I came to this location about a week ago to get an oil change and they asked if I wanted my tires rotated. I said yes.. unfortunately they couldn't do my tire rotation because they said they needed a certain type of lifter for my car ?? I have a Chevy Impala mind you I know nothing about cars so I believe them. Before leaving I asked is there anything that I need to do to my car does Everything look OK they said yes I'm all set they added windshield wiper liquid, air to my tires all that ! They recommended me to somewhere else to get my tires rotated and balanced. So about three days ago, I take my car to another shop and they told me you don't need them to get rotated and balanced You need a whole new set! Apparently my two front tires are extremely bald and the mechanic went as far as telling me that it's very dangerous to be driving my car the way my tires are looking . Yes I do Take fault into not noticing earlier But I didn't think to look since I've been told that my tires are just fine and like I previously said, I know nothing about maintaining a car, but that's why I ask questions so I can learn in hoping that these mechanics can pass me information so I can stay aware of my cars condition and certain stuff I need to stay on top of .I trusted the mechanics to let me know if something were going on. It's just a little frustrating because they obviously had to look at my tires since they did as well add air to them. so how did they not see how bad they were and not let me know especially when I ask them if there's any other maintenance that I should be doing to my car I don't know much but I'm trying to learn ! On top of that I had let the tech know that I drive a lot on a daily basis From Work school daycare . I'm just really frustrated and don't understand why they wouldn't have told me? Just makes me feel like maybe they take advantage of their customers especially the ones who don't know much. On a sidenote, I paid about $130 roughly around there for my oil change when I've been to different companies and it's always around the same amount $60-$80 ? I didn't think much of it because of course I'm willing to pay the money to make sure my car is OK but now knowing what I know now it just makes me feel really suspicious and untrustworthy of this location. read more

Waited until they pushed all the oil out of my car before letting me know they were out of all but the most expensive option. What a scummy bait and switch. This place ruined my car by not tightening my oil plug. My engine is ruined and it will cost me 8,000.00. The local business says they escalated the issue to their parent Company, TEAM CAR CARE. Team Car Care has not been helpful and we are still without a car and payment over 6 weeks later. According to the BBB website, Team CAR Care is responsible for destroying MULTIPLE CARS due to this very same issue in just the past three months. This is criminal negligence and should be investigated. Please be aware of this company who owns multiple local Jiffy Lubes. read more

I went in for an oil change. The guy who talked to me was friendly enough, but when I looked at the receipt, which was emailed to me instead of given to me onsite, they marked completed a couple of things on the checklist that they did not actually do. Now I wonder if they did any of the other things on the checklist because I couldn't see that work from inside the car. I should add: they weren't busy; I was the only customer there. I stopped in today with my new Jeep since I could not get the oil drain plug off cause it was in a bad position. So I told them I have my oil and oil filter with me, so I just need them to drain and fill. They where very helpful and went right to work. I had already done everything else on the vehicle, so I knew everything else was good to go. They did not ask to do anything else so I was happy with that. The issue that I did run into is that they charge $48 to drain and refill the oil. That seems excessive. I guess it's on me since I should have just bought some lifts to get to the drain bolt easier. I have been coming here since 2010 and I will always come here even if I pay a little extra (always end up paying $100 somehow!). The staff is so amazing!! They are over the top friendly and polite. On this last visit I asked for water, since I didn't have any and had to wait in my hot car for my turn, and one of the guys went across the street and got me a huge ice water from a restaurant. I called ahead of time and was told the oil change would cost 49.99 plus tax. When I got there the guy told me it would be 77.00 total. I explained to him I was told on the phone it would be cheaper and I could not afford his price. He gave me a website for a promotion. I had to go next door for free wifi by the time I came back he did the oil change eventhough I told him not to. I barely had enough to pay. I pulled up and was accommodated to right away. Showed to the cold water and restroom while I waited. Wasn't there for more than 20 Minutes and they checked EVERYTHING while doing my oil change. Alexis was so so so helpful. She didn't sugar coat anything and was straight to the point on what's necessary now and what to keep an eye on. She understood I'm a college student and didn't put emphasis on things that weren't necessary just to get money out of me. She was very real, professional, and knew her stuff! First of all, this may be a very fine business, but I didn't get the chance to find out. Granted, I had limited time, but that's why I thought a company named "Jiffy Lube" with a big banner reading "15 Minute Oil Change" would be able to get me in and out in the 30 minutes I had available. The first thing they asked was if I'd been there before and when I said no, he said they'd have to work up a "profile" for me. And then he left. Now, that put me off a bit because, as everyone knows, profiling is wrong. And I'm not trying to get my car into a dating service. I just want to get the old oil drained out, the filter replaced, and new oil put in. Then I waited about 20-25 minutes while other cars were worked on. There was a great deal of shouting of numbers and letters and commands. I thought perhaps I'd driven into the conning tower of a nuclear submarine. Finally, I flagged down one of the earnest young men running around and told him I'd have to leave because I was out of time. He said I was next! But, honestly, next could have been another 30 or 40 minutes. There was no way to tell. So... if you have the time, and you want to be profiled to establish an ongoing meaningful relationship with a group of earnest, hard-working men who shout a lot and know their lube, then Jiffy Lube is the place for you. But if you need to zip into somewhere and get an oil change, this ain't the joint. read more

