I usually don't stop at jiffy lube unless I am in a bind and need an oil change, especially after an undercover report on jiffy lube on the news. I usually go to the one in northridge and never had any complaints at that location, however, this location is the worst I've ever been in. First of all, they would not let me take advantage of any discounts, even though there were two people on the street corner waving signs for 10 dollars off an oil change. Of course, they try and sell you a bunch of other services that are probably not needed. I'm not a mechanic, but I know my car and I would only trust my mechanic. I can't believe they looked me in the eye and straight up lied. This company needs to look into the customer service their stores since their name is already tarnished by the media and other customers. read more

Went in with a $21.99 coupon. I knew they would charge extra because my old Mercedes takes more than the 5 quarts in the coupon. Not a problem. The problem came when they said they are required to use synthetic oil in all Mercedes and BMWs and that the price would be just over $100. Required? By whom? My car is 18-years old and has 216,000 trouble-free miles and has never run synthetic oil. I said no thanks, got in my car and drove away as they were yelling at me to come back. I didn't and after reading the rest of these reviews, I am glad I didn't. read more

Refused to help me, got my car towed here and they didn't even do a diagnosis to even try to see what's wrong . My car wouldn't even start so they just pushed it off to the side of the building. RUDE! Guy kept replying to my question by me that the type of oil I use is my choice but refused to tell me the difference between synthetic, regular and half . I came in for a simple oil change, they snapped my oil plug and then tried to tell me I must have broken it while driving and then didn't even change my oil..........I'll never use Jiffy Lube again and this location specifially isn't worth visiting even in times of emergency. I avoided "Jiffy Lube" for years, specially after the scam they were doing, charging people for services they didn't perform. (the videos are on youtube, check them out). I brought in my car for because it needed the transmission fluid replaced/checked. I brought to them because I was driving by and they are fast and I just didn't want to spend my saturday looking for a place to do it. When I came in I told the tech that I was very scared of them because all the cheating and scamming they were doing but I was going to trust them again (why?, I have no idea, now I'm kicking myself in the azz for that). he told "Don't Worry" "Those guys were old timers" "We're the new generation, and we know what's up" , Those were his exact words. They pushed on me the synthetic high milage oil change which I did not want but ended buying anyway which I now regret. 3 weeks later my car is leaking oil and leaving oil spots all over the parking lot at work. I looked under the engine and it's a mess down there, oil everywhere, I can't tell where the leak is coming from. I took it back to them this morning, they looked at it and they told me that it was the transmission leaking, my car has never had a leak and it is taken to the mechanic every six months because I drive 60 miles per day and I can not afford to be stranded on the 405 freeway with a two year old baby. I told the tech that the oil leaks were from the front of the car and not from where the transmission is located, he said that sometimes when there's a leak and the car is driven the oil could come to the front. If Im driving forward, how is the oil from the transmission getting to the front of the car? Wouldn't it go the back of the car? Then the tech told me to take the car to the car wash and have the bottom of the car cleaned and to bring it back so he can look for the leak.!!! I have surgeries on both of my hands and elbows, that is why I took the car to them because I can't even lift a bag of groceries, I can't wash the bottom of my engine so they can see where they screwed up. I'm so done with these incompetent people. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO JIFFY LUBE. I AM FING FURIOUS, I PAID THEM ALMOST $200 TO F-UP MY CAR, NOW I HAVE TO PAY SOMEBODY ELSE TO FIX THEIR F-UP. read more

Tried to charge me 49 dollars on a 29 dollar oil change because I have All Wheel Drive. I would have never agreed to this from go, especially since I had the signed 'estimate" of my 29 dollar oil change at the very beginning and had to duck and dodge all of their other clever attempts at up-selling me. I think what bothered me the most was how casually they tried to do it. Like I was just expected to agree to this nonsense. Listen up guys, I have changed my oil all over the united states and no one has ever tried to charge me almost double because I have all wheel drive. I've also changed my oil at at least 50 different Jiffy Lubes and no one has attempted this. SKETCHY! I told them I will not give you 49 dollars for this. Its not happening. Horrible service . 1st of all no one was ahead of me and they said 15 mins to finish but it took at least 30 minutes and every time I looked at them they were chitchating and killing time it seemed like . 2nd They do not honor their coupons that's posted on their own website . So I took my car in for transmission flush, I've stopped coming here for oil changes because it's way overpriced. The check engine light happened to come on before I got there so I asked them to check it out. Turns out my car was misfiring and they said a fuel system cleaning would fix the problem. They even offered to knock down the price for me. A few weeks later, the light came on again. Took it someplace else this time and they said that misfiring will come from spark plugs, plug wires, distributor/rotor system. So apparently what happened was they cleaned my fuel system which I may or may not have needed, and just cleared the check engine light manually. The staff is friendly enough, but I wouldn't trust anything they tell you at this place. Know the service you need to have done ahead of time and don't let them sell you anything extra. read more

The best Jiffy Lube I have ever been to. The employees have been courteous and prompt each time I've been in. I never get upsold here, unlike every other Jiffy Lube I've had my oil changed at. Just simply informed. Maybe I just always catch them at a good time, but it has never been a long wait either. I really needed this to be done, My auto engine was NOT leaking oil upon arrival. Listen to this one, I had a tailpipe when I went to Jiffy Lube when I left Jiffy Lube NO TAILPIPE!!?? You have got to be kidding................ If you want your car damaged or not get the proper care this is the place to go, and if that is not enough they have not tried to get a hold of me or send me letter in regards to this beyond horrible situation. They were nice enough to also put my sticker on the license plate which really goes above and beyond because I only asked for the tool and I would do it. Despite the horrible reviews I still decided to give them a shot and I actually had a good experience. I was helped by Oscar and he did a great job and he made sure I was aware of what was being done to my car and he would come and double check with me. I used to like this location and I used to trust these guys. Paid for the Signature Service last time. Invoice said they topped off several fluids, including washer fluid. My reservoir was totally empty. Indicated that they checked tire pressure and said it was a solid 40lbs all around. I checked after I left because a tire looked low and it had 20lbs of pressure. Another had 28lbs. Stop being so lazy, you weren't even busy! At least check "ok" rather than "topped off" when faking services on an invoice. At least I might've left feeling only a little short changed rather than ripped off. Avoid this location. read more

I was told that the last place I went to get an oil change that possibly my plug was put in incorrectly and that if i continued to drive like that, it would of messed up my motor. Not sure why this place has such bad reviews. It's a standard oil change place. The service is really nice and friendly. All the staff know what they're doing and I personally have never been lied to or had to wait longer than 20 minutes which is a BIG plus for me. Often, when I don't have a coupon and I should, or when I haven't been in, in a while, they are nice enough to offer me a discount anyway. It's not the biggest but any little bit helps. Plus, a check in here gives $10 off an oil change. Sounds great to me! read more

So came in for a oil change and found out that I needed a filter change too. The mgr Rubin was really helpful in explaining what the filter functionality was and why I needed to replace it. When I actually came in all the workers were quick and easy to talk to. They topped off all my fluids and took great care of my car.
