No one would ever believe this story. So I took my vehicle to this location to get my brakes done.  When I arrived, I was greeted by a technician that told me to take a seat, and he would get back to me about 30 minutes later a female came and took my information and stated the cost of my breaks which included the charge to replace my wheel locks because I lost my key. The technician came to me and said that he needs to take my vehicle "down" the street because he did not have the correct tool to remove the lock. 20 minutes went by, 30 minutes went by, 40 minutes went by; I was starting to get worried. I asked another technician if he knew where the other guy went he said he didn't know and he would call him. So, he called him and he said that he was 30 minutes away. I said tell that guy to bring my vehicle back NOW! As the guy arrived, I asked where did you go! He claimed he went down the street, but they didn't have the tool. I was pissed, so I left! I went over to American Tires to see if they can remove my wheel lock a technician came to me and said sir, "didnt we already tell you that we cant remove your wheel lock." I said, "No I have never been here' then he said, but your truck was." He gave me a recommendation to a place that can remove my wheel lock. I immediately went to that location. Once my wheel lock was removed, I went to Brake Depot to get new breaks. The technician at break deport said, sir, "If you are here about removing your wheel locks again, we already said that we cant do it." I told the technician at break depot that I have never been here. The technician at break depot said well your vehicle was. I realized that the technician at this location Jiffy Lube drove my vehicle to varies places throughout Riverside trying to get my wheel lock removed vice just telling me that it couldn't be done. Good place for oil changes if you are in a hurry and don't mind them trying to upsell you on everything. That being said their coupons are BS ( you have a $5 off coupon price is $30, you have a $20 off coupon price is $30 for conventional oil change what a joke). Would be nice if they would publish prices. I went by what I found online, $79,99 for full synthetic and sent my son down there for his 4 cyl truck (5 quarts). Price was $97.99, so even after the coupon was $82.99 which isn't what I expected. I pay $79 for my diesel truck and it takes 15 quarts. read more

Took my car in for it's oil change that was due. Car was running fine, just taking care of the maintenance. Left with the check engine light on! The employee there said "we just changed the oil sir.".......come on people.....what the ....did you do? Will never go back......not even for free. Wow, what can I say about this place. The technician who wrote up my quote spit his mucus in the trash can right in front of me. So gross and unprofessional. They completed the oil change under 5 minutes, which is great, but I guess maybe they didn't even do it at all. Wish we could give this place zero stars. Two visits trying to get the oil change special on the giant banner in front of the place. Of course, not possible, and instead of $24.95, it's 89.95. And this is not a sportscar, difficult car, etc. It's a bait and switch. We also love it when you're trying to understand why the bait and switch, and the service person says, "Sorry boss" and walks away mid sentence to help the next sucker in line. I came to this place a few days ago and got my oil changed and a few other services done and I can happily say I was very satisfied with the service that I got there, everyone was extremely nice and caring the workers are all very cool and I got out of there In less then 45 min I was expecting it to be longer since I got a few things done. The price for the oil change was decent. Price for the engine air filter was also decent but the price for the cabin filter was expensive, so I only got the oil change. They wiped my windows. In and out fairly quickly. In general, the service was pretty good. BUT one of the technicians shoved the cabin filter back into my car incorrectly. Very unprofessional. read more

If I could give negative points I would. I leave my car there for an oil change, then get a call telling me they aren't allowed to give me the oil I wanted but must go with the one that's like 3x as much. Whatever, its an auto shops job to rip you off. So I say ok, and I can hear a gentleman in the background telling the woman I spoke to what to say, that its a 5.0 so I HAVE to use THEIR synthetic. Fine, whatever, never heard this from any other mechanic, but hey I must be dumb. I never get a call back, when I call to ask if it's ready 3 hrs later the blonde woman tells me "oh yeah it's been ready it's parked." Why none of the 4 people working on this slow day could get off their asses to notify a customer that the car was ready is beyond me. When I get there everyone's standing around, the attendant, sounds like the same guy I heard over the phone but maybe not, tells me "oh no we couldn't work on it we don't carry your oil." So what the hell was all that other shit about? Waste of time. I'm just going to do it my damn self for a fraction of the cost. Seriously its worth it to teach yourself to do it than go to this waste of a building. They have been hiring, I really hope they get some staff and management with integrity. DO NOT GO HERE. Horrible customer service. I had been a long time customer. Today came in for an oil change about 10 or so minutes after they opened told it was a 40 minute wait, 2 cars were ahead of me. No problem asked if we could just leave the truck and go next door and have breakfast. Attendant said yes just gotta answers the phone when they call to service the vehicle. No problem. Walked over and had breakfast. Came back and my vehicle hadn't been pulled in yet. Went in and sat, noticed a sign that said they can't take any cards without a chip. Went out to ask about it. The guy said no cards without chips accepted. I asked if I would lose my place if I run and took out cash (which literally would have been to the 711 across the street) He said as long as no other cars come. I asked how was that fair I had no idea of the no chip. He laughed and said there is a sign posted inside. I told him that we didn't go inside. He thought that was funny. He said it was a government thing not Jiffy Lube. Really??? I could use my debit card (without the chip) anywhere. I wouldn't be making a deal if he had not thought the situation was a joke. In the end he could have told us something when we checked in, or they need to post a sign outside the front door before you even walk in. I will not return here again. read more

