About a year and a half ago, they recommended replacing part of my front suspension (I believe the struts). When I picked up my truck, it had a loud clunking noise over every bump. I took it back, and the owner rode with me, heard the noise, and had it corrected. After that, the clunking was gone. A short time later, I started hearing a metallic clanking from the left rear of the truck. When I looked underneath, I found a hammer lodged near the rear axle housing that had been left behind during the repair. I removed it and returned it to the shop. The employee simply thanked me--no apology or acknowledgment that leaving a tool on a customer's vehicle was unacceptable. Then, about two weeks ago, I brought my truck in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. About a week later, I noticed one of my rear wheel center caps was missing. Since the center cap is retained by the lug nuts, it doesn't simply fall off, I am sure they forgot to put it on when they rotated my tires. I called the shop, but they said they weren't aware of forgetting to put on my Toyota center cap, nor do they have one sitting around that may be mine. As a result, I'm shopping on eBay to replace it. Not good..!! I don't know what has changed, but the attention to detail at Alonso's isn't what it used to be. Unfortunately, they've lost my business. I can't recommend them anymore. If you do choose to use them, inspect your vehicle carefully before you leave. I should have done the same instead of driving off after a service and assuming I received the same quality service I'd experienced for so many years.

I noticed the front guy, Chris, he kept a calm demeanor and got the line moving quickly while also manning incoming calls very professionally, and coordinating with this guys. The smoothest, calmest, multi-tasking I've ever seen! I work in customer service, I recognize amazing service when I see it. This guy is efficient, professional and knowledgeable. While in the lobby, 3 people said they moved over an hour away but they make the trip here because they only trust Chris with their car diagnosis and repairs, (services beyond tire service). I had to come back next day Sunday and saw Chris perform solo efficiently, but with the same calm, collected demeanor despite less staff. A customer in a Porsche came in and she said she has been coming here for over 10 years, because after trying other mechanics, only Chris gives her a sense of confidence her cars will be taken care of. Give this man a raise! And a bonus. His presence is singlehandedly retaining customers.

Then the mechanic, says he can suddenly fix it! They tell us to bring it back after they repaired the oil plug to check it so we did that, than a few weeks later we notice oil on our garage floor, took it a different mechanic and he said the oil plug was missing the gasket and it was threaded on crooked! I won't be going back to Mountain View tire in Upland ever again!!! 0 stars!!!! Total incompetence!!!

WM offers several tiers of high quality oils for your oil change. The techs are neat and clean and have experience . I purchased my Goodyear Reliant tires here and they were half the price of the Costco ones and are outperforming those Bridgestones that were twice as expensive. I'm a WM plus member (Like Amazon Prime but For Walmart) The tire rotations are included in the extended warranty. The counter help is always polite and happy to answer any questions. I recommend going here. The Walmart App allows appointments.
