The rest is the staff is great! I always see them working really hard, trying to finish as fast as they can even when they are busy. He tried to sell me on a oil change for $100+ - insisted that its the only thing my car will take. I even heard him lying to the woman behind me in line.