If at all possible I would rather give them no stars. Why you ask? Because their employees steal from their customers cars. Yes, steal. I came in from giving a friend a ride to work and she had given me some gas money. I had just set it on my seat under my leg. When I got there I was going to just drop off my car and go to Kountryfolks for breakfast while my car was being worked on. However, I got to the restaurant and realized I left the money on my seat. So I go back and ask the manager if I can get into my car and get it. And oh my goodness it's gone! I tell him I should have had money sitting right on my seat. And he automatically tells me I'm wrong. That I must have dropped it when I got out of my car. So he actually takes me to the office to look at the camera to show me getting out of my car. AND what did we see, me getting out and NO MONEY falling out. Which of course would mean?? That the money should have still been in my car! And instead of trying to help me get my money back. He still insists that wrong and trying to make me think that I'm crazy. So I asked for the DMs number. I called him, and you think he did anything??? NOPE! So I will never go back to this place and recommend no one else does either. No one should have their things stolen by someone they're trusting to fix their car. Don't Do It! Advertised price, $19.99, after a $23 up charge to change the oil because its a 4wd and a $5.99 blinker bulb replaced totaled $57.86. For a standard oil change??? its a 4wd not a diesel, there is no difference changing the oil. Cant imagine what it would have been if i went with their "suggestions" flush the radiator, change the transmission fluid, differential fluid, wiper blades and my favorite air filter needs to be replaced." If Ithey had a 1/2 star rating choice I would of picked that. DON'T GO HERE!!!!! I am very unsatisfied with the Jiffy Lube off La Sierra in Riverside, Ca. I went there last night 5/15 at 5:55pm to see how long it would take for an oil change. The guy told me an hour. I did not have that long to wait so I asked him if the wait would be less if I came at 6:30pm. He said he didn't know and that it was first come first serve and that there was only him and another guy working so it was just the two of them. I went back at 6:40pm. The were 2 cars already in there and one waiting. He told me that that one car that was waiting would be the last car. The fact that there was just two of them, that is not my problem. Needless to say I was not pleased. That is poor customer service in my opinion. I was there before they closed and they should have accepted me. For example, like in the stores and restaurant, if it closes at 10pm and someone walks in at 9:40 there are still let in as long as it is before closing time. I am deeply disappointed in the customer service of this business. I have been taking my car there for a while now and from now on I will not be taking my car there ever again. I visited Jiffy Lube for the first time yesterday I left with a smile on my face. I'm extremely satisfied with the service I was provided, I was so satisfied I wanted to give a tip to the staff but was informed they don't take tips and they give great customer service not to be rewarded but to give great service to their customers. Jiffy Lube not only made sure my car was in good shape but also vacuum and wipe down my car.I feel they were honest with the diagnosis of my car to be honest before the oil change my car was a little shaky but afterwards it was running smooth. I love dealing with people I can trust that will do their best job without overcharging because I'm a woman and at times that's tooken advantage of , usually I get oil changes from my mechanics from now on I'm going to Jiffy Lube they're my number one all the staff is polite and helpful by the way this is my first review but it's worth it!! The first time I went to this location about a year ago, I was charged $34. Every time I've gone to this location since then, they try to charge me anywhere from $44-$80. How does that happen?? I'm usually not one to complain, but that big of a jump is not right. They insisted I never paid $34 until I had my last receipt with me to prove it. Then they had the excuse that they mistook my 09 Malibu for a 2016 Malibu and that's why they were quoting $80. Um yeah, I'm not having that. They must work on commission because they're always pushing for an up sell on something. I get that certain vehicles take certain recommendations according to the manufacturers instructions but when I say I don't want to pay for the highest grade oil, don't push. I can't help but feel that they see a blonde girl walk into an auto place and feel they can simply take advantage. I will never go here again. I've given one too many chances. read more

I had amazing service! Everything was explained to me and showed to me so I knew what I needed! I actually chose not to use the coupon because they did such a great job filling my liquids, washing my windows, and vacuuming my car! So much more than I ever expected. They were fast and friendly!
