I felt the service at Jiffy Lube was above and beyond what I would expect from a simple oil change place. I've had oil changes done on both of my cars (a Chevy and a Ford) They always offer to vacuum out my car, and also check and inflate my tires. These are small things that don't take alot of time, but it goes a long way. The staff has always been exceptionally friendly. I've never had any problems with them. My one gripe is that their price is a little bit higher than I am used to. However, the service they provided makes it worth it, which is why I go back. They also don't take on extras. I always hated it when oil change places would remind me to change "XXX" fluid, "clean your engine", or "change your air filter for your cabin". They've never tried to sell me stuff I don't need. My car also takes synthetic motor oil, which lasts 6000 miles. Lots of places I went in the past would write "3000" or "4000" miles on the sticker. I appreciate that this plae was honest, and put the actual life of my oil on the sticker. I would definitely go back here, and will the next time my cars need oil changes. read more

Stopped in on a weekday morning for an oil change, and couldn't be happier with the experience. I've never been into an auto shop because my husband does all the car maintenance, and they were so friendly and patient with me. I had no idea what I was doing (parked in the wrong place, did the key hand-off wrong, didn't have good answers to their car questions...) and they were very professional, up-front, and clear about the service without talking down to me or making me feel dumb or out of place. A nice surprise that the service included vacuuming our floors and checking a list of other systems to make sure everything looked good. Preparing for a car trip, it gave my husband great peace of mind and saved him time that he'd have used to inspect belts, check the tire pressure, etc. Great service, great product. WARNING!!!! I have waited over a year to write this due to ongoing conversations between our insurance and jiffy lube. However I think it's important to share our experience. We took our Lexus CT200h for a routine servicing. We had bought the car less then 3 months before this appointment and were trying to take care of our new car. The service while we were there was curt and a bit abrasive but it was the end of the day and we wrote it off to their desire to close down for the day. Upon leaving the Jiffy Lube everything seemed fine until I was a few blocks from home and the engine light went on and the car stopped altogether. I was with my 18month old daughter and fortunately a kind passerby helped me push the car to a safe place for us to wait. After having Triple A come out and tow our car to the dealer we found out that Jiffy Lube had not tightened the Oil Pan Plug and that I had been driving without oil in the car. the engine in our new car was destroyed and we had to put in a completely new engine. Luckily insurance covered this but I am still out of pocket the $500 insurance required me to pony up. Insurance went after Jiffy Lube for the cost of the new engine but they refused to go to arbitration and the cost of going to trial wasn't something our Insurance was willing to do. Save yourself the time and find a mom and pop shop to go to. The guys here don't care about their job and/or are not receiving the correct training. screwing the oil pan plug back in properly is servicing 101. read more

I've always had a good experience at this Jiffy Lube. They used to go above and beyond. My most recent visit has changed that though. I will no longer go to this location for my oil change needs. I pulled up to the doors and the mechanic inside was screaming "hello and asking how I was." I couldn't hear everything he was saying, so I began to pull further into the bay. He then screamed for me to stop and gave me a filthy look. Luckily, the gentleman that helped me at the counter said that the mechanic is sensitive about people driving into the bay due to lack of clearance. I explained that in the past I had been able to drive into the bay without any issue and nobody made a complaint. I said "maybe that's because I'm a competent driver." Again, the man providing the customer service was very kind and made me laugh. Unfortunately though, people make a first impression within the first 30 seconds. So, needless to say I will no longer be using this Jiffy Lube's services. Good riddance, to bad rubbish! read more

I stopped in the parking lot to get lunch at the bar b que place next door. When I came out my previously working great car would not start. Chip the manager offered to jump my car and to help trouble shoot. Turns out the battery had simply come loose and needed to be tightened. They did all of this and then didn't charge me a thing....truthfully they could have sold me a new battery and I wouldn't have know the difference. Very grateful for their help. I got my oil changed at this location on 8/23, and they failed to properly attach the oil filter, resulting in all the oil leaking from my car and the engine being completely ruined, dying while I was driving on the freeway and putting me in very real danger. I need an *entirely new engine* now, on a car that previously had zero mechanical problems, ever. Thus far they are dragging their feet and trying to find a way out of replacing my engine or assisting me with interim transportation in ANY way. I am utterly appalled at the combination of ineptitude and lack of remorse, and I strongly encourage everyone to avoid this company like the plague. read more

