My husbands car is not drivable after getting an oil change. The tech failed to latch the hood, we were given a thumbs up to leave after he tried 3 times to close the hood as we turned onto hwy 26 less a mile away the hood flew open we pulled over immediately and called jiffy lube. The manager was instructed by his regional manager to come take pictures and see if they could fix it. This all happened on Sunday April 24th. Jiffy lube is denying fault now. First, I explicitly tell you what type of oil change I need and we agree on the price point; then, once all the work is done, you casually quote me an amount that is $15 more expensive compared to our original verbal agreement and I'm the one who has to point out that mistake to you - not the other way around. I've been using Jiffy Lube to meet my basic car care needs for almost 10 years. Have been to many locations- this is my first stop at this one. Very very slow. Lots of workers standing around. Tried this one because it's near my grocery store but would say it's worth the extra drive time to go to a different one. The location off of 217 on Beaverton Hillsdale Highway is fast and friendly. 3 stars because I like Jiffy, the missing two are for wait time. read more

Inital service was great!,However they made a mistake blew out my EUC computer on a battery change and it took two months to fix that and while I was driving an unsafe car and I told them it wasn't safe to drive as I had to use brake and then hit gas to keep car running during this time or it would stall out. I told them it was unsafe to drive I hit utility pole because I had to slam on the gas to get it to go in forward or reverse. 2 computers and two months later EUC was fixed properly however the wreck that I was in due to their lack of concern for my and others safety. did not concern them one bit. Cooper as we will call him refused to do anything to make that right. Turn it into your insurance he says, so my last trip will be my last trip probably to any Jiffy lube. This time just ok. The oil change was fine. It;s their sales practices. We have always used them for the low cost. We have been having our oil changed at Jiffy Lube for years. Always the lowest cost service. This time though ( today, about 2 hours ago) the service adviser got me in the private sales room to show me all my dirty filters which really aren't dirty but they try to say they need replaced and said " so you want the same full service you always get, the one where we check all the fluids" and I said yes. The the bill was 28.95. The value advertised special is 21.95 which is what we have always gotten but apparently they have changed that policy and I now had unknowingly agreed to the 28.95 " full service" service . I have a real issue with that and think it is very deceptive. Apparently with the value oil service they don't check anything. Or so they tell you probably. Why not? I think they do and then try to sell you 50 cents worth of anti-freeze for 7 bucks. . How stupid is that if they don't! . read more

UPDATE: I reached out to the guy "Chase" who responded to my review and gave him all my information and no one ever reached out to me. It's been a week. Don't trust their fake replies like they care about your bad experience because clearly they don't. I even responded to their survey that was sent to my email and again, no one has reached out. The guys who work at this location were super nice. However, my entire visit was a mess. For starters, when checking out, I told him I had a coupon. He didn't even look at it and applied his own. Come to find out later, he gave me a $20 discount when I had a $25 coupon. Anyway, not a big deal. Secondly, they did not take out my old sticker and put a new one in with my next service mileage. Again, not a big deal. I checked my receipt to see if maybe there was a sticker on there and there wasn't but I also noticed they logged my mileage as "212,222" ... I have a 2017 car. My mileage was supposed to be "21,222". I called immediately after I left to have them fix it because I wasn't sure if it mattered and they said "you were just here? Our last record of you coming in was 2018" ... I assured him I was just there and had literally just left the parking lot and he could not find any information on my oil change. So did this get saved at all? The whole thing was just a mess. I will avoid this specific location next time. read more

Went three times to get my oil changed, first time they were out of my filter the 2nd I waited in the bay like 20 minutes for them to tell me they didn't have a plug and I had to come back but they'd give me a better discount than my 25.00 off coupon. I go back they don't too off my washer fluid or do my windows or half the stuff on their list and charged me 135.00 for what was a 90.00 oil change last time then just used the same coupon I already had. They tried to tell me it was European oil and apparently it's gone up 50 bucks. I will never go back to jiffy lube they're more than going to the dealership with half the service. read more

Usually fast service but will try to upcharge you and scare you into doing many more services. My favorite part is when they take out the engine and cabin air filter, go in and on about how dirty they are with all the visible debris in it. Any moron can go by NAPA and buy the filters and in two seconds, replace them themselves saving about $50. But this is ur BEST part, they just stick those filters back in with all the crud on there. They don't take a second to shake it off. In fact, I tried to shake it off and the guy really got angry with me. Seriously. Always go with a coupon. read more

This is the worst place to have any vehicle service performed. My wife and I took both of our vehicles in for an oil change. We are in from out of state and we were over our mileage. So we both pulled in at the same time. After a 25 minute wait in the waiting room, my car finally rolls into the garage. My wife's still in the staging area. More vehicles start to arrive and are pulled into other bays in front of hers. I thought first come first serve.... guess not. So after about another 15 minutes I get to talk to the person about what type of oil I want. He proceeds to tell me my belts are bad, my week old wiper blades are bad, my air filter is bad, and that my rear license plate light is out. I decline all the up-sales and opt for just the oil change. My car rolls out after racking up $85 for a synthetic oil change. My wife's is still in the staging area. I then get to talk to the person about my wife's oil change. He claimed all sorts of things were wrong with it before ever having the hood lifted. He then proceeded to tell me I need full synthetic in it even though the owners manual states I do not. At this point I tell them not to touch the cars anymore we will go elsewhere. So I go to my car, turn on the lights and go back and check the license plate light. Guess what!!!!!! It wasn't bad. Word to the wise, avoid this place. We went down the road about a mile and had Oil Can Henry's take care her car. It was much better service, no pressure, and cheaper! Never again Not-so-jiffy lube! read more

