Jiffy Lube is awesome, especially the one closest to me in Clear Lake. They're always extremely quick, kind and efficient. This past time I came there, I had a $25 off coupon they emailed me for Valentine's Day, and they took $10 off just for being the first car of the day to arrive. My car was such a mess and they cleaned the whole thing out for me, and I was out with in 20 minutes. So awesome! read more

I usually go to the car dealership or Walmart for my oil change. With that being said , when I went to Walmart they said they didn't have a certain part to m do my oil change. So I decided to try jiffy lube. This location seemed to have the most satisfied customers so here I am. They work fast. As soon as I got inside, they already drained my oil. When I saw the prices, OMG ALMOST TWICE THE PRICE THAT WALMART CHARGES. Price comparison: For full synthetic penzoil platinum, $78 dollars at jiffy lube: $45 at Walmart for the SAME OIL!! The service was excellent and fast!! I had my state inspection and oil change all done in less than 30 minutes. But the price is too high I will not be back. I would give 1 star for the price and 5 stars for the service giving an average of 3 stars. read more

(Unfortunately, women be warned!!!) I'm leaving this review on behalf of my roommate, who just got her oil changed maybe an hour ago. She was told by an employee that her right brake light was out. She declined service. However, upon getting home, she had me check for her, and neither were out!!! If she had said yes, they would've charge $450 to "fix it". This to me is another terrible example of the men in this industry trying to take advantage of women. Please be mindful and always double check what they're attempting to "fix" for you. I came here for a state inspection and they really have a good flow and great atmosphere from what i can see. I could tell they were having a good time without skipping a beat in getting things done. I was maybe 3rd in line but they got me out in a total of 16 minutes!! Bravo, y'all! read more

After getting an oil change from this location, they stripped the screw & I now have an oil leak . Had a light come on in my car that said my oil pressure was low & had to stop my engine . Took it some where else to get an oil change and they let me know the last place I went to must of rushed & that's why that happened . read more

They refused because my piece of paper that shows my insurance was set to expire in 3 weeks. Needed my oil change and since my mustang is really low to the ground my dad and I decided to take it somewhere for a change. My mom had taken my dad's mustang here a couple weeks ago again because they are so low to the ground. One of their mechanics is just as much of a mustang lover as our family so we knew our cars were in good hands. When I pulled up a guy walked out and told me everything I would get along with my oil change. They vacuum, wash windows and check the fluids and hoses in your car along with the tire pressure and pump them up if needed. I thought this was wonderful! They also have several different kinds of penzoil. We chose the semisynthetic for $59.99. The cheaper way to go is normal penzoil for about $40. They also do inspections. I like to watch them change the oil to make sure they change the filter and use the right oil and they didn't mind at all. They also have a nice little waiting room if you would rather read a magazine. They were fast and efficient. We were there for about 20 minutes and my car had a total check and my oil changed. I was very impressed and if I need an oil change while in Clear Lake this is where I will go. read more

Very please with the service I received today. Took my husband's truck in to get an oil change, and was immediately greeted by a manager that was very helpful. He let me know before they started the service that it would be a bit more expensive than we thought because this truck holds 8 quarts of oil rather than the standard 5. Understandable. They did the full synthetic oil change, clean the windows, vacuumed the interior, and topped off all the fluids. Luckily I had a $15 off coupon to ease the hit to the wallet. Called jiffy lube after I got a quote for $200 to get my oil changed at the VW dealership. Drove over to jiffy lupe and my oil and everything was checked in less than 20 minutes and I saved over $100 dollars. All of the guys were very nice and helpful. They didn't try to offer services my car didn't need and didn't take advantage of me because I am a woman that knows nothing about car maintenance...which I greatly appreciate. Also gave me $10 off my next oil change from them and I will def be going back. read more

Overpriced !!!! I have been driving for 35 years...... never been charged extra for the oil filter. And extra quarts of oil are $6 each ? $41 I thought was a little high..... then all the extras for a "basic" oil change added up to be $62 total. I usually pay less than that at an actual repair shop, including them going over vehicle to check brakes, tires and all other fluids. read more

