This place use to be the place to come to for an oil change. Today I came and just my luck I saw 5 guys working on my suv after 1:30 hrs of wait! I go up and none of them have communication skills to tell me something is wrong. BAD CUSTOMER SEVICE. specially from one that has been coming here for years. All workers just eating and laughing with no updates on how your car is doing. NEVER AGAIN. The overall experience was so so. The first person I had seen was very rude. Andres had popped my hood and proceeded to scold me for everything, even though I told him I had just bought my vehicle. I came to Jiffy Lube to get a quick oil change and tire rotation. They had me in and out within 15-20 minutes. Oscar was extremely helpful and answered my questions and when they saw that my car needed one more thing they quickly notified me and then got to it right away. Stunningly terrible operation. First time I went there I had to go back two to three times for them to finally realize that they had put the wrong sized washer on, in the meantime with oil spilling all over my driveway and elsewhere. They comped me my next oil change and, stunningly, they made another mistake. Their "best guy" put the wrong sized gasket on, leading to the same oil leakage issues as before. Furthermore, I went back to that Jiffy Lube to have the problem looked at and now their "best man" could find nothing wrong. He hosed it off as a purported solution. Of course this solved nothing. I finally, days later, after stating that I would file a consumer complaint with the California State Attorney General if this matter was not resolved, was directed to Guillermo, someone who manages all of this company's Jiffy Lubes (Jiffy Lube is a franchise situation) who in turn had me visit the Sherman Oaks Jiffy Lube they own. Within ten seconds their "best man" diagnosed the wrong-sized gasket. I called Guillermo several days later to ask if he was aware of how the matter had resolved--assuming of course that he had followed up on it, but just trying to get the conversation going--and he said "No." I explained to him what these two blatant mistakes by this Jiffy Lube had cost me--easily four hours of time going back and forth to have the matter solved, as well as having to clean the driveway multiple times--and that I was seeking, at the minimum, to be comped one oil change for the hours of my life that had been wasted. Guillermo told me," We already gave you one free oil change," which, as an side, of course was the one that cost me another couple hours of my life. Guillermo said I could file a complaint with the "District Attorney." I told him that I said the California State Attorney General. He said, "District Attorney, Attorney General, they are both the same, you can do what you wish." I told him I would wait until Friday. It was a Tuesday. He told me "I am busy. I have a lot of things to do. I will not be getting back with you by Friday." read more

The oil pan on my Chrysler 200 needed to be replaced yesterday. Why? Because jiffy lube tightened the bolt so much during my oil change that the washer was crushed and the grooves stripped. The pan started to leak oil. The funny thing, when I took the car to my mechanic, his exact words were " you got this done at Jiffy Lube, didn't you? " Well, thanks to Jiffy Lube, I had to pay 150 for a new oil pan. This experience didn't just turn me away from Jiffy Lube; I will never go to a lube shop again. read more

I love this Jiffy Lube. I live in Lancaster and drive to Encino everyday. They always change my oil. I almost made a mistake last weekend and went to Lancaster's Jiffy Lube. Those guys just wanted to take advantage of me. Nope, I don't think so... made them take my car out of their bay and went back to my guys at Jiffy Lube Van Nuys! Had a so-so experience last time but it seems to have been a one time thing (probably because I came on a very busy Saturday!). The gentleman that helped me last time helped me again and was just as professional and super courteous. They definitely read their reviews and know how to take feedback well. I was in the area and required an oil change on my 2013 Toyota Camry. I hesitated to pull in because I was unfamiliar with the area and there are quite a few options. Don't do that! If you require service stop by and look for Anderson. He greeted me warmly when I pulled in and began the check in process right away. The oil change took less than 10 minutes! I wish i had something good to say .....but like most oil change places try to up sell things that are not needed, these idiots tried to pull the same fast one on me. Just had the transmission serviced earlier that month but the tech told me i needed to change transmission fluid because it was old. Also the invoice i got said they vacuumed my floors and checked my break lights wich was a fat lie. Just hate spending my money where you get a funny feeling from the start. Anderson and Andres are a good team. Friendly and fast, and were happy to double-check everything was in place before I left...drain plug and oil filter, just to be sure. They showed me my dirty air filters and worn wiper blades and left it at that, letting me decide to replace them or not. I took my car for an oil change at this location where I had my previous car serviced in the past .. apparently the business ethics have changed according to the new manager on the premises. They started working on my car and had already drained the oil out of the car which I never consented to it before they quote me a price for the oil change. I am so outrage by their action! Went here to try their oil change. I also got a coupon for $5 off with all the "claimed" free service from the internet. When I got there,they told me that they have a promo for $8 off, which according to the mechanic is better than the $5 that I have. But when I saw the prices, $36 for a basic oil change! Kinda overpriced. Other shops charge only from $24.95 . Anyway, it's only a few dollars so what the heck. They have a cool and comfortable waiting lounge. I didn't see any hot receptionist though as one reviewer pointed out. The service was fast. They "apparently" cleaned my windows and checked my cabin and air filters. They offered to change the cabin filter for $39.95 which is really overpriced knowing that I can get it from a local Pepboys store for $18.95 (tax included) which only takes less than 5 mins to replace. Barely seated for another 15 minutes when they told me it was done. So I went back to the car and realized what kind of service Jiffylube does (well for this branch) My interior was not vacuumed. Windows that they cleaned showed marks..meaning they were not cleaned well. They didn't even reset the maintenance required indicator after replacing the oil. Wouldn't come back here. dont trust jiffy lube to rotate your tires, last time I marked my tires in the back before taking it in, when i checked them they HAD NOT ROTATED THEM, yet charged me for a tire rotation and when they put the lug nuts back on, they put them on too tight and stripped them 2 snapped off while driving some weeks later and some other BS w the tires, I had to take my car into the toyota dealership to get it fixed, it ended up costing me almost 2 grand to fix what those jiffy lube idiots did! read more
