I have an older vehicle and can't justify spending over-priced dealer maintenance costs. On the flip side I'm always hesitant about quick-service chains. But this place is dependable, super fast, and the service is always excellent. I was in and out for a an oil change in 15 minutes today and Adolfo was about as personable as they get. I came in the other day with my boyfriend to get an oil change. The young man told me at the counter that it would be about 30 minutes because a couple cars were ahead of mine. We decided to walk across the street to the A-1 Mart and look through their amazing beer selection to waste some time. Upon returning, about 30 minutes later, we were told that they hadn't even got to my car yet because they didn't have the proper socket to access my oil filter! That's ridiculous! There are other tools to get the job done! They had my contact information and didn't even call me to let me know! I'm always skeptical about big chains but I've taken my car here twice for an oil change (it's an oooold car and I get the fancy high mileage synthetic stuff) and I really like the employees here. They're friendly, quick, and good at what they do. Prices are reasonable, and no high pressure upsell type stuff. And, as another reviewer said, they seem to be pretty happy while they're working! Service was quick and professional and the attendants are very personable. I came in on a Sunday and received great service. Only recommendations, no up sales or attempts to get more money out of me. I've trouble in the past with some of the other Jiffy Lubes in the area - they try to sell you lots of things you don't need and cut corners. Despite my reservations - I decided to give this Jiffy Lube a chance and I'm really glad I did. My experience here as been awesome! These guys don't try to sell you things you don't need just make a quota. In fact, I walked in today to get an oil change because I thought I was over my mileage and needed one - but when I got there they told me that since I got a particular oil in my car (best synthetic they have) that it should be at least 5K miles until I need another oil change. Then they told me that since I got the signature oil change they'd top me off - check everything and make sure I was good to go and then send me on my way - FOR FREE. I can't tell you how much I appreciated how kind and professional they were. Plus, the fact that they don't try to oversell me will keep me coming back and allows me to actually trust that they have mine and my cars best interest at heart - which is HUGE. If you need an oil change - please try out this Jiffy Lube, because not all Jiffy Lubes are created equal and the people that work at this one are awesome! read more

Sigh. I was really angry, but now I calmed down. I am always a lurker on yelp, but I was compelled to write this today. I haven't been ripped off like this in a long time. I have been to this Jiffy Lube about 8 times now and I can not believe they would try to pull a stunt like this. They changed my oil with a synthetic blend because I wasn't in the lobby and they couldn't ask what kind of oil I wanted to use. Right. I was right outside in front because the waiting room is about 4''x8' and smelled like cigs and stale coffee. So, they decided to use the more expensive oil without asking me. I have never used synthetic oil before. They kept on saying that was used before according to my records, but I said that I would never pay more for synthetic oil. They tried to charge me $72 for an oil change. $72 dollars! I only wanted to pay for what I usually get versus want they gave me. I spoke to the district manager and his condescending and mocking attitude of "You paid already and there is nothing you can do, ha-ha" was the worst of all. Wow. Childish, ninner-ninner mocking was ridiculous. I had to stop to laugh and gave up. He even threaten to have me forcibly removed from the premises. Too bad, I didn't have my iphone on record and I would have youtubed it. Needless to say, but not only will I never go to a Jiffy Lube, but also, glad I have friends and family to share my pain with. I've had the same issue with this location as one customers post. I got in a verbal argument with the attendant there as in when to change my oil. My Ford owners manual states that every 5,000 miles my oil should be changed, and she said that no, every 2,500 to 3,000 miles, and she was VERY rude about it. I'm sorry but I bought the car thru Ford and the warranty is thru Ford and Ford built the car, not Jiffy lube. I'm going to listen to Ford. They are just pissed because they will now lose money that more people are changing oil every 5,000 and some synthetics every 10,000 miles. I will never use that Jiffy lube again. Please for the love of god DO NOT take your car here. They screwed up my oil change and I had to pay a mechanic to fix it. It leaked oil and almost ruined my car. The people who work here are extremely professional and very friendly. I always get oil changes here because of their service. I recently had a check engine light come on the day after an oil change. I've taken my car here a few times when I realized that I was overdue for an oil change. They do a lot of upselling, which I find annoying, and the prices are a bit high. They are quick, do a nice job, and you don't need an appointment. I just prefer a local business over them. read more