Ew. Ew. Eww! Immediately after leaving Jiffy Lube, I ran home, took my clothes off and put them in the wash. The waiting room was so gnarly, I'm sure my clothes picked up all sorts of nastiness just by touching the seats. Seriously, Jiffy Lube, it wouldn't hurt you to have someone set aside a few minutes of their time to give the lobby a deep clean. I realize I am waiting at some car joint, but that doesn't mean I want to wait in filth. As for the customer service, well, that could be spruced up a bit too. I wandered to the lobby door and didn't see anyone around. Then I noticed one of the workers chatting on his cell phone in the back and the only other worker I spotted was behind a semi-closed door, not paying attention. When they finally bothered to greet me (read: mumble), I was starting to second guess whether or not I wanted to give them my business. In the end, my car got its much needed oil change in less than 20 minutes. And I was only *slightly* pressured to have more work done. read more

Too bad minus stars aren't an option. My Jiffy Lube journey started at their Ballard location, where I was told they didn't have an oil filter for my car. So I went to an auto parts store and got one. Came back to Jiffy Lube, and was told oops! We don't have the 10-30 oil my car requires, only 5-30 (I have an older 80's car). But, they say, our Greenwood location has 10-30. So I go to Greenwood, where I'm told they only have 10-30 in synthetic oil, and my oil change is going to cost $87 after my $15 coupon. A total ripoff, but I need an oil change, and I've already go an hour invested in this, so I say ok. They pull the car in, and stick a hose down the the tube that houses the oil gauge, to pump out the old oil. Bad idea, since sludge accumulates in the bottom of the oil pan, and draining oil from the plug in the bottom of the oil pan is the best way to make sure all the nasty stuff goes away. Fortunately for me, their suction method didn't work, so they had to drain from the pan anyway. Unfortunately for me, the guy under the car then proceeds to reef on the drain plug in the wrong direction, tightening it rather than loosening it (this, after the manager had to go down below the car to SHOW him where the drain plug was located). Up above, the guy who's supposed to check the oil can't find where the dip stick is supposed to go. I pointed all this out to the manager when I paid, and she told me that it appeared they needed to work on training. She added, "Look at the bright side - they finally figured it all out." No mistaking any of this for competence, that's for sure. Now I've gotta take my car to a real mechanic, to make sure the filter doesn't fall off while I'm driving. Never again will I go to a Jiffy Lube. read more

I use Jeffry Lube for this location regularly for oil change and other maintenance for my car. Staff are all very friendly. They provide fast service done very professionally. They even perform tire pressure and other maintenance check for me even stop by for complementary oil top off! I used other fast oil change service place before, but I never seen great service like Jeffry Lube at this location and keep going back. Thank you very much for all your help having my car runs smoothly. Specially thanks to manager (sorry I forgot your name)for having great team working for you. I had two issues #1) They told me that my manufacturer would recommend the use of a synthetic oil, which after the fact I researched which was absolutely not true. ($45 upcharge) #2) I was told that I could drop it off and it would take 5 minutes and it ended up taking over 20 minutes for someone to check me in. I won't be back. read more

Took my car in for a routine oil change which was fine. Upsold to a tire rotation in which I asked for the tire pressure to be checked because I noticed the tires appeared low on air. I was told they check the pressure as part of the routine service. Also sold me license plate light bulbs. After service my tail lights stopped working, my license plate lights don't work, and I woke up this morning with a flat tire (car was serviced two days ago). Roadside assistance checked tire pressure in all tires and said there's no way anyone put any air in the tires because they were completely unbalanced. In taking it to a tire servicer I was told Jiffy Lube was notorious for that, smh. I was better off before getting serviced here, hence the two stars. read more

I will not be back. They forgot to put my sensors back together under the hood, and one melted. A mechanic figured it out for me. I'm still waiting to be paid by Jif-Lube. No apology of course, and this took forever to resolve. I don't blame the people who work there. It seems to me they push pretty hard, but without suitable time and training to start disassembling cars. The purpose seems to be to up-sell air-filters and the like, and the bill ends ups higher than it probably should be anyway for the simple oil change I came in for. read more

Amazing service I came in as they were closing and the staff was super nice about it and the fact that they had to stay Kate to help me out. Even tho they were about to close I still was given great service and was taken care of. Very professional and the techs knew there stuff about all the products and why they recommended what they did was the best. I am going to be a repeat customer due to the service and the professional service I was given. I was also made sure that I was happy with the price and was even shown how to get a discount with the use if a current promotion I had no idea was available I was directed on how to get coupon and all this was done as they were.closing and tiring to leave.