Used them for an oil change and fuel filter change on Wednesday. Thursday night my truck shut down due to "poor fuel flow". They came to my house the next morning and basically jiggled a few things and reset the check engine light. Now on Friday night, I'm waiting for a wrecker to get me home due to same issue. Called the manager earlier this evening and was told he could do nothing to help me tonight because it was too close to closing time. Brought my car here to SIMPLY get my oil changed. Next day I hear a knocking sound when I drive. Make plans to get it looked at somewhere else, but too late. Somehow the incompetent workers here knocked my serpentine belt loose, on accident or not, who knows, which of course caused my engine to over heat, my power steering to go out, all that good stuff while I was driving it. So now not only do I have to pay for a tow, but I also have to get my belt fixed now that had zero problems before I came here. Because I mean if they noticed an issue they would of told me of course wouldn't they have? Regardless I know this place is the root of my issues. Car fob was never returned to the car. When I left the car with the employee, the car fob was in the center console. When the car was brought out of the shop, the car was started. When I got to my next destination, I began looking for my key. It wasn't there, so I went home thinking it was dropped somewhere in the car. These guys handled a big screw up from the Pasadena Burke location. Kindly fixed a stripped oil plug that Burke somehow allowed me to leave with leaking over a quart and a half of oil in the month since my visit. This location went above and beyond to help rectify the situation even though things were made more complicated by being in different district than Pasadena which meant several managers had to be involved. I will only be doing business with this Jiffy Lube from now on! read more

I was so satisfied with the service when I brought my fiancé's car last time I decided to bring my car in today. Same great quick customer service. The manager that helped me out last time, Said, was there again and walked me through everything that was being done to my car and let me know what was coming due to be checked on. He was very knowledgeable and gave me tips on how to save money for services on my car, and very friendly as well. They were busy again today, but I was still in and out pretty quickly. He insisted I needed synthetic oil for my oil change even though the toyota website indicated I needed conventional. basically i think he just wanted to charge me extra. eventually he accepted that conventional was ok for the car. then he kept on trying to sell me extras like cabin filters, air filters, fuel injection etc. i was naive so he basically ended up charging me like $80+ for services I did not need when all I wanted was a $25 oil change. the only reason i went there was because it was the only place open around 7pm on Friday evening. i would avoid this place at all costs. they over charge you, offer you things you do not need, and in my opinion are not even honest and will lie to your face even when you know they are lying. read more

ugh. i am pissed. i needed an oil change and I opted for the $40 signature service. I had a groupon that would make it $20. The manager showed me both the cabin and air intake filters, and I opted to replace the intake filter as it was pretty dirty. After about 20 minutes I was informed my car was done. While paying, I asked if the signature service did indeed include the window wash and vacuuming. The technician told me yes, that window wash and vacuum was included. I paid and went out to my car, only to discovered that the car had not been vacummed, nor had the windows been washed....SURPRISE. I went back in and told the technician, and they pulled my car around and performed those services. After the vacuuming and window wash was completed, I got in my car and heard a strange noise. The noise was related to my cabin fan. I alerted the manager, who came into my car and removed the glove box to look at the cabin air filter. After the manager removed the glovebox, I noticed that a dirty paper towel had been left near the cabin air filter. I alerted the manager to this, and he removed the papertowel, and then removed the cabin air filter and then put it back in. The noise persisted. He stated, "I bet some dirt or a leaf got down in the cabin air filter and it is causing the noise". (I think what actually happened is that another paper towel got sucked down into my ducts while they were working on the car.) I told him that he should remedy the problem, as I had no such problem before the cabin air filter was removed. He stated, "I don't know what to tell you, the best I can offer is that you drive around for a few days and if it doesn't go away, come back in." This is not an acceptable answer--however, I was offered no alternative. I'm taking my car in tomorrow to my car a/c guy as I wouldn't take it back to JiffyLube EVER EVER again. If you don't ABSOLUTELY don't have to go to the Jiffy lube on El Dorado Blvd, then don't! I went there, and they said that I needed a new battery, and I went against my better judgment, but I decided to get a new battery. When they installed the new battery, the car alarm went off big time, and they asked me for the key, but I don't use the alarm key to lock it. I use the old fashioned way of locking (i.e. I don't set the alarm at all) which means that I just have a regular key! Those incompetents couldn't stop the alarm, and I had to wait there a lot longer before the car alarm "reset" itself. It's no wonder why they didn't let me rate them, like all the other Jiffy Lube's, because they would have received a ZERO, and they know it! I'd give them ZERO stars right now if it were an option. There's an old saying. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". If they try to sell you something, get a second opinion because you probably don't need it! Save yourself some money AND TIME and go somewhere else! read more