I understand that revenue per transaction is important, but friendliness should not decline after add on services are politely declined. I was skeptical about coming in for an oil change because I've heard bad things about Jiffy Lube. I bought in my 2007 kia sportage for an oil change expecting to be forced to buy a lot of unnecessary parts and services. I was surprised when the time came to pay he just told me that everything checks out good. The only thing they recommend was replacing the back wipers. I am amazed by how polite, professional and quick these people are. Definitely coming back to this LOCATION ONLY. This place gets ZERO stars. They killed my car. Yesterday I went to get my oil changed, and had driven about 4 miles or so when I heard a "KLAKLUNK", saw all my engine lights come on, heard the engine shut off and found myself stranded right off the highway. Thank God I was able to steer off an exit ramp or I would have definitely been in danger. My mechanic saw it today and noted a complete lack of oil filter, zero oil in the car, and a completely dead engine which had seized due to lack of oil. This is a dearly beloved car I have owned for 13 years that has never given me any trouble. I went to discuss the matter in the store today and was told the manager will be out until Wednesday and is unreachable. The corporate office only goes to voicemail. The guy in the store did not even know how to refund my oil change. Additionally, they are supposed to "wash" your windows with the oil change. Three windows were "washed" with two dirty streaks; the drivers window was not washed at all. RIP dear car. read more

I get my oil changed here all the time. They are so good and friendly i will not go anywhere else to have my service done. Always fast and never pressure me to buy thing that i don't need. I have had multiple cars in for service. 2 Toyota's, my wife's let us and my Honda's also. They follow what my manufacturer recommends as far as oils and things. Toyota and Lexus recommend synthetic blend or higher for my cars and Jiffy lube has it. Also my Honda's need the same oil but different oil weight and they have that too. Never again. I got one of those class action text message coupons worth $17.29 off any service, and decided to give them a go. The sign outside the store read "oil change $29.99." I get in there, and after my car is up on the lift, they tell me that the $29.99 is just for the basic oil change service, and to put synthetic or high-mileage oil in the car, it will cost $79.99 and $99.99 respectively. I've had high-mileage oil put in my car for years at Firestone, and have NEVER paid more than $30 for the labor plus oil. I asked them why it was so much more expensive than Firestone, and they said because their oil is higher quality. I don't buy it. Plus they told me that my coupon was not good for the basic oil change, even though it did not say that anywhere on the coupon. Since I was there and my car was already up in the air, I just had them do the basic oil change with the regular oil. The guy working there then proceeded to argue with me over what mileage interval my car needed to have the transmission fluid changed, even though I had my car manual with me. After changing my oil, I was told my serpentine belt was cracked and should be replaced, even though my car does not have a serpentine belt, so there's that. To top off this horrible experience, the next day, I started received calls from an 800 number. That number called me multiple times a day, at ungodly hours of the morning and evening. On the 2nd day, I googled the number and discovered that the number belonged to Jiffy Lube, asking people to do a survey (even though I had done a survey while I was in the store.) I blocked the number on my phone so I don't received any more of those calls. The only positive thing is that the oil change was really fast. Less than 10 minutes. If you do end up going there, just don't give them your real phone number =) read more

First off, i am not one to write reviews but i specifically downloaded the app so i could write this one. I stopped at this location to get my oil changed and when i pulled up the greeter was in the process of pulling another car into the garage so i parked and started to get my things ready for him to come say hi. In the mean time another patron pulled up, parked and jumped out of his car and went inside. The employee came to me and said that it was going to be over an hour wait because i was fifth in line (the fifth car pulled up after me) i said fifth, I was here before that guy why am i fifth? He then proceeded to tell me that the other patron talked to him first. I said are u serious, how was i supposed to talk to u; when i pulled up u were pulling another car into the garage. He never denied that he saw me pull up before the other patron he just rudely stated that i was still fifth. I could not believe this was the customer service i was experiencing and made it known that these people will NEVER put their hands on my car or get my business. Instead i went to the Jiffy Lube on 45th, not only was i treated with respect but the people there were extremely friendly, courteous and ready to get to work. Instead of waiting for over an hour stewing over how poorly the experience from the people at the Holman Jiffy Lube was, i was able to get my oil changed by PROFESSIONALS by the people at the 45th st Jiffy Lube and was on my way in about 15 minutes. read more
