The car is a 2003 Nissan 350z. You'd be a sucker to come here and spend money for car maintenance. I'd never spend this much on such coolant or these parts but hands were tied and had to tow to the nearest shop I knew...However I'll be towing anywhere but here from here on out. Icing on the cake would be the scratches on my hood discovered when picking up my car. This is how you run business?

He reached his finger down to a tiny port on the side of the running engine, and as soon as he covered the hole, the engine smoothed right out. He said it was a vacuum leak. He reached into his shirt pocket, took out a little rubber nipple, and installed it on the hole. I was good to go!! I asked what I owed him, and he said, "Nothing." My 21-year-old sister had her car towed there because it wouldn't shut off and was stuck in park. After sitting there for a WEEK, they told her it needed a battery... and charged her $550. Problem is--that wasn't the issue. When they were questioned about it, the dealer hung up on my dad twice. They then said it needed more diagnostics (more $$$) and wouldn't release the car unless she paid. No return call from management either. We had it towed to another mechanic... and within ONE MINUTE they found the real problem: A bottle cap stuck in the transmission. Fixed immediately. No charge. There are honest mechanics out there--but this was not one of them. Just a heads up so no one else gets burned.
