Wow this place treats their customers like garbage. They assume that everyone is stupid, It's a good thing that I'm not or my truck motor would be garbage right now! Their mechanic overfilled my truck with oil. He said he put in 12 1/2 quarts I told him he better not have because it only takes 10. There's a bit of a confusion because the mechanic thought there was 5 quarts in a gallon not 4 LOL. They told me that my tire pressure was 50 in all of my tires. I asked them if they added any air? the assistant manager who is ringing me up yelled out to the bay and they said that they did not even check the tire pressure. I just had new tires put on and knew they were lying about the tire pressure. I expressed my frustration about that and told him that I did not feel that it was honest to say you done something if you had not.he was nice and agreed with me and gave me a $5 discount to say sorry. I thought that was a nice gesture. I paid and went out and checked oil in my truck and it was overfilled. I went ahead and got the assistant manager and he came out and checked it and told me "it's supposed to be full". I showed him that if you did not put the dipstick all the way and leaving it out in a half an inch it still read full, then he agreed with me that they overfilled it and that they could drain some oil. They also got oil on the carpet in my truck. He told me to pull back around and they were drain some of the oil. Upon getting into the bay we found out that they did not even put in the oil that I purchased. They put in a completely different type, And they put in an extra 2 quarts. I contacted the franchise owner office and The receptionist took a message and said someone would call me back within 48 hours. 48 hours later I contacted them again because they still had not contacted me. I even got a call back from somebody that offered me a free oil change.I wanted them to clean the oil off my carpet. They told me that they would pay for a can of carpet cleaning scrub from an auto parts store if I wanted to clean it. They also said they would send me a refund check for the oil change. It's been 2 1/2 weeks and still have not seen a check. It's a good thing I checked my oil before I left. With the resistance they're giving me on having my carpet cleaned I can only imagine what it would be like if they had to do real motor work. I don't live by this Jiffy Lube and I will never go back. I just want the oil out of my carpet and I'm going to leave that to the pros. read more

I took my diesel truck here for an oil change. The Tech who worked on my truck forgot to tighten the drain bolt. Now i have two problems, the truck lost about three quarts of oil, and my brother's driveway was a mess. I proceeded to call the store and explained what happened. Curtis the assistant manager on duty stated they would take care of everything including my brother's driveway. When I arrived home that night i noticed another puddle of oil on the street right in front of my house. Great now I have problem number three. It happened when I stopped by the house earlier. I went to the shop the next day and Curtis himself proceeded to change the oil, and pressure wash the bottom of my truck. I went ahead and completed and incident report, Curtis assured me the manager would call me Monday to take care of my brother's driveway. Three days later and no call. I contacted the manager and the liar stated he did not have my information. I gave him the info again and we have yet to hear from James the manager. I think Curtis should be the manager, he has more customer service skills, he opened a service bay when I arrived and took care of my truck immediately without having to wait in line. Customer Service? What Customer Service ..... I stopped in for a top off of my fluids and was informed by the manager that I was 27 miles over the 3000 miles and that they would not be able to provide this service. I mentioned that I always come here and that I just don't have time today to wait for a full oil change, the manager informed me that it would be $6.00 to check my fluids. My vehicle has over 312,411 miles on it, the majority of my oil changes and other work performed at Jiffy Lube. Never again, if this is how they care to treat a loyal customer, forget it. read more

Came in for an oil change on my 94 ford ranger pickup Zachary who approached me took all the vehicle info and also told him I had a coupon for conventional oil change for $29.99 and he replied just show it when your truck is done. Next 10 mins my truck is done got called by Zachary and showed him the coupon so regular price without the coupon was $49.99 and I got charged $34.99 plus tax so I didn't feel like arguing for $5 but when I got the work order they put in oil type 5w-20 and I was like maybe its just typo so I asked nicely to the upper bay technician who checked and put new oil into my truck "excuse me do you know what viscosity of oil did you put in my truck and I got a reply "I don't know whatever it says on the paper that is what I put"(with an attitude). I told myself stay cool and next time just ask and make sure it will be the correct oil viscosity. Overall happy with quick oil change service but not the quality of work of their employees. read more

I have a 2013 Tundra and been trusting this place for oil changed for the last 2 years. Up until the last 3 oil changes I have been satisfied. One of the 3 last times they stripped out my oil fill housing, even though they replaced it I had to wait. The next time I went they have a list of things they do or they say they do, check the tire pressure didn't do, checked the air filter they didn't do and I had to tell the so called mechanic where the oil filter was and what he had to do to get to it... not from the top of the motor or under the plastic housing snapped to its supports, which they fell to snap back. The last time which was 4 days ago they removed the oil filter housing to find out all the pieces were not installed properly from the last time I had the oil change there, called parts house for part . Then on top of that I check my oil in my truck and guest what 1 1/2 quart from being full. The experience level here is well below average. read more

