Wow this place is convenient! My oil-change along with some other auto-tech stuff, was done in under 10 minutes, which was so great and Super affordable! This was actually my first time visiting ANY of the Jiffy Lube locations, and just want to say the service was phenomenal. Recently moved to this area of the valley and I was used to another Jiffy Lube. Going in here I was not sure what to expect, however, I was pleasantly surprised by the service done to my car and the customer service. At first the manager, Ruben, looked a little intimidating but after talking to him he's as sweet as pie. He gave me some good pointers about my car, which showed me that he really cared about the care of my car. I will definitely consider his advice. Yelp needs to start providing choices for negative stars. I didn't even have my oil changed, that's how bad it is. I called in around 2:30 pm to ask if they were busy and how much a standard oil change would be. The guy on the phone said they weren't busy at all and that a standard oil change was $24.99. So I went shopping down the street at Costco and headed there straight after. I pulled up at about 4:30 pm and there was only one truck in the entire service bay. Everything seemed straightforward, the attendant recognized it was my first visit and asked about the car. I gave him all the details and when I said I had called in and was offered the standard oil change for $24.99 he immediately interjected with a price of $39.99. I argued that I had been told differently over the phone. He asked if I was sure I had called his location and who I spoke to, but I didn't know because I hadn't gotten a name from the guy on the phone (didn't think I'd need to) and he insisted that there was no $24.99 offer. His next logical step was to walk over to the phone and ask me for my phone number. So now we're playing games... I tell him my complete phone number and there it is, bright as day... only one call came in after mine on his caller ID. So there's proof that I called in and he SUDDENLY remembers that there's an "early bird" special for $24.99 but that it's only offered in the morning. I point out that I clearly called after 2 pm and he then says he'll offer me $29.99 for the standard service and that it's only $5.00 more. I tell him that he should have just honored the price I was told over the phone and I walk back to my car. Now that I'm about to get into my car he finds he's willing to honor the price. Poorly played. Now that I almost literally twisted his arm with facts and straight talk, I'm not too sure if I trust that he or his staff will take proper care of my car. If this were a restaurant, I'd be afraid of spit in my food. Hell, they might even go the distance to spit into the oil filter. After reading some of these terrible, terrible reviews about the horrible lack of care this company shows its clientele, I wonder how franchises like this stay open. read more

