Went there for a conventional oil change. Super nice staff and helped me out in a super short time! Alexis was really awesome in explaining everything. Ended up needing a cabin filter change but after I left I still had some debris in my fan so I had to turn around and go back, but they vacuumed it out very quickly and let me go on my way! Staff and manager were professional and efficient. I started with JL after a highly touted owner-operated shop in Tucson almost trashed my engine with an inattentive oil change. The place was mobbed; a good sign. The wait time was not excessive. No hard up sells, just some pointers re: high mileage maintenance. 2005 E Cactus Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85022 Don't ever take your car to this place. I had never had one single light turn on from my dashboard. However, 2 days after I had a tune up done from Jiffy Lube 3 Lights came up. The Check Engine, the Tire Sensor and worst of all "Brake Fluid Low" When they had just claimed it was almost empty so they had to use 5 pints of it. So I call to submit my complaint and the had me talk to a Manager on site and he said he would submit it to The Region and Area Manager. All I got is them coming out and redoing the Brake Fluid again. I asked for a full refund obviously because Im going to have to take my truck to someone I could actually trust. All they said they would refund is the Brake charge. Mind you, I almost got in a crash because of the brakes failing when taking it to get checked, with my kids in the vehicle. When I told them that all I got was "We're sorry you had to go through that." I will make sure none of my family members or friends ever visit Shady places like this. They charged him 120.00 for what should have been a very basic oil change. I spoke to a girl named Alexis who claimed to be the manager but REFUSED to give me her last name. The young man who came outside obviously didn't care about his job, it was almost as if he was hungover or something. He wasn't very polite either. The other man whom I assume was supervisor was rude as well, I didn't want new wipers or a filter ( it's my friends car) he instantly didn't seem to care about my service. I came in because my car was making a horrible rattling noise and was not turning properly, and initially was told I should get my vehicle towed to another shop. But it was a slow day and the two gentlemen in the garage offered to look at my car anyway. They went beyond the call of duty and fixed everything then and there, and saved me so much time and money. I was truly shocked at their willingness to examine the problem, which was unclear at first. Crew is alright. GM will sell you shit you don't need to make her numbers look good. I worked her about 2 months. Couldn't stand being lied to anymore and left. Just go to a shop, you'll pay less and get a better filter. The filters jiffy lube uses cost them cents. They are dirt cheap and worthless. read more

New management (Vic) has made this place shine! In the past there was a moderate tendency to up-sell things like air filters that were hardly in need of replacement. As such, I dreaded seeing the new manager walk into the waiting room, fully expecting him to recite a list of all the filters and fluids that I will likely need in the next 10 years, but don't need now. To my infinite delight, he instead told me that the air filter and transmission fluid would be fine for another 3-4 months, and that--if it were his car--he would not do things any differently. Kudos and thanks to you, Vic, for your honesty and integrity. I hope that you end up managing many more stores for Jiffy Lube and that your integrity proves to be contagious. read more

I always get my oil change at jiffy lube and its usually this location, it's super convenient and prices are fair, plus my discounts for being a loyal client. I'm going out of town for the weekend and just wanted to make sure my car was ok for the drive and my experience was outstanding! Turned out my car needed more details than I expected but they took care of everything and more, the assistant gm ( Alexis , if I remember correctly ) even took the time to sit down and explain everything to me with detail , that made me feel like I was in great hands and super comfortable. Driving my car after all the changes was amazing too! It feels super different and safe. Spending money on your car in the middle of summer in Tucson doesn't sound like fun but this team made my day and experience better and enjoyable! Great job!! read more

Esai Y. (Associate at the register) came out and offered a high mileage oil price with a 15$ discount. Nicholas M. (General Manager) changed my oil then when going I to pay Esai Y. For the oil change the GM got an attitude about paying with cash (when having a sign posted about not accepting cash is understandable due to Covid-19). There was no sign posted stating this. The manage made sure to state his stature at this jiffy lube as he felt entitled. I informed the GM that I only had cash and there was no sign posted (going online after the fact I see that they only have info for their facilities covid-19 policy)and the GM became persistent that it doesn't matter that he is the GM. I told em I don't know what to tell you, you have no sign posted and I don't care manager or not I can't read minds. GM had Esai Y. take the money and charged me full price even after telling me I had a 15.00$ discount at full price. Esai Y said he couldn't give it to me bacause of the GM but he could try and get me a discount for the next oil change. First of all I applause Esai Y for dealing with that GM day in and day out but second who said I wanted to come back to the company for anything after being treated and talked to the way I was by this garbage leadership of a GM. As far as I am concerned Jiffy Lube stoke 15$ from me and offered me a 10$ discount on my next visit to try and right the wrong. This review is post solely due to the theft of the 15$ and the poor attitude of the GM. Poor leadership at this facility must lead to theft. Poor business practice. read more

Alexis and Clay did an absolutely fantastic job. This is my first time trying out Jiffy Lube, and I went in with a Groupon deal. As soon as I drove up Alexis walked me through the process and explained every step in detail and I was surprised by how much a basic oil change gets at Jiffy Lube. They checked through all of my headlights with me, showed me where my air filters are located and how to self install them if I choose to replace them myself at a later date, and I watched Clay go through and check just about every fluid in my car and top them off ( which they will even do in between services for free). Then before performing any maintenance or work she walked me through their inspection checklist, letting me know where my car was at at each of the points they checked, and gave me a heads-up to how close I was to the next recommended maintenance. This is the first time going into any auto shop that I have Not felt pressured to upgrade the service and Alexis was incredibly up front with how much everything was going to cost, no hidden disposal fees or anything like that. I walked away with an oil change in less than 20 minutes knowing more about my car and and feeling confident that I knew exactly what work was done to my car and that that work was done right. read more

Presumably the oil change was done satisfactorily, however I didn't enjoy the long upsell conversation, nor did I love that the guy was chewing tobacco and spitting the whole time. This is the second time I have gone to jiffy lube at this location. The techs are all really nice! They have great customer service. Yes the HM oil change is a bit pricy however, they also vaccumed out my truck and cleaned the Windows. So I say it's absolutely worth it. Thanks guys! read more