Good Afternoon! I just want to tell you how absolutely thrilled I am by the visit I made to Jiffy Lube on Wednesday, 2/26/2020. I have been a loyal customer of this location for over twenty years (!) and have always been happy with the service I have received. However, this one took the cake! My "Replace Engine Oil" light came on in my vehicle the other day, so I swung in to the store. I was met by Mari and Randy, who immediately popped my hood and started working. Turns out, I had been to the store within the last couple of months, and someone had forgotten to reset the computer in my car. And, they also improperly filled out the little sticker on my windshield. Mari said that they topped off my oil, which was a tad low, and checked the other fluids. There was NO CHARGE for the top off, nor the inspection of the vehicle! I could have paid for a complete oil change (+/- $60!) and not known the difference! I am so impressed with the honesty of Mari and Randy, I am just overwhelmed! I could have been taken advantage of and had no idea!!! This is the reason I continue to return to not only Jiffy Lube in general, but this specific location! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for having such wonderful people in your employ! The wait was kind of long but once I got in there it only took about eight minutes for Roman to get everything done and get me out.

By my own fault, I had let the car get overdue for an oil change so needed to get it done. I am new to town and was so busy and didn't have time to call around so just stopped in. They quoted me about $100 for the premium service. I do drive a lot so opted for that which was about $20 more. As part of that, I was told all my fluids would be topped up, tires checked, vacuumed inside and my windshield cleaned. The quote seemed very high but I agreed since I needed it done ASAP (plus the "premium" checks and cleaning - the cleaning being a big plus). I can't be sure about the fluids but the tires were not checked well, if at all. One looked low the next day and when we checked, the pressure was low. And, the car was not cleaned as stated. I should have noticed before I left but my mind was on other things. I don't know if my service level was not communicated from the office worker to the garage staff or whether they just didn't bother to do what they promised. Based on my direct interactions, my suspicion is the former but who knows. It seems petty now to go back and ask for a quick vacuum but it's the principle. I shouldn't have to as it should have been done as promised. So expensive and didn't get what was promised. read more

There are a lot of oil change options out there, even a lot of Jiffy Lubes to choose from. Choose someone else from this place. Manager tried strongly to upsell me, and when I declined he became visibly angry. I was told they would give me a call when my car was done (I was just waiting across the street at the McDonalds). After waiting an hour I finally wandered back to see what was going on. The same manager said they don't make calls to tell you your car is done (well then why did you say you would? I would have waiting in the store. And you can still call me to upsell, but not to tell me the car is done?). I waited over half an hour extra for no reason. When it came time to pay, they tried to charge me more than their outside advertised special, and the manager was abrupt and unhelpful. I got back to my car to see they had left the headlights on, presumably that whole time I was waiting (and it was the day time)! What the heck is going on with this place? read more