Horrible horrible crooked place after taking my car there for nine years every 5000 miles I will never never go back this last time I wouldn't let them change my air filters because her twice the price of what it cost to buy them at O'Reilly I told the guy that I had a brand-new one in the back and I would put it in when I get home I asked him to check my transmission fluid and he told me it was too dirty to change they just threw my air filter cover back on and didn't Clampett down so within hours my check engine light came on The manager had noticed when I didn't let them change my filter that I had never in nine years let them change my filter I told him why that the filter was only $15 at O'Reilly and they charge 3999 and I've never heard of your transmission fluid being too dirty to change I made appointment at Toyota to get my check engine light looked at and they told me it was because of the air cleaner filter not being clamp down $100 later the light was gone three days later he came back on I was told this time that there must be some of my line switched or they may have got plugged since the filter wasn't clamp down when I call Jiffy Lube manager on Broadway five times in a week never got a return call finally a week and a half later I got him on the phone and asked for his DM's phone number we don't have one so I pressed him and told him that I knew that they did so after being on hold for about six minutes he came back to the phone number phone and gave me a number it turns out it was the phone number for the corporate office of O'Reilly so I called the corporate office of Jiffy Lube and the woman laughed and she already had guessed that that's what they had done now it's been three weeks and still no call from anybody and no resolution on my check engine light I did take it to another Jiffy Lube and had to pay $80 to get my transmission fluid changed and they laughed when I told him that the other one in Vallejo told me it was too dirty to change I guess my only other resolution now a small claims court unbelievable after going there for nine years and taking three different cars read more

I'd like to start this review by saying that up until the very last moment of being at this Jiffy Lube location things were going great. Overall the customer service was wonderful Dre Who does the intakes and works the front desk was a pleasure to be around. However the oil change technician by the name of Willie was not as pleasant to work with. When I first pulled up and gave him my keys I asked if I should leave the car on. He gave kind of a mumbled response to which I shrugged and went on inside. The service itself was quick only about 15 minutes and I was off about my day. I paid for my oil change and Dre told me that the technician would be pulling my car around. I waited out in the front and the technician pulled out in front of me. While the keys were in his hand, I said thank you and reached out for them. He didn't say a word gave me the "hold on" finger . I said "Excuse me give me my keys" to which he didn't say word opened the shop door and asked Dre if I had paid. I had no problem with him checking to see if I paid. The problem was in fact his rude finger gesturing to me and a lack of communication from the very beginning to end. A little customer service goes a long way. I'll be calling Justice the manager very soon. Could've been an all out great experience but your oil technician ruined it for you. read more

I came in for an oil change and that went well and it was fast. They told me to replace the lights on my license plate would be $10. They started the job and then asked me to sign the estimate where it was now $20 plus labor. I was a bit peeved about that. Where to begin I've brought my Jeep here since I got it and have had to replace the drum brakes on my car 3 times within 1 years only have had the car for 3 each time they use faulty parts that rust out after first car wash not to mention first time they did my brakes my transmission went out a month later ( not related to there work) but car sat in a garage for 6 months not driven and when I started driving again horrible screeching took it in and they said I had no pads??? How tho? Car was driven was still in warranty only wanted to give me $100 off thought that was robbery consideringi didnt even drive the car but needed work done so paid the fee now 1 month later I'm back cuz the cheap parts they used broke a spring and bolt inside drum brake giving car a horrible sound now hear for replacement for free and they are trying to tell me I have rim locks on my car and it's been the same rims and lug nuts since I bought the car...not to mention brakes have went bad on my other car different make and model almost same issue with rear brakes...modal is cheap isn't always worth it spend the money and never get your car done here the use cheap parts that brake and have horrible customer service if you bring the car back and call them out on the issue read more

