Anderson and Andres are a good team. Friendly and fast, and were happy to double-check everything was in place before I left...drain plug and oil filter, just to be sure. They showed me my dirty air filters and worn wiper blades and left it at that, letting me decide to replace them or not. They asked about my transmission fluid service date, more as a reminder than a sales pitch. Guillermo made sure I used all of my coupons to save me some money...a bonus. read more

I wish i had something good to say .....but like most oil change places try to up sell things that are not needed, these idiots tried to pull the same fast one on me. Just had the transmission serviced earlier that month but the tech told me i needed to change transmission fluid because it was old. Also the invoice i got said they vacuumed my floors and checked my break lights wich was a fat lie. Just hate spending my money where you get a funny feeling from the start. Went here to try their oil change. I also got a coupon for $5 off with all the "claimed" free service from the internet. When I got there,they told me that they have a promo for $8 off, which according to the mechanic is better than the $5 that I have. But when I saw the prices, $36 for a basic oil change! Kinda overpriced. Other shops charge only from $24.95 . Anyway, it's only a few dollars so what the heck. They have a cool and comfortable waiting lounge. I didn't see any hot receptionist though as one reviewer pointed out. The service was fast. They "apparently" cleaned my windows and checked my cabin and air filters. They offered to change the cabin filter for $39.95 which is really overpriced knowing that I can get it from a local Pepboys store for $18.95 (tax included) which only takes less than 5 mins to replace. Barely seated for another 15 minutes when they told me it was done. So I went back to the car and realized what kind of service Jiffylube does (well for this branch) My interior was not vacuumed. Windows that they cleaned showed marks..meaning they were not cleaned well. They didn't even reset the maintenance required indicator after replacing the oil. Wouldn't come back here. dont trust jiffy lube to rotate your tires, last time I marked my tires in the back before taking it in, when i checked them they HAD NOT ROTATED THEM, yet charged me for a tire rotation and when they put the lug nuts back on, they put them on too tight and stripped them 2 snapped off while driving some weeks later and some other BS w the tires, I had to take my car into the toyota dealership to get it fixed, it ended up costing me almost 2 grand to fix what those jiffy lube idiots did! read more

I have been a customer of the Jiffy Lube brand for 10 years now. I recently moved to Van Nuys and was happy there was a jiffy lube just a mile away because I was afraid to go somewhere else for an oil Change since I was accustomed to the jiffy lube way of things. However, the service I received here was NOTHING like I had been use to. When I arrived, a guy hand signaled me where to pull in (which is normal) but they he walked away and never came back. I stood there for exactly 7 minutes and no one approached me, so I went to seek help for myself. So the person I then asked for help from, entered my mileage into the system and told me it would be a 45 minute wait, but I was a bit confused because while he was taking my info, another guy signaled someone to pull all the way in and they began on that persons car immediately yet he had arrived AFTER me. After the guy was done putting me in the system, he told me they would get me started soon and he walked away. Never directed me to the lobby, just left me standing in the heat. So after 4 minutes of again just standing, I asked if there was a lobby and he points to it without directing me. The service was just horrid and opposite of the experience I've had with this company for 10 years. My advice to the staff would be to NOT show their emotion because everyone seemed stressed out. Last summer I needed to get an oil change and since Jiffy Lube is just around the corner from my home, I decided I'd try the place out. Of course after checking my car out they found other issues with the car that needed to be taken care of, one of them being that the bulb for my right tail light was out. I was skeptical getting it done since I figured it was an easy job I could do myself but the guy convinced me and said that would be an easy ticket for a cop to give me it would be silly to not just get it done now. So sure I paid and they took care of my oil change and my rear tail light. Fast forward 6 months and I get pulled over because my right tail light is out. I, of course was confused, since I had just gotten it replaced 6 months ago. Whatever, I go to pep boys pick up a bulb and go to replace it only to find that there isn't even a bulb in place where it should be! It was empty! Unbelievable that I was charged for a service that I actually never recieved! So disappointed I won't ever visit a Jiffy Lube again! read more

This company or at least this location is lacking integrity. They broke the handle to my car hood. No one told me. I simply found it when I looked down. There was this black rectangle by my foot and I flipped it over and it was the handle to pop the hood open. The guy standing there was like, oh it was glued on that's why it broke. He never apologized. It was like he blamed me. I calmly told him I had the car for 2 years, I've popped the hood several times and had it serviced multiple times and NEVER has this come off. I said, well can't you glue it back on since you broke it? He asked another tech and two more guys came over. One says, well it was glued on, that's why it came off. Argh!!! What does that have to do with the fact that I never glued it on, you broke it off and no one told me, I found it myself? Then he says they don't have glue but if I go to the liquor store I can get glue there. Wow...I'm not planning on returning here EVER. The issue is bigger to me than a handle. The issue is a lack of integrity. Ok, if you're going to break the handle on my car hood and not tell me...what did you possibly break under the hood and not tell me about? read more

I took my car for an oil change at this location where I had my previous car serviced in the past .. apparently the business ethics have changed according to the new manager on the premises. They started working on my car and had already drained the oil out of the car which I never consented to it before they quote me a price for the oil change. I am so outrage by their action! Update - replying back to there comment - What the use of speaking unless you would pay $500 to fix the leak. --------------------------------------------------------- I went to this place as they had a good deal. The manager was rude and very impolite. He has no professional attitude. He asked me if I wanted to upgrade oil and I denied it. They used to clean windows and do vacuum with any oil service. The manager rudely said if I want to get cheap oil, than I won't get window clean and vacuum. Anyway, they broke something and oil is leaking. I took it to another location to make sure that the lid is not loose. It wasn't. It's leaking and I have to spend couple hundred dollars to fix it. Never coming again. I always go to Fashion Square oil change in Sherman oaks. They are very honest. Female needs honest place as we don't know much about cars. Even though it's little pricey, they won't brake anything in my car. I've been going to Fashion Square for four years. I wish I had stick with Fashion Square. Curse you Jiffy Lube. read more

I left before even getting my oil changed. The customer service was subpar. In other words, the person that "greeted" me was just plain rude. After reading a few reviews, I see I am not the only person to leave this location without good service. The employee was sarcastic and hostile. I look forward to returning to my regular Valvoline location on Riverside Dr. In Toluca Lake. The whole vibe of this place is icky. I hope corporate headquarters reads the reviews and realizes that something is very wrong here. read more

I've been waiting for almost 45 mins and he never call me to let me know that he can't do the oil change for my car, because he said he need special tool to open my oil filter. He is so rude. I have been here a few times for oil changes, and Uriel (manager) is so in tune with what your car needs and how to care for it so it will last for years to come. I have experienced other facilities that would give me a list of additional work needed to be done, but just wanted to get more money. I am EXTREMELY upset with their lack of professionalism. Long story short, I had a Jiffly Lube coupon from the the weekly ads for $29.99 which included an oil change & tire rotation service. My neighborhhod JL doesn't do rotations, so I had to try this location. The MANAGER on site simply refeused to honor my coupon because "It's like doing it for free. WE can't do that." After his blatant denial of service, I clarified that he was denying my coupon and I to be sure and he just shook his head to say No. Sadly, I saw four guys lounging around the place and only one car in the bays being attended to. It's not like they were tooo busy and could not get to me. NEVER waste your time with such a pathetic place. read more