BEWARE!!!! PLEASE READ Don't EVER GO TO THESE GUYS, I went in for a simple oil change with a coupon of 29.99 I was told to leave my car for 45minutes. I received a call about 30 minutes later and was told my car was high mileage and it was going to be 49.99 and I also was in desperate need of an air filter, I politely told the gentleman no thank I would NOT like to have my air filters changed for an additional 39.99 he became very very persistent on the fact I desperately needed to have these changed, I abruptly stopped him and said no thanks dude just the oil changed and agreed to paying the 49.99 for the oil change. NEXT DAY MY AIR CONDITIONER NO LONGER WORKED AND I KNOW FOR A FACT IT WAS PROPERLY WORKING WITHOUT ERROR BEFORE I TOOK MY CAR TO THEM, I called spoke with the manager and was told air conditioning service was over $200, I took my car to another mechanic who told me the freon gas had evaporated and needed to be recharged he fixed the problem for $100 bucks and works like brand new. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU CARE FOR YOUR CAR AND YOUR MONEY!!! I had an oil change at Jiffy Lube three weeks ago. After that, I noticed underneath my car leaking oil (which never happened before). I came back and told them what happened. They checked the car and told me it was no big deal, just the oil pan gasket that was worn out (hahaha no big deal???!!!), and told me to take to the mechanic and have it replaced. I took the car to my mechanic instead, and he said it was NOT the oil pan gasket. So, I took the car back to Jiffy Lube, this time they said it was the bolt that they put a wrong one in. They replaced a different one and said the car is fine now. I'm not so sure about that. Wow, two different "stories" they told me. I had no thing to say, and I don't know if they were trustworthy enough for me to come back ever again. I almost had to spend over 200 dollars for a new oil pan gasket installation. I usually don't stop at jiffy lube unless I am in a bind and need an oil change, especially after an undercover report on jiffy lube on the news. I usually go to the one in northridge and never had any complaints at that location, however, this location is the worst I've ever been in. First of all, they would not let me take advantage of any discounts, even though there were two people on the street corner waving signs for 10 dollars off an oil change. Of course, they try and sell you a bunch of other services that are probably not needed. I'm not a mechanic, but I know my car and I would only trust my mechanic. I can't believe they looked me in the eye and straight up lied. Went in with a $21.99 coupon. I knew they would charge extra because my old Mercedes takes more than the 5 quarts in the coupon. Not a problem. The problem came when they said they are required to use synthetic oil in all Mercedes and BMWs and that the price would be just over $100. Required? By whom? My car is 18-years old and has 216,000 trouble-free miles and has never run synthetic oil. I said no thanks, got in my car and drove away as they were yelling at me to come back. I avoided "Jiffy Lube" for years, specially after the scam they were doing, charging people for services they didn't perform. (the videos are on youtube, check them out). I brought in my car for because it needed the transmission fluid replaced/checked. I brought to them because I was driving by and they are fast and I just didn't want to spend my saturday looking for a place to do it. When I came in I told the tech that I was very scared of them because all the cheating and scamming they were doing but I was going to trust them again (why?, I have no idea, now I'm kicking myself in the azz for that). he told "Don't Worry" "Those guys were old timers" "We're the new generation, and we know what's up" , Those were his exact words. They pushed on me the synthetic high milage oil change which I did not want but ended buying anyway which I now regret. 3 weeks later my car is leaking oil and leaving oil spots all over the parking lot at work. I looked under the engine and it's a mess down there, oil everywhere, I can't tell where the leak is coming from. I took it back to them this morning, they looked at it and they told me that it was the transmission leaking, my car has never had a leak and it is taken to the mechanic every six months because I drive 60 miles per day and I can not afford to be stranded on the 405 freeway with a two year old baby. I told the tech that the oil leaks were from the front of the car and not from where the transmission is located, he said that sometimes when there's a leak and the car is driven the oil could come to the front. If Im driving forward, how is the oil from the transmission getting to the front of the car? Wouldn't it go the back of the car? Then the tech told me to take the car to the car wash and have the bottom of the car cleaned and to bring it back so he can look for the leak.!!! I have surgeries on both of my hands and elbows, that is why I took the car to them because I can't even lift a bag of groceries, I can't wash the bottom of my engine so they can see where they screwed up. I'm so done with these incompetent people. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO JIFFY LUBE. I AM FING FURIOUS, I PAID THEM ALMOST $200 TO F-UP MY CAR, NOW I HAVE TO PAY SOMEBODY ELSE TO FIX THEIR F-UP. read more

Tried to charge me 49 dollars on a 29 dollar oil change because I have All Wheel Drive. I would have never agreed to this from go, especially since I had the signed 'estimate" of my 29 dollar oil change at the very beginning and had to duck and dodge all of their other clever attempts at up-selling me. I think what bothered me the most was how casually they tried to do it. Like I was just expected to agree to this nonsense. Listen up guys, I have changed my oil all over the united states and no one has ever tried to charge me almost double because I have all wheel drive. So I took my car in for transmission flush, I've stopped coming here for oil changes because it's way overpriced. The check engine light happened to come on before I got there so I asked them to check it out. Turns out my car was misfiring and they said a fuel system cleaning would fix the problem. They even offered to knock down the price for me. A few weeks later, the light came on again. Took it someplace else this time and they said that misfiring will come from spark plugs, plug wires, distributor/rotor system. So apparently what happened was they cleaned my fuel system which I may or may not have needed, and just cleared the check engine light manually. The staff is friendly enough, but I wouldn't trust anything they tell you at this place. Know the service you need to have done ahead of time and don't let them sell you anything extra. read more

The best Jiffy Lube I have ever been to. The employees have been courteous and prompt each time I've been in. I never get upsold here, unlike every other Jiffy Lube I've had my oil changed at. Just simply informed. Maybe I just always catch them at a good time, but it has never been a long wait either. I used to like this location and I used to trust these guys. Paid for the Signature Service last time. Invoice said they topped off several fluids, including washer fluid. My reservoir was totally empty. Indicated that they checked tire pressure and said it was a solid 40lbs all around. I checked after I left because a tire looked low and it had 20lbs of pressure. Another had 28lbs. Stop being so lazy, you weren't even busy! At least check "ok" rather than "topped off" when faking services on an invoice. At least I might've left feeling only a little short changed rather than ripped off. Avoid this location. read more
