First off I work out of my truck so wherever I'm at is where I buy gas, get oil services or a haircut. I was near this store this week and since I needed an oil change I dropped in. Store was clean and the staff was polite and very professional. I have almost 235K on my truck, I attribute this to my numerous oil changes at Jiffy Lube. I think the think that I've always loved the most about Jiffy Lube is that they sell service and not parts so I've never questioned what it is that they do, but this trip was a non stop up sell on every and anything. I'm not unhappy in the least about my visit or the care that my truck received while at this store. But I'm ANNOYED by the endless rapid fire offers to do any and everything to my vehicle, in many ways I wish they would get out of the nickel and dime game and just provide customer service Vs. lip service in the pursuit of driving up profits. read more

I have been a JL customer in 3 states for 30 years. No longer. In fact, this business lost three long-term customers today (my entire family and anyone else with whom I can share this). Here is why: I pulled up for an oil change, rolled down my window to communicate my wishes, and a young man pushing a broom in an EMPTY garage asked me what I wanted. I requested an oil change. He stood there and said, "Well, drive it in." I have never been asked to place my own car in the bay. There is a tight corner to turn and a large hole in the garage floor that I could drive right into and damage (my car tires and rims would suffer as well). I said that I was not sure about doing that and he created a fuss about "having to do this" for me. I pulled in, while he SHOUTED directions at me as if I were stupid or deaf. Then, when I tried to exit the car, having done HIS job, he screamed "STAY IN THE CAR". I blinked at him. He told me to activate this blinker/that light/those hazards...so now I was conducting my own safety inspection. I asked him if I should change the oil, since I was half done. He smirked. I went inside to wait and mentioned my concerns about the loss of service, kindness, and attention to detail. The person behind the counter brushed this off with "We are under new management." Well, new management, take a note...you made a mistake having customers do most of the service. I reminded them that I paid for service. I know how to change my oil, grease a suspension, change a tire and a battery. I am a scientist and ...GASP... a woman (quelle horreur)...and knowing how to do these things is my duty as an informed person. Still, I enjoy(ed) giving this franchise my business and paying a premium for the service, consumables, and disposal of old oil, etc ($60 for non-premium oil and only that cheap because I declined the expensive add-ons that they always try to toss in that any monkey can do (air filter, etc). The also charged my daughter $115 last month until she called us and put us on the phone with management who reluctantly relented when learning she was not as stupid as they'd guessed...and they discounted her to $85...for a simple OIL CHANGE and yes, she too did most of the servicing as I did. They did condescend to drive out my car for me. There were no other customers at the time I was there. No one was busy. I will never return. Their matter-of-fact "THIS IS THE WAY IT IS" was off-putting. Their lack of service was maddening. Their disrespect was the damning part...so I am telling everyone with whom I work and reach thousands of people at once. All I have to do is place this complaint on my workplace facebook organizational page. It is an abject lesson about how being a jerk allows people to vote against you with their wallets. My new 'Go To' for oil change and car maintenance. Service was wicked quick and friendly! They didn't try to up sell me in things I didn't need, after checking out my car. they did help me change my burnt out brake light with the bulb I've had sitting in my glove box for the last month, as DIY car maintenance isn't my strongest skill. They are extremely professional and made sure I had all of the options in front of me when things looked really bad with my engine. I went to have my oil changed. They were very prompt and courteous and did not try to sell other services. The tech asked me what kind of oil I wanted to use and when I didn't know, recommended a conventional change as my annual mileage is low. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. read more

What a neglectful service! My wife has used Jiffy Lube for years as her company in CA had her take her fleet car there. Always checking the tires and all around good service and recommendations. NOT this location. We have lived here 8 years and more than once felt she was ripped off as a woman. This time was the last time. She has faithfully had her oil changed at this location. Part of the inspection is to check tire pressure. They use to check tires. No recommendation was made until this last time when the man said, you might want to check your tires, cord is showing on the inside. That kind of wear just did not happen in the last 5K miles. When I went to get tires from Costco, the man asked looked at the back and asked why I was getting tires saying I was not even down to the wear bar. Then he saw the front and asked why the people who had been servicing the vehicle did not say anything. He was disgusted when I told him. The engine flush BS and other fluids BS done by this Jiffy Lube should be investigated. They prey on women. read more

Just moved to Tucson from Colorado. Read many reviews of oil change places in the area and decided to gamble on this Jiffy Lube based on the yelp reviews. Boy was I happy I did. Super friendly staff! Greeted me at my car, walked me inside, explained everything clearly, Didn't try to oversell a bunch of crap... Overall a great experience. I will be using them for all of my oil changes. I suggest you try them out too, you won't be disappointed! read more

They checked my brakes after they were making a weird click, and they fixed that along with another problem I was concerned with. Ed was very helpful and friendly, I will definitely return here if I have any other problems with the car. read more

I stopped in to have my tire pressure checked and tires filled with air. They discovered that I had a stick in the sidewall of one of my tires. Alan, the manager, reminded me that the tires were probably still under warranty and suggested I call the dealer before having it replaced. He filled the tire for me to get me by for a few days. This Jiffy Lube location for my service and many repairs from now on!!! Sudden out of town trip I needed assurance my diesel suburban was in shape. Where ever should I go late Saturday afternoon???
