I saw all the bad reviews and I did not have any experience like that at all. Actually we have a corporate account and this location was the most attentive one I have been to in FL. I was greeted by one service reps and a whole bunch more came out of nowhere. One was cleaning the windows, the other getting supplies, the other changing the oil. I was in a rush and was trying to kill 2 birds with one stone by grabbing lunch and eating it while I was getting my trucks oil changed and they finished the job with smiles before I finished my sandwich. We had our oil changed on May2, on May 16, the car stopped running. We had it towed to the dealership as there was only 22k miles on it. After inspection, we were told the engine seized as the oil was all over the engine. The store manager said another customer had the same issue and they received faulty oil filters. A representative has been to the dealership, saw what happened. When he touched the filter, it fell off and he took it with him. Now they ate trying to say it's not their fault! The guys at the BEE RIDGE JIFFY LUBE scratched my car window. They know they did. The manager STEVEN CHAPLIN said they would take care of it and asked me to get 3 estimates. I did. He then changed his tune and said they didn't do it. No one will take ownership of the damage and to make matters worse, the franchisee has lied to corporate stating that they contacted me but never did. They are all SHADY as hell. So shady!! Got an oil change here at Jiffy Lube yesterday. My check engine light came on today. Got my car tested at auto zone and there were 5 things wrong with my car! The guy at AutoZone popped my hood and saw they had detached the air hose from the engine! Whether this was intentional or not it, It is unacceptable and very sloppy to let me drive off in a car they didn't check to make sure was safe! Take our delivery vehicle there all the time. When I asked why they weren't vacuuming the entire vehicle like before and the man who did the oil change snapped "who told you that!" I told him the manager. The NEW manager came over and snapped " we don't do that anymore " but yet the jiffy lube site says not only do they vacuum but clean the outside of your windows. this is my third time getting oil changed at this location my first visit was great and they did the windows and all the extra they charge for great service.. there was a girl there and she knew what she was doing and looked like she loved her job! the next time I came same price of 117.00 but they marked on the invoice they swept and cleaned the windows and did all the extras.. called and complained.. so I think I will try again well they did it again! if your not doing the windows and sweeping etc. then don't charge the extra 40.00 the oils change is 88.00 at my regular place with out the extras ! this is my last time! not right to charge and mark completed if you did t do it .. very shady and not honest work .. not happy! read more

I've used this location for the past few years and was about to give up on them until the last 2 times which Warren and his team have provided outstanding service. Warren runs a tight shop and is involved in all aspects. Good thing because he knows his stuff and has a great attitude. He understands the mentality of taking a vehicle in for an oil change. All we really want is an efficient process and an oil change as quick as possible which is what this location provides. The last 2 trips have been 20 minutes or less with no line. Can't beat that ! I don't recommend going to jiffy lube. I went there yesterday to get my oil changed. They also are supposed to check all fluid and the tire pressure. As I pulled out the low air pressure light came on. I called and they said the put air in all tires and the light would reset itself shortly. It didn't! I went to my mechanic today who put air in all tires! Jiffy Lube didn't do what they said they did. I wonder if they even changed the oil! And they cost more than a lot of other places. read more

I had my oil changed on 2/25/16 At 2049 Bee Ridge Sarasota Florida They change the oil and didn't put the filter on right and all the oil came out and the car shut down and had to tow the car from Plant City Fl to a dealer in Sarasoto Fl to get engine checked out the tow bill was 354.00 and to check engine out it coast 573.57 and the total coast was 927.59 and they are not paying the bill so went to see a lawer . Being away from home but needing an oil change we thought that Jiffy Lube might be a good bet. We really should have gone anywhere else. Listening to the sales pitch for additional items given to the people ahead of us, we were prepared to say no and did so. Even so, the price was higher than expected. The work was sloppy as well. The white interior of our car ended up with greasy finger prints all around. They failed to reset the oil change indicator, so we are driving around now with the permanent message on our dashboard that we need an oil change. There are plenty of other places nearby that I'm sure will do a better job than this one! I will not go to another Jiffy Lube! read more