Took my BMW 325xi in and they took and hour to change the oil. They couldn't figure out how to get oil pan open. I only went there and not the dealer because I was desperate. The check air light was left on for week until I brought it to the dealer. Took my Tahoe there today and they couldn't change a light. They couldn't figure out which marker light needed to be changed because both marker lights needed to be changed. Told me 15 minutes and it was 45. Took my Kia there last month and the check engine light was left on because they didn't have the right tool to turn it off. I had to go to Oak Street location to have them turn it off. XXX three strikes. You are out. If you can't do a job, don't do it. read more

They agreed the coupon hadn't expired and that it was in fact a Jiffy Lube coupon. So, if you bring in a coupon they will still charge full price. read more

Went for an oil change, the sales pitches started I was told I need high mileage oil I declined then told my coolant was empty I said I'll take care of it he got a little snippy telling his coworker in a snarky way he said he'll do it. Told me they couldn't rotate my tires because the front ones were "needing replacing" which I went to Americas tire company and they said they could be rotated and that I could get at least another 5,000 miles or more on my "bAd" tires. they also tried pushing me into getting my headlights done which they weren't that bad so I will go someplace else from now as I don't like pushy salesmen. read more

I have been going to Jiffy Lube in NY for oil change for a few years. Since I moved here, I decided to give my nearby jiffy lube a try. Service was good and it was super fast, no waiting at all. My only complaint would be the price. I had been paying $74.99 for mobil 1 and I had never been charged extra for oil filter and I could always use $15 off coupon. Today, I was charged $91.99 for synthetic oil and $9.99 for oil filter. Although I was able to use a $25 off coupon, still it was way more expensive than what I had been paying for oil change. But again, staffs were friendly and service was fast. Will look for another oil change location with better price though. read more

Well, let see now....you pull in and this person comes running out...you roll down your window. He asks what can we do for you today. I said all I want is an oil change and a new oil filter for the advertised $19.99 price and I don't need or want anything else done...no 20 point inspection or anything. What happens....they say ok no problem and then escort you to the waiting room and tell you all kinds of nice things along the way and there is free coffee and paper/magazines to read and we take care of you...It will take about 15 minutes. Next thing to happen, a person comes and calls your name and you are taken into a special consultation booth. They take your name and all other pertinent information then start the drill. Do you want us to change your transmission fluid do you us to do this or do that. Then they pull up this air filter that is your engine compartment and say I see this is pretty clean so it does not need replacing today....NO...I just changed it myself recently. Then they pull up another filter that is "my cabin" filter and show you how terribly dirty it is and it really needs to be replaced and it is only $44 to have that done. At this point I was ready to blow a gasket but I said no not today. I finally get to pay my bill of $19.99 and am told and can get a free top-off on my engine oil anytime in the next 3000 miles and then we will see you in 3000 miles for an oil change. Several years ago I took my daughters car to an Oil Can Henry place and told them all I needed was an oil and filter change and when it was all done the bill came to $45 dollars. I was livid as I did not ask or want all that other "services". I've not been back to them since nor any other oil change place except for a dealer on occasion. Well....it looks like the game of bait and switch is still alive and well. I left the Jiffy Lube and went straight to my auto parts store and purchased a new cabin filter for $8.30. When I went to pull out the cabin filter in my car low and behold the assembly did not have a handle on one end the assembly as my "dirty cabin filter at Jiffy Lube" did have. I don't know how dumb they must think people are but I sure feel sorry for all of those who are not aware of what they are getting into. read more

I am a retired mechanic of 30 years and I usually do all of my own services but I was visiting in Salem, OR from Nevada so I didnt have the means to do my own service this time(I run my oil & filter to 10K miles). I took them my own Synthetic oil & high grade filter and asked them to do it for me, they said sure at the regular price of $19.99, No problem I said, because all the other shops (oil can henrys & other oil change shops wanted $45.00 minimum, theres little profit in oil changes @ $19.99 of about $3-5 if you buy in bulk). They performed everything flawlessly and with precision inspection, they went above and beyond other companys SELL & PITCH tactics and when I said no they didnt try and sell me more things or try the "you have to have this or else" pitch! They found a leak I never knew I had and were professional! I have no affiliations with Jiffy lube or interests of any kind so when I tell you that these guys are not there to scare SELL you they are there to help you! A previous post a customer stated he didnt want an inspection, well thats crazy everyone should have their cars inspected to make sure nothing will break down on you at the worst possible time! They did the oil change on my 2010 F350 Super Duty, this truck has electric mirrors that I closed so they could service my truck and not hit them. Aftrr the service the tech grabbed my mirrors and forced them back out with no regaurd to damaging my truck. Problem 3, I use synthetic oil, my ford has 2 kinds of oil filters, one for standard oils and one for sybthic oil, they installed the wrong filter causing oil restriction to the engine. Not only were they nice and did not try to be overbearing by recommending services I didn't need just because I am a female (and a blonde) but they fixed my rock chip for free through my insurance.