As a result of contacting the state bureau we were able to obtain a $20 refund for each of our cars ( fair enough). The manager at the Vallejo location muttered a brisk apology and so ended the multi-year relationship we had with Jiffy Lube in Vallejo. Thank you Mr. Avitia of the Bureau of Automotive Repair! I recently got my chrysler 300 oil change April 20,2016 they did not put my engine cover/support at the bottom of the engine (hard plastic cover) which protects the engine from the pavement. The whole thing fell April 24,2016 while at I-80 and the other part was left but it is not dragging at the pavement, heve to cancell my appointment. Hopefully it will still be fixed because I dont know how much will it cost to get a new one, just because it was not properly installed after oil change in this shop. I am planning to take it early in the morning tomorrow 04/25/2016 and see what will the owner tell me.. My reviews will be more to follow. For now I rate this shop no star... Hopefully they can resolve this issue. So I came back at this place talked to JAMES he did not address the issue, he told me it was a pre existing condition there was a missing bolt that he noted in my receipt.. If there is a missing bolt isnt he supposed to tell me I have to buy the missing bolt or if they are really customer oriented they could have placed a bolt and let me know before letting me go and putting myself in danger? He did nothing after he did the oil change service, take note this shop is offering PREVNTIVE maintenance.. They did not prevent my engine support from falling, instead they just let me go out of this shop unsafe . He said he will not cover for the engine cover because it is broken before.. Hello?!! JAMES??? it was not broken before there is a missing bolt that he did not fix and it fell and was broken. Here is my point my car is 2006 it is being oil changed in bay area before and they put the plastic covers with no peoblems until I went to this shop.... Took out truck there this weekend to get a oil change . It took forever a good 45 minuets of waiting. Also had the coolant filled as our truck was giving a message saying coolant low. They charge a extra $10 . We leave and 5 minuets later the coolant light comes back on . Ran an errand and went back to let them know it was still saying coolant low. Guy looks in and touches his finger to the side and pulls it out saying we put coolant in maybe there is a leak. The put more coolant in have a mechanic look and miraculously say there is a leak that they "forgot" to mention when we were first there but the mechanic is not there to run diagnostics , umm , we leave and guess what the light has not come back on since then. Interesting. Pretty sure if there was a leak then it would be all over the driveway. I wouldn't be upset if they said they forgot or didn't fill all the way . But to say they did it and there is a leak is super shady . I wonder how many other people they charge for service they don't actually do. read more

DID NOT have a good experience w/Jiffy Lube today!!! Main cashier (maybe manager??) had AWFUL customer service skills and was really rude when answering my questions! It was MY first time bringing the car in, and so naturally I had a few questions about the service, but whenever I asked a simple question, he'd give me a puzzled look and say "What do you mean??" Also, why was I charged double what they charged my husband when he brought the SAME car in for the last oil change??? I had a coupon for $15 off signature service oil change... and though it was partly my fault because I was in a rush to leave and pick up my kiddo, I had to GO BACK because 1. After looking at my receipt i realized they didnt give me the coupon's discount, and 2. they did not vacuum the floors even though the checklist on my receipt marked it as "completed" yeah right! I went straight back and asked for my discout, and that they vacuum the floors. Of course because there were new customers in the waiting area, they happily took care of my requests, but that didnt stop me from conversating w/the woman customer who was being quoted $200+ bucks for services. She told me she had a feeling that she doubted it should cost her that much, and I told her she was probably right!!!!!! Beware of Jiffy Lube on Sonoma!! after 12 years of taking my cars there for oli changeS and other jobs, today i finally had the worst service experience, they used to be good and fast but service has been gradually declining and today I went for a regular oil change for my truck, I took my 3 year old girl. when I got there I got in line behind two other cars, went inside the little waiting area but my 3 yr. old got impatient after 5 minutes so I told the guy I would go walk around and he say yes, you are on records I'll give you a call when ready, so I went and have luch in the chinese togo place across the street, (45 mnts) then went inside the furniture store next door for another 25 mnts. then walk around a little more and came back (this is over one hour later so I figured the my car was ready) only to find out that my truck was still sitting in line behind a new car (that was just pulling up to get service, while the car that was ahead of me when I left one hour earlier was already out ) so I asked the service guy and he just smile and said "hey let me give a discount coupon for your next visit" so I just told him I dont want that, and asked for them to move the car bihind me and left. That is ABSOLUPTLY TERRIBLE CUSTUMER SERVICE. they just lost a regular of two vehicules every 3,000 miles times 12 years, you do the math. read more

Well, where to start. I have been to this location numerous times over the past 5 years between my 2 vehicles. Each time I have received less than stellar service. But today takes the cake. The employees were so unprofessional. Each deserve a 1 star or less rating. Instead of working on my vehicle or any vehicle, I observed at least 2 technicians browsing T-shirts from some mobile vendor selling items from the trunk of a car. There were two vehicles that arrived after me yet they were done and departed before me. The tech who cashed me out did ask if I wanted my air filter replaced. I asked "does it need to be replaced?" His reply was he didn't know and that it was just up to me if I wanted a new one or not. I was there well over an hour. The floors were not vacuumed as stated. I brought it to the cashier's attention and expressed my disappointment. His reply was "hope my service will be better next time". Well, guess what? There will be no next time. They have lost a customer with multiple vehicles for life. read more