I stopped into this location while running errands last week. I usually go to a different Jiffy Lube but was in a different area of town than normal when I realized they didn't have anyone in the bays and I could just sneak in quick. I only had a normal check up/oil change on my old car, but I was so impressed with Alexis' service I just had to give her 5 stars. I love the service at the other Jiffy Lube location as well (Oracle & Ft. Lowell), but I will make a point to try to come back and see Alexis here next time I need an oil change/service. read more

Original Post 3/14/2018: WARNING!! NEGLIGENT MECHANIC/SHADY MANAGER ALERT! Their $80 oil change did me $1,500 worth of damage!!! Negligent service. Worthless warranty. Dishonest staff. Totally shady. DO NOT GET YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED HERE! I went to Jiffy Lube for a simple oil change. During the oil change, they checked the rear differential fluid. According to my work order, the rear differential was full, and they didn't change or add any fluid. Less than a week later, my truck started making a scraping noise. I had stopped at a shop to get my front tire replaced. I asked them about the scraping sound in the rear, and the tire shop technician said I had NO FLUID in my rear differential! He thought I might have a leak. I called Jiffy Lube from the tire shop, since my Jiffy Lube technician never mentioned or noted any differential leaks. The technician I talked to insisted that he told me that the rear differential was leaking... but somehow this lie wasn't recorded on my work order. I decided that figuring out what was going on with the differential was more important than getting my tire replaced. Since the tire shop didn't repair differentials (and Jiffy Lube said they didn't, either), I let Jiffy Lube know I was having my truck towed to a transmission shop. At the transmission shop, the technician said I had no signs of a differential leak. IF JIFFY LUBE CHECKED THE FLUID, he said, THEY MUST HAVE FORGOTTEN TO REFILL IT. Without differential gear oil, the housing, axle bearings, ring and pinion, and clutch case were all damaged. Repairing and replacing the parts, he said, would cost around $1,500. Once again, I called Jiffy Lube. Alexis the manager asked if she could have my truck towed to ANOTHER shop for inspection. Thinking they intended to make things right, I gave them permission to tow my truck. BUT THEY SAID THEY WEREN'T AT FAULT BECAUSE I HAD TAKEN MY TRUCK TO ANOTHER SHOP. If Jiffy Lube was really interested in providing "satisfactory service," they could have offered the inspection when I called them from the tire store. They've contradicted their own service checklist and work order, and they won't take responsibility for their mistake. I was told by one store associate that they had checked the fluid and filled it, but then the manager told me they checked it and it was full. According to their warranty, Jiffy Lube services are guaranteed for 90 days or 3,000 miles. My truck didn't even make it a week! Negligent service. Worthless warranty. Dishonest staff. Totally shady. DO NOT GET YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED HERE! EDIT 5/3/2018: IF YOU LIKE CRAPPY SERVICE AND DISHONEST CUSTOMER SERVICE. GET YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED AT JIFFY LUBE! After my vehicle was finally fixed, there was still the matter of reimbursement for the oil change, the transmission shop, and the fare I used for other means of transportation. In negotiating, Jiffy Lube simply emailed me saying that they had closed my case and that any request for funds was denied. Upon receiving this email, I called Jiffy Lube and was told that I WOULD be receiving the money and that someone would call me back. Throughout this whole ordeal, I've always had to call Jiffy Lube Corporate and Heartland Automotive over and over again in order to speak with someone. Whenever I called they simply would tell me that someone would call me back, and that either wouldn't happen or I had to constantly call until who I needed to talk to would call me back. The dishonesty and shadiness of Jiffy Lube and Heartland Automotive is unacceptable. I am still waiting for a representative to contact me. read more

I usually cringe a bit when I go to get my oil changed, I have a 2002 Dodge Neon with 110k miles on it, being an older car I usually am up sold every service in the book. It's been 6 months since my last oil change, and I've only driven 1,800 miles since then, as I like to bike and walk a lot and live close to work. The team that helped me today were very courteous and thorough, and instead of charging me for an oil change, it was considered a "top off" and wasn't up sold on anything. They topped off all of my fluids, checked my tire pressure and vacuumed my car.
