This facility charged me for an oil change and windshield wipers. I paid $130 for services only to have my car break down the next day. The mechanic that repaired my car stated, "There's some brand new windshield wipers not installed and just laying here on the old wipers, what happened?" Clearly, Jiffy Lube did not install them. I called the Store Manager and was referred to the District Manager when I asked for a refund for services I don't believe were provided. He said that they put on my invoice (which I was not provided in all of the paperwork they gave me) that wipers were not installed. Really?? Then why were they laying on top of my old ones?? If I asked you not to install them (which makes no sense), then wouldn't you just hand them to me in the packaging?? And why did the Store Manager say to me, "Looks like they forgot to install them" when I called to complain? This company, their management and business practices don't even deserve the one star I'm forced to put on here just to leave a review. Do not have your vehicle serviced here. read more

Saturday, September 23, 2017 I visited the jiffy lube at 1379 e foothill blvd. upland ca to have my both of my break lights for my 2015 Ford Escape replaced. Parker was the one to help me and started to work on my car and informed me it may take 15-20 minutes depending on how difficult it was to do. I was there for approximately 35-40 minutes. He first removed the lights on the door of my trunk and then removed the lights on the side panel of the car. I could see from the window him struggling and went out to ask him if all was ok. He said yes but that the bulbs he originally thought needed to be replaced was not correct and was just getting the second light off the drivers side of the car and that the clips keeping my light on the car were a little difficult. When he was through he came into the office and told me he was done and that he was sorry it took so long and even in the struggle to remove the light cut his finger. He told me all was good and the lights worked. Upon returning home I asked my husband to make sure the light were working and it was at that time we realized that both lights had been cracked and glued back together. T he passenger side light was loose. I immediately called the store back and headed back to the shop. Chris answered the phone and I asked to speak with Parker. I told him that I was headed back down there because the light was loose and that it looked as tho he broke the lights and tried to glue them back together. He then informed me that they had in fact broken and glued together my light but that he didn't notice the passenger side light being loose. When I arrived back to jiffy lube I spoke with Parker again and he said that he had already spoken with his manager and they would be replacing my lights but possibly with after market parts. I told him I was mostly upset that he did not tell me he broke the lights before I left. It seemed to me to be a very dishonest and low integrity work ethic. We are all human and all make mistakes and I understand accidents happen. What made me most upset was the dishonesty and trying to cover it up. Ed the manager spoke with my husband over the phone and informed him they would be replacing my back lights. I drove to Ford and got a quote for the parts and the labor that they would charge. My husband and I feel that since the lights that were broken we're Ford parts we should not be given after market. We also feel very strongly that we would not want anyone at that location to do the labor due to the problems that occurred today. Ed the store manager assures me that this issue would be handled as quickly as possible and that he was going to call Ford to work out the details as I left. He took my email address and a photograph of the quote from Ford. My husband I expect that the promises that were made today be fulfilled by Jiffy Lube. read more

One tire only had 2/5 lug nuts and a different tire had 4/5. Thankfully we made it through the Colorado Rocky Mountains to Denver safely by the time we noticed the vibrations. I pass other oil change shops to go to this specific Jiffy Lube. I feel that there is less pressure and less of an upsell than I have experienced at other oil change shops (even other Jiffy Lube locations). One thing that impressed me was when I came in the late afternoon on a Saturday, and one of the mechanics came out and asked what service I needed. When I said that I just needed an oil change, he said that, while they do not close for another two hours, there would most likely be an hour and a half wait because the cars in the three bays were getting a lot of service done. I ended up leaving and coming back the next morning. It impressed me because they could have wasted my time (just by working on the other cars, me waiting in mine) but instead they stopped what they were doing to let me know. Got there right when they opened at 7am and was the first (and only) person there. With two guys working on my car, I was in and out in about 30 minutes. This was my first time to this Jiffy Lube location. I have typically always gone to the one on Benson but on several occasions have caught them in lies. Michelle was the one to help me out and she went above and beyond to make sure I had an exceptional experience. Both Michelle and the initial gentleman to greet me were very warm and genuine. Unfortunately for all of us clients, it seems Michelle is moving on to larger endeavors (Happy For You!) however she did tell me that if I wanted to continue and receive the same warmth, honest and great service to always ask for either Mark or Ed.
